AllisonY2K Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 When your feet are dragging, your worn out, but you need to keep on going for several more hours until you can finally collapse into bed, what do you drink to keep yourself going? water? soda? tea? juice? energy drinks? After reading several of your TRs I always ask myself "how do they have the energy for this?" so I thought I would ask.
Sir Clinksalot Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 In the morning ... Coffee. In the afternoon ... Coffee. Generally a non-fat Extreme Ice Blended from Coffee Bean. Or a Coffee Light Frapacino from Starbucks. In the evening ... Coffee. Same as above. I have been known in the past to get a Hansens energy drink or a Bawls energy drink. I hate Red Bull.
Homer Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Only one body fuel; Mountain Dew... (it used to be Surge, stupid Coke)
redunzelizer Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 TEA At any time, which i personally in common refer to as "Track Enhancement Accelerator", since i'm into mangling coaster track calculations for NoLimits in times. ( hint: http://nldc.interfix.net/p577 ) redunzelizer Ah, yes, almost forgot. Just in case: yet more TEA!
pvcoasterguy Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 I don't know... nothing really makes me get more energy. Soda just doesn't do anything, nor does tea or coffee. Orange juice does a little. However, water seems to make me have a little more energy; probably just because it's my drink of choice. I get Target brand water for less than $.17/bottle. It's cheap and tastes really good (like Aquafina.) Water is my drink of choice. Strange, but it's the best for me. (I guess other than Green Tea which supposedly is really super healthy.)
SLUSHIE Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Caffene really hos no effect on me, so I have to go for the heavy stuff. I had a Rockstar today before class, and all it did was make me more tired.
Wes Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 The blood of innocent children. I stay awake for WEEKS.
downunder Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 pure determination to make the most of my visit, and if that doesn't work - no doz or coke.
RtherBOnACoaster Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 I drink soda and hot coco to stay awake. I hate tea, I think it tastes like hay. I dont like cofee either and I hate to support Starbucks but I have at DFW airport and by my house.
SonOfBeastSucks Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 STARBUCKS! I have something from Starbucks with me in all hours of the day and I'm never tired so I guess it works!
ChrisZer0 Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Nothing gets me up and running like good ol fashion crystal meth with a big red and filterless camel chaser Chris "All My Teets Are Rottin Out" Zer0
KrakenKing Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Sobe Energy Drink... they're delicious and energizing! Oh, also, this crap I get at a gas station on I-Drive in Orlando... Called "Wasps" or something... It says not to take more than 3 in a day (Yet it comes in a pack of four?) ... my friend and I each took two at once, big mistake, we were jittering for then next 4 hours. It was In The Groove on speed! We did get good scores though (In the 90%'s for mostly all of them) I have no clue what was in those pills, I'll find out next time I go.
Scaparri Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Red Bull! I actually wish they made a regular soda that had the same taste 'cause over the years I've really grown to like. If I'm not really tired, then I usually will just stick to Mountain Dew.
ChrisZer0 Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 I swear...whats it with mountain dew?!?! I could never stand the taste as a kid (makes me gag) loodshot:
