I was going to wait to see what the rate was, but I have friends staying there for the event and I didnt want to miss getting the room. For reference I paid $87 a night plus tax for 2 nights. Place only has 101 rooms, and that screams TPR takeover

For anybody renting a car from the airport, Enterprise seems to be the least expensive right now.

 

My 3 day rental cost me as much as my 9 hour rental last week in Chicago.

Very tempted to attend this event. Non of my friends can make it so I'd have to come down by myself.

 

You should come there's 100+ of us going to be there! It's very easy to find a group to ride rides with for the day!

Awesome that a TPR rate was arranged for the hotel (Thanks Robb)... I was very worried that the hotel would sell out quickly, so I had booked my room at the internet rate the day I purchased my DSB tickets... Now I only have to get the flash pass for 3... I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!... Its our first time on a TPR trip... and our first time (for two of us at least) to SFoG... We are SUPER excited!...

 

Friday 9/16 - drive to Georgia. Pick up some beer. Relax impatiently at the hotel.

Saturday 9/17 - DSB.

Sunday 9/18 - Start our drive. Stop at Wild Adventures (to stretch our legs) on the way home for a couple of hours. Continue our drive home to Central Florida.

Monday 9/19 - Return to work (and "reality"!)

Just booked our room! Since we're only a couple of hours away we're just going to drive over Saturday morning, then stay there Saturday night. Didn't really want to spend the extra $100 for Friday night, too. We'll just have to go to bed early Friday night so we can be up and at 'em super early on Saturday. So flippin' excited!

A takeover by TPR is on the minds of the hotel's staff. When I booked a room, the front desk clerk said she was concerned about having enough chlorine on hand to keep the pool and spa in a sanitary state. I guess they've seen pictures from past trips, huh?

All I know is that I don't have to be anywhere early on Sunday, and ERT ends at 10:00 ... plenty of time for a TPR pool takeover. Anybody happen to know what the pool hours are? We may need to nicely request that they extend them.

Preferably with someone I know from NE Trip, but just a preference.
