4718 Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 Had a Newcastle last week, that was my last BEER, but had a few glasses of Egg Nog tonight.....with the obligitory booze added of course. BTW, I'm almost 22, so I'm legal.
RBOrrell Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 We just returned from a Royal Caribbean cruise of the south Caribbean. The last port of call was Bridgetown, Barbados. After spending the previous days going to beaches and shops, I wanted to do something different. We booked ourselves on the Banks Brewery and Mount Gay Rum Factory tours. After a quick tour of the Banks brewery, it was off to the hospitality hut out front. Thinking we would get samplers, to my surprise they offered as many full bottles of their products that you could carry. They even provided plastic bags to carry it back to the ship. So, I was able to consume a number of Banks Beers. After the beer, we went to the rum plant where you are given rum punch and then samples after the tour. Of course when they charge $8.00 for a bottle of their rum at the retail shop, they can afford to give a lot away. Banks Beer - Bridgetown, Barbados
CoasterFanatic Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 Some quick beer thoughts from my weekend trip: Beer: Sam Adams Winter Lager Location: Sam Adams Brewhouse (PIT) Thoughts: Crappy infested lines make for sh**ty beer! Beer: Jack's Pumpkin Spice Ale Location: Sea World Hospitality House Thoughts: Not much Pumpkin. Not Much Spice. Very mild aftertaste and a pretty decent tasting beer.
Coaster Palooza Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 We had a couple at Gordon Biersch at the airport and at Hard Rock Cafe I drank Sam Adams Oktoberfest. I liked the Oktoberfest. I had it last year too. Gordon Biersch at the San Jose airport during our 2 and a half hour delay!
Dark Vampire Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 The last beer I drank was Hoegaarden. Belgium beer is the best.

DerekRx Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 Last night at our company Christmas party they had an open bar. Sadly, no one liked my suggestions as far as beer went. Ended up with Coors Lite and Yuengling lager on tap, and Corona, Heineken, Molsen Golden, Bud Lite, and Budweiser in bottles. I chose to celebrate Canadian style. An amaretto sour, buttery nipple, white Russian, lemon drop, 2 jager bombs, and 3 of these later I was doing the worm.
