Do you live near a ride design company?

I was just wondering if anyone here lived near a ride design company? I live just a few minutes away from Premier Rides. You can tell that they don't want the general public to know where they are located as they are on the backside of an office building. Pretty cool, huh?

I live in the middle of nowhere, there ain't any designers out here.

I live near TechFX (I think that's their name)...anyways they do a lot of effects in/on rides. They did some of the Mummy stuff, I believe some Poseidon stuff, and lots of randomness. I think I might go ask them for a tour of their facility at some point.

B&M and Intamin are about an hour away from where I usually live...

I live in Maryland, about 20 minutes from Millersville - which is home to Premier Rides and Intamin. Intamin also has an office in Glen Burnie, about 10-15 minutes from my house, under a different name, Intaride.

Zibits does not do rides, but they have done a bunch of themeing for rides for IOA and Disney.

WDI is a half an hour away from me, and I know they have outsourced stuff to companies in the Valencia Industrial Center.

 

Thats where the Indy ride vehicles were programmed.

As for me, I guess you can say WDI and Universal Creative are about 20 minutes from me...not that Universal Creative's offices are terribly exciting or anything.

I live less then 10 miles away from the VEKOMA headquaters in Vlodrop/Netherlands. Never been there, though

Let's see .. Giovanola and Fabbri both have offices in Arlington, about 41 miles from me and LARC has their office about 30 miles south of me, they do park layouts and such, nice people.
