TheStig Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 I call Gwazi a 2 credit coaster because although they are mirror images of each other, they vary in some areas. I count all racing, dueling coasters as two because they are two seperate tracks that in sme cases share supports. But if you want some real credit whoreing, head over to Little A-Merikk-A in WI, it says WHORE all over it... Colin"Little dipper and the wooden plank breaks, oh yeah"C
ebl Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 Credit-whoring would be riding one of those stupid dragon rides at a fair---and counting it as a coaster! Eric
DutchCoasterFan Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 I just don´t understand why you don not count powered, those things are coasters ... I think recounting as an credit after relocation is very stupid
DeliriumTrigger Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 I just don´t understand why you don not count powered, those things are coasters ... But the problem is they don't coast...they're driven along the track.
DutchCoasterFan Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 But official powered coasters are coasters ... But lets say it´s a personal opinion
rollermonkey Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 Hi, my name is Chris, and I am a Credit Whore. Hi, Chris. I count everything that shows up on RCDB. Water coasters, (not flumes) Powered coasters and Kiddie coasters. I know many people don't count these, many do. Counting coasters is a personal thing, and everyone has different opinions. Some folks don't count Superman at 6FMM, some do for example. Make your own rules, then stick by them or modify them as you see fit. Chris B 413 including The Rudolph coaster (powered) at Seoul Land on Monday.
jarmor Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 And let's also remember that it is REALLY important who has the higher count! Happy where I am! Even if it was dead last in the competition! So what your saying is that the higher the count the more "important" the person. Im not trying to be funny but just dont understand. Jarvis "Not a credit whore!!" Morant
SFNELover Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Robb, I was just wondering about how many roller coasters you've been on. I know you've been on alot of coaster, but how many?
larrygator Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 I'm merging this with another thread where Elissa last answered this question!
Sir Clinksalot Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 ^ Of course, that was like 4 years ago and Coaster Counter has Robb at some insane number like 1,200 or something now.
robbalvey Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Robb, I was just wondering about how many roller coasters you've been on. I know you've been on alot of coaster, but how many? You would actually have to ask Elissa! I personally don't keep a count, but she keeps one for me. I'm pretty sure my coaster count is over 1,000 but I don't know for sure what it is. --Robb
TPDave Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I *think* you got 1000 on the wacky worm at Del Grossos. Can't be sure though... Elissa what are you at now? it was 700 or so last I heard. Dave
dandaman Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I remember you mentioning, Robb, that you were really really close to the 1000 mark at Behemoth Bash. Dan "Maybe your 1000th credit was Trevor from RetroActive?" Smith
SharkTums Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Ok, I just went to update our counts...I can't believe we didn't ride any new coasters between September and March! Wow, we're really easing up here! Instead of new credits we did WDW three times, a cruise, and went back to places we really like! Robb's Official Count (His counting method) 1068 Robb's CoasterCounter.com Count (Their method) 1230 Elissa's Official Count (My counting method) 958 Elissa's CoasterCounter.com Count (Their method) 1049
Erik Johnson Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Actually while we rode the spinning mouse at Delgrosso's you mentioned that it was your 1,000 credit, Robb.
SharkTums Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 ^We thought that at the time, but when we went back Robb's 1000th ended up being the spinning coaster at Seabreeze!
dandaman Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I thought that Mindbender was a new credit for you?
SharkTums Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 It was...hence the not riding anything new until March!
CreditCrazy Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Maybe backwards Mindbender should count as another credit Since it is a...different ride a experience.
