BarryH Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 My friends and I invaded Dutch Wonderland last year and here is the video of the wackiness. We did the after 5 pm special admission of $18 and conquered the park in 3 hours. We missed the dive show -- darn! We had lots of fun with the "Lady Gay tugboat." That being said, there could be things in the video that may be offensive to some. I apologize in advance to all the homosexuals out there (sorry Tommy ). Everyone else -- turn it up! You can download the video here: http://s28.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=12RTN8IGX3YAM0EKE5UQ1E8PWM
robbalvey Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 Oh, boy..... Dave, now you can finally see what we were talking about all through the Europe trip! --Robb "The infamous video is ALIVE!!!" Alvey
BarryH Posted August 6, 2005 Author Posted August 6, 2005 Also of note...I entered it into the video contest and it didn't win. Dangnabit! Maybe I should habe slipped the judges an extra $20.
DenDen Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 I didn't know they had a ride named after me! I see a special trip is in order. Very cute, even for us home-a-sek-shoes.
BarryH Posted August 6, 2005 Author Posted August 6, 2005 ^ Oh, it won alright! Que? I didn't see it on the list as a finalist. Anyway, I think I will dress up as the Lady Gay Captain for MNSSHP. Look at my avatar for part of the costume. Then I will have a name tag that says "Hello my name is: Captain of the Lady Gay." Do you suppose I can find a Princess hat at WDW? I hear they're hard to find. You can't find one Princess shop there! BTW, I am not gay, but I play one on TV.
kenshinmac Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 lol... What is that an even cheaper Vekoma MadHouse? Seriously that should have been the source of many a joke...
AllisonY2K Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 uhhhhhh. that video was......nice. Barry I think you would make a fabulous princess.
robbalvey Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 I can't believe more people aren't commenting on this!!!!
Meteornotes Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Um, wow...that's five minutes of my life I'll never get back. And I'm going to need therapy to get that song out of my head. But at least it had Dock POV... dt
CoasterJunkie Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 I am going to rather close to Dutch Wonderland in September..I was thinking of skipping it because I didnt think there was anything worthwhile there. Now I see there is both a credit, and the LADY GAY!!! AWESOME VIDEO!! Maybe I will take a look..I have some time to kill on a Sunday on my way back home to Wildwood, maybe I will stop at Dutch Wonderland instead of Great Adventure like I had originally planned..
SharkTums Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 ^2 Credits btw, way to go scarring a child for life!
CoasterJunkie Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Oh hell 2 credits...I am so there...I cant believe I grew up in NJ and have never been to Dutch Wonderland.. Of course I did go to a place called Storybook Land in NJ...I dont even know if it exists anymore. It had a kiddie coaster though!!
Sir Clinksalot Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Uhm ... Wow!! Yeah. I'm with Dave. 5 minutes I will never get back. Gregg "Bring on the Crazy Train video" C.
YoshiFan Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Oh hell 2 credits...I am so there...I cant believe I grew up in NJ and have never been to Dutch Wonderland.. Of course I did go to a place called Storybook Land in NJ...I dont even know if it exists anymore. It had a kiddie coaster though!! Storybook Land still is open, in fact they are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year and it still gets crowds (every time I drive by it, parking is in the overflow lot). I never got a chance to get the credit there since unless they had an old coaster years ago, the coaster they have now (Bubbles, http://www.rcdb.com/pd927.htm) opened after the last time I was there in 2000.
crispy Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005  , Um, wow Well, let see, it had Cher, the first CCI, and the Lady Gay, fun

This was before I knew what "coaster credit" was.
BarryH Posted August 9, 2005 Author Posted August 9, 2005 I'm surprised that when R&E visited Dutch Wonderland, they didn't make any comments or take any photos of the Lady Gay! Surely that could have been a plethora of jokes for them!
BarryH Posted August 9, 2005 Author Posted August 9, 2005 ^2 Credits btw, way to go scarring a child for life! The two credits are: The Sky Princess The Joust Me, scar a kid for life? You mean Chris, the kid with the glasses? We already scarred him in It's a Small World, ha ha.
Jew Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 I'm surprised that when R&E visited Dutch Wonderland, they didn't make any comments or take any photos of the Lady Gay! Surely that could have been a plethora of jokes for them! Probably because it isn't very funny...but you're video is.
Homey G. Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 Someone host this, the site only allows 25 downloads.
robbalvey Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 If Barry puts it back up, I'll host it for everyone to see!
