Sleep Walking

Recommended Posts

Apparently I slept walked last night. I got up about 1:00, went downstairs, did something, then came back upstairs and went to bed. My mom happened to be awake and saw me returning to bed. All I remember is standing at the top of the stairs and then walking past her. I remember her asking me what I was doing but I mumbled something.

I forgot about it until she asked me this morning. All I remember is the top of the stairs part. I think I might have been looking for something but I can't think of what it would have been.

I used to sleep walk as a little kid but I thought you were supposed to grow out of it! I'm going off to college in the fall, I can't afford to be wandering around the ninth story of my dorm!

Anybody got any sleep-walking stories? It's creepy but incredibly hilarious at the same time.

I used to sleep walk all the time as a kid. My parents would often get up and find that I had turned on all the lights, they also caught me on my way out the front door once.

My brothers though found it more funny to torment me. Once, I slept walk into the family room and mumbled to my brother to give me some chips. When he offered some to me, I said no and went back to bed. He came in and threw some of them over me. I woke up in the morning confused as to why there were chips all over my bed.

Another time my brothers figured out that I'd do whatever they said while sleep walking. So they had me put on my winter jacket and sleep underneath my bed. (that was in the middle of July).

As far as I know I haven't sleep walked since I was like 10.

My most recent one that I can remember was a couple years ago. I got out of bed, walked into the living room, turned on the TV and sat down in the chair, and there I stayed for the rest of the night.

One of the funnier ones I did was as a kid, I got out of bed and tryed to poop in the bathtub.

I don't sleepwalk as much now as I used to, but I still act out my dreams in my sleep, and sometimes even feel my dreams. Like recently, I had a dream I was riding a B&M hyper, not saying which one though, and I even felt the positive gs and airtime.

Ive actually hurt myself sleepwalking. I got up in the middle of the night and grabbed a knife and started cutting at my arm thinking it was a ham but then woke up screaming in pain. I had 3 long(but thank god not deep) cuts in my arm. You should of seen the look on my moms face when she saw me holding a knife with 3 long cuts in my arm. First it was like.. then it was like then it was like

Oh man, do I have a funny one.

Okay so when I was little (like 8) I was scared of the dark and the bathroom was right next to my room, so I always left the light on (so I could see in my room and see in the bathroom for when I had too do my midnight peeing.) Well my sister had a sleepover and she was like 12 or 13 and she had a queen sized bed in her room so they all (about 4 people) slept in that bed (all 12 and 13 of course. ) And one of the sleepover-people decides that the light is annoying and turns it off, and goes back to my sisters room, and turns on that light while they PARTY thru the night, well they go to bed but they don't turn off the light, and my bathroom light is off, so I sleepwalk on over to my sisters room (because the light is on and I guess I was somewhat awake thats why I knew just follow the light.) And just slipped of my bottoms and WHIZZED ALL OVER HER AND HER FRIENDS, they screamed and woke up my parents, and my mom started yelling at me, and I still wasn't awake, so I just put on my bottoms and walked back to bed and went back to sleep. My mom figured it out pretty quickly, but I didn't hear about it till' the next morning, and it was pretty freakin' hilarious too, and this 1 girl I peed on hit her face.

This is a true story, no lie!

I don't have any other good stories though....

^ I swear to you dude, it happened. I don't have an imagination to come up with stories like that and yes "why would someone lie about that anyways." But again I swear its totally true, you can ask my mom on the phone, or my sister the one I peed on!

(dont really call me. )

I used to sleep walk a lot when I was younger and I still sleep walk from time to time.

I was at camp one year and my friend stole the bottom bunk, which left me with the top bunk. Well apparently I thought I was on the bottom bunk so when I started to sleep walk that night I got up and hit my head on one of the overhead beams and fell all the way down to the concrete floor. My friends tried to make sure I was ok but I just stood up and climbed back up into bed. Dang that morning when I finally woke up I had a huge gash in my forehead and my arm was really hurting from the fall. I was like "what the heck happened?" lol

Another more scary time was when I used to live in the dorms. I guess I walked out the door of my dorm, all the way down the hall way and out the dorm itself. From there I walked out into the parking lot where I tried to start my car. I woke up when I heard my radio blasting. From then on I try to leave my keys with someone else before I go to sleep. Luckily, I don't sleep walk too much now a day unless I get really stressed out about something.

I'm not sure if I sleepwalk that often, but I occasionally wake up where I didn't fall asleep. I've woken up on my parent's bed (when they weren't home), on the couch in my living room, the couch in my basement, next to my bed, and at the dining room table. I also once fell asleep standing up in the shower, but I didn't fall.

I sleep walk fairly often. Usually when I am over tired, or lack of sleep. The last time I sleep walked was Jan of 08 at DLR. In the Disneyland hotel, woke up from the futon (yeah tallest in the family gets the tiny futon to sleep on), walked to the bathroom, grabbed the camera off the table and took a picture with flash (at 2am) of the room, put it down and crawled over the arm of the futon and fell asleep again.

My mom thought I was sleep walking this morning.....I wasn't. I was trying to sneak up on her. She was still awake when I got up for work. I quietly walked down the hallway, but she heard me. She called my name but I didn't say anything. When she stopped, I slowly reached around the wall and turned off her light and scared her.

A long time ago, I did sleep walk. I had a butter bowl for when I changed the fishes water. I guess one night I had to use the restroom and instead of using the toilet, I used the butter bowl and didn't miss. I have quite an aim apparently!.

I use to sleep pee all the time when I was younger!

But once it went horribly wrong!

I got out of bead for my nightly half asleep piss. I usually was able to tell I was at the toilet when my legs hit the pot of gold. But it so happen that I ran in to my toy chest... Lifted up the lid... and let the water flow!

Then the next day I was crying because I had to throw away all of my stuffed animals!

I had also sleep walked into my back yard and started yelling "Were is everyone!" then my mum had to come get me and put me back to sleep!
