cedarpointfangirl
For anyone thats looking for hotel advice for the "Bash" I used Pricelines "name your own price" again this year. I got the Valencia Hyatt for $55 a night for two people. It came to $69 a night with the tax. Looks to be about 2 miles from MM. Last year I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for about the same price. Nice upgrade in hotels for this year!
robbalvey
^ That's actually a very nice hotel too! It's about 5 minutes walking distance to our apartment! --Robb
cosmic hearse
Hey Robb, I had a quick question on the optional dinner for Six Flags. Since tickets are almost sold out do you have a better idea of where the dinner might be? Thanks in advance!
robbalvey
^ I don't actually. This is something that is being put on by the park and I haven't been given too much information about it other than it will be a different menu from the lunch and they want to try to do something "special" for the group. --Robb
G-Force!
Maybe this has been asked, but when will a confirmation be sent if you made a payment by mail? I was just curious because I sent mine last Friday and still haven't seen or heard anything. Should this be something to be worried about or is it just being held onto for the time being? Thanks
robbalvey
I wouldn't worry too much. I'm sure it's here. In fact, it might even be sitting in the pile of mail on my desk that I just haven't had the time to go through in the past 3 days!
G-Force!
Ha! I see mine right there. I guess that clears up my question.

Brandon4579
Quick question, will the shirts be sent by mail, or will we pick them up at the event?
robbalvey
It's part of the event packet that you'll pick up the day of the event. --Robb

robbalvey
^ Yes, no problem. Just register like you normally would and put their name in the comments box with "Guest of...your name" and it will be fine. --Robb
J man
^Actually now that I think about it I may have registered all of my guests under my name. I hope that's not a problem. I didn't buy 4 tickets all for myself obviously.
robbalvey
^ That's fine. We'll figure it out if we need to. Don't worry everyone! --Robb

FitchCoaster
I'm so glad it didn't sell out this week! Didn't have money for it up until now, so I was pretty nervous about it selling out before I had a chance to register... but it didn't! I'm finally all registered for my first West Coast Bash, and absolutely can't wait. Very, very excited.
dannerman
Just a tip from anyone who might be flying out of Newark on Continental who haven't booked a flight yet... I just booked my flight, and found that it was about $60 cheaper to fly out at 7pm on Thursday night than Friday morning. Especially travelling with 3, that's more than $175 cheaper! We still come out ahead counting an extra night at a hotel and rental car, plus we get an extra day on vacation
KellieJeffries
Wow - looks like it will be a blast--prices seem reasonable even if you aren't season ticket holders. I hope I will be LA that week so I can go!
dannerman
One other thing... I will have room for 1 person in the hotel room/rental car if anyone needs a room and transportation to make the trip work. You'd be looking at about $25/day for your share of the rental car and hotel room (plus gas once we're out there). PM me if you need it and I'm sure we can work something out. Skycoastin Steve
So how much is the add-on for pancakes and strippers?
SharkTums
^Only $10, but I should warn you, I'm cooking the pancakes and KT runs around topless...that's pretty much the extent of Pancakes and Strippers!
