Geauga Lake Discussion Thread

Recommended Posts

Wow, you can tell that http://www.savethebigdipper.com is the REAL official site. They've placed ads on Google, Facebook, have a Twitter account, a Facebook page, and clearly have a professional web designer working for them.

That "other" clearly not as professional .org site doesn't have any of these things. And wouldn't you EXPECT a real organization to have taken the time to set all of them up?

I just joined twitter so I could follow this very noble cause of yours, Prince Desmod. Do you by any chance know my great-gandfather... he was a prince too, but in Ghana. Thank you very much.

At the bottom of the page

"This is a parody of http://www.savethebigdipper.org Let this be a lesson to the webmasters of that site that if a .com is available BUY IT before someone else does."

I feel that is VERY sound advice. Prince Desmond sounds like a good man with a solid plan! I'd follow him on Twitter if I were you:

^ You're 16 years old. According to the Today show you should be out banging chicks. What are you doing here bitching about Price Desmond?

the price of companionship in vegas has gone up since the economy turned south, wait a minute, maybe they could be talked into donating to save the big dipper, i mean with free cialis, its a win win for everyone. hookersforwoodies.com or hookerslovewoodies.com

:lmao:

Seriously? Taking ad space out on facebook and google? That's pretty amazing... I'm willing to bet that site gets at least 100X more donations than .org in the next week.

I'm hoping Prince Desmond can update the page with an old school counter graphic on the site so we can see how quickly savethebigdipper.com surpasses the .org site in hits....

savethebigdipper.org[/url]"]It’s difficult to imagine the level of childishness required to do something like this. Not only did this individual take the time to make this idiotic website, they also went to the trouble of actually paying for the domain. This is childish, moronic, and clearly indicative of what kind of enthusiast Rob Alvey is (I refuse to recognize the false “b”). There’s a difference in doing something for the lulz and actually going out of your way to design and buy a website to “teach a lesson.” You’re a douchenozzle, Alvey – we all learned that lesson ages ago. You should stop wasting your money on faux websites and instead use it to support the children you still acknowledge having.

For the record, the guy that wrote this is named Steve, but not this Steve. I'm getting a giant donkey-sized kick out of this whole thing.
