PhantomPoster32
Greying out is not "fun" for me. I think that's why I am always hesitant to ride I-305. I'd much rather ride Volcano Never greyed out on it. So you've never been on it? No I rode it 3 times pre-modifications and then 2 times the year after modifications and then 2 times this year where I was trying different things to minimize the sensation of which nothing worked. I'll give it a ride if I'm at the park (I don't visit very often considering how far away the park is from me) but I don't deny that I'm hesitant every time
LiftThrill
I'm not a big fan of heavy sustained g-forces, but I'll give I305 a shot before I bash it
DonkeysWaffles
If you are riding I305 for the first time, definitely sit towards the middle. It's not quite as intense there as it is in the front and ESPECIALLY the back. I think the whole ride needs a makeover, from the theming to the first turn. Gnome
(inb4rage)I really wish the ride had better airtime, because it was extremely disappointing. Especially considering that there were three hills designed just for airtime. The airtime on i305 is comparable to Gemini's, and that's being generous. Hah! HAHAHAH! HA! Not even close. Gemini had ok airtime but it doesn't hold a candle to i305

fraroc
I'm afraid I'm going to have to disagree and say that greying out is an exhilarating experience for me and so long as it's only for a few seconds, it shouldn't be a detriment to anyone's health. Ummmm, lots of people black out. I mean it's a fantastic ride, and my 2nd favorite behind Fury 325, but I just wish it was more re-rideable. Also, the racing theme does not fit Safari Villiage. I mean at least Flight of a Fear's theming is inside.

cfc
Avalanche kind of does. I was unaware that sudden slides of snow and ice were a hazard when one was on "safari."
mike541x
A bit early but I thought I might as well ask. How are crowds on Sundays during Halloween Haunt compared to Saturdays? I've gone to Haunt the past few years on Saturdays and the park was typically crowded. My friends and I are planning to visit the park again in a few months since our visit yesterday wasn't the greatest due to the fact Joyfest fell on the same day, so we'd like to make up for it. Sundays are slower than Saturdays during Haunt. But the park is open on Fridays during October from 7:00 pm until midnight, and that's a good night to enjoy Haunt. You can also spring for Fright Lane to avoid the lines on Saturday. Edited July 19, 2015 by cfc
mike541x
Thanks Chuck. I figured I'd ask about Sundays since it's probably the best day for my friends and I to go since we'd all be off on those days. If worse comes to worse and we end up going on a busy Saturday, we'll have no problem throwing extra money for Fright Lane (especially after dealing with yesterday's crowds). Also, you keep ignoring my question. How many times have you ridden Fury? I've asked you this three times now. Seeing how much you compare I305 to Fury, I would hope that you have ridden both of them.

mike541x
Most of the coasters and water rides had lines spilling out of the queues. We didn't have to wait more than hour for any ride (The most we waited was probably close to 45 minutes tops), but it was still one of the busiest days I've seen at the park. Rebel Yell, Hurler and Grizzly were the shortest waits, one train wait for each so that wasn't too bad.
FSUFanChris
^^^ Nice. It's my favorite coaster, over I305. My best friend Matt likes 305. It all depends on what you're after in a coaster, I suppose. Maybe it helps that he greys out, while I don't.
