cfc Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 ^Watch The Spy Who Loved Me, instead. Moonraker sucks.
bbomser Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 I see him and have to think about Happy Gilmore as well.
Nrthwnd Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 RIP Paul Revere (of the band Raul Revere & The Raiders)

larrygator Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Jack Bruce - One of the best things to ever come out of Sctoland http://www.cnn.com/2014/10/25/showbiz/cream-jack-bruce-bass/index.html
cal1br3tto Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 ^Too bad. Cream is an awesome band--and, of course, very influential. I "hear" them in some of my favorite early hard rock and heavy metal songs.
gisco Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 ^Sad, she died of breast cancer. Only 66 years old.

Godwyn Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Carol Ann Susi, aka Mrs. Wolowitz, from Big Bang Theory.
cal1br3tto Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 ^Not Howie's mom! Okay, so I didn't necessarily love the character, but how sad that the real person behind her died too young.
cfc Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Carol Ann Susi, aka Mrs. Wolowitz, from Big Bang Theory. She was also Monique Marmelstein on the short-lived cult series Kolchak: The Night Stalker in the 1970s.
Nrthwnd Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 RIP Marion Knott. Youngest daughter of the founders of Knott's Berry Farm.
Nrthwnd Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 RIP Mike Nichols. Stage/Film DIrector of The Graduate, Catch-22, The Birdcage among others.
Philrad71 Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 ^^That stinks...while I love the Beatles original version of "With A Little Help From My Friends", the Joe Cocker version still gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. RIP Joe.
Nrthwnd Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 ^ They just played it again on my radio station. Still honestly, the one with hair raising power. And McCartney loved it too, apparently.
bert425 Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Ed Hermann, best known for "Gilmore Girls" (and "Lost Boys" if you are in your 40's) has passed. http://www.tmz.com/2014/12/31/edward-herrmann-dead-gilmore-girls/
Nrthwnd Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 ^ Just saw this. A really versatile actor. We enjoyed him in "Lost Boys", as one of the best things in that movie. And various appearances in other films and tv shows, etc. He will be missed. And I would have loved to have seen him live onstage in a play.
Nrthwnd Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 RIP Donna Douglas. I actually got to meet her after The Hillbillies had been over, up here during a convention I went to. Charming woman with a voice you had no idea she had, based on what you knew of Elly May, right? I always want to remember her as TV's first real sex symbol, lol! To heck with Ginger and Mary Ann! Or Anna and Elsa! And before Julie Newmar's Catwoman, too!
