Guest Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 For the past half a lifetime or so, no one else can or could touch XTC as my favorite...before I found them I didn't have a favorite band, and their status as number one hasn't changed since (by comparison, my number one coaster has changed four or five times during that period).  Of course, XTC hasn't released a new album in years, so there are plenty of other honorable mentions:  They Might be Giants Moxy Fruvous "Weird Al" Yankovic Beatles (I'm a little suspicious of anyone who doesn't like at least one Beatles song) Yazbek The Grays Jason Falkner Jon Brion Tom Lehrer Ben Folds (Five) Squeeze Dogs Die in Hot Cars Franz Ferdinand R.E.M.
