robbalvey Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 ^ Yeah. After the season of TPR trips are over any of our "TPR Candies" that we have left I put them in with orders. But we only add those in post-September if we have them left. --Robb
Team Thriller Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 I too have my pen! I just don't use it cause I don't want to loose it. I would pay 20 dollars for a bag of twenty of the pens. I also love the magnets! But that kinda off subject. Go PENS! --James
BeemerBoy Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 ^ Wait, magnets? I'm putting in my formal request for a TPR magnet, stat. Also, an important update: I've found my pen!! It was on a co-worker's desk. I threatened to key their car if it wasn't returned. That seemed to work well. I'm now writing with confidence and pride once again. Thanks, TPR!
robbalvey Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Magnets are all gone, sorry! (As are the letter openers!) If you have any of these two items, it's a collectible! --Robb
FeelTheFORCE Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Go PENS! Yeah, go Pens! I hope they win the Stanley cup this year. Oh wait, wrong Pens!
Emiroo Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 If anyone out there has a TPR magnet, I'd gladly trade one of my TPR Pens (Yellow) and a TPR Chapstick as well! PM me if interested.
BeemerBoy Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 ^^^ My refrigerator and my heart are both saddened by this unfortunate news.
robbalvey Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 ^ We did them as an extra goodie for TPR trips one year and then gave away the extras. We always do a "TPR Personalized" item for just about every trip. We've done mangets, candies, TPR alarm clocks (yes clocks!), TPR bags, TPR panchos, etc, etc.... Basically if you do a TPR trip you'll get loaded up with TPR goodies! --Robb "We do save a lot of stuff exclusively for the trips." Alvey
Louise Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Hey BeemerBoy, I have TWO TPR magnets, so one of them is technically "spare"... What's it worth to ya? Make me a deal. ...candies... I totally read this as candLes and got sooooo excited and jealous!!! I think candles should be next!
ebl Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 "Yeah that Red-Lettered Pen is a collectors item!" (SharkTums) Of course, that's the one I lost. For whatever reason, I seem to remember seeing one with green writing, which is why I asked about other colors. But I was mistaken. Eric
StealthFan Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 I think candles should be next! I think TPR perfume should be next! I can see it now. "TPR proudly presents Odour de Robb. Yes thats right YOU can now smell like the one and only Robb Alvey for a meer $35!!!!"
ebl Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 ^^ No offense to Robb, but I already smell like...me. That's bad enough. Eric
Team Thriller Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 So I have two collectible: The red lettered TPR pen and the magnet. I will trade the magnet and my pen for a clock! I totally need that. --James
ebl Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 My brain "storms" at interesting times...a bit off-topic, but I thought of a new TPR item: Sugar free "Dan"dies. For the diabetics among us (well, myself included). And they'll come packaged with a TPR pen. Eric
SharkTums Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 LOL! There are tons of items I've considered over the years, and TPR Deodorant did come up! One of my favorite TPR Goodies is our lip balms! We've had several flavors and cap colors over the years and I got another new one for this years trips! Robb you also forgot about the TPR Fans!! Those were a godsend in Spain!!! We have cool TPR Swag...and it keeps getting better!
Louise Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 One of my favorite TPR Goodies is our lip balms! We've had several flavors and cap colors over the years and I got another new one for this years trips! Robb you also forgot about the TPR Fans!! Those were a godsend in Spain!!! THERE'S A NEW FLAVOUR?!?!?! Those fans were amazing. Not that I ever carried mine around (I don't carry anything I don't have to around parks) but I stole other peoples' a few times and they were really good! I was totally baffled by how such flimsy little "blades" could create so much breeze!
Crazy4Coasters! Posted April 2, 2009 Author Posted April 2, 2009 Hmmmm how much would it cost to buy the old SFMM gift shop building next to the 5 freeway? A TPR novelty store seems like a good fit especially with a Donkey as the marquee sign for the store!
ChrisZer0 Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Wow, sounds like yous guys have a cottage industry on pens, lip baum, shirts, hoodies, DVDs and Eau De Robb Pit Gravy (For The Manly Bear In All Of Us). I wonder what else the marketing genuses at TPR Industries will come up with next??
Team Thriller Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 How about a Theme Park Review Soda! (Or some kind of drink) Maybe Theme Park Review Bottled Water. That would be nice on hot days at the parks. --James
ChrisZer0 Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 How about a Theme Park Review Soda! (Or some kind of drink) Maybe Theme Park Review Bottled Water. That would be nice on hot days at the parks. --James Perhaps TPR brand Vodka in Water Bottles, now thats an idea!!
SharkTums Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 I did look into doing TPR Water! Like our own private label, but it was a lot of money. I'm all for cool TPR Swag, but I'm not going to pay (or then have to charge) a lot more for it...know what I mean? Like the TPR Lip Balms I was able to get at a really decent price, only a little more then just getting a regular ChapStick at the store. But the water bottles were like five times the price of a normal bottle of water! And yes Lou...NEW FLAVO(U)R!!!!
Volt Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 ^ OMG, there is TPR Lip Balm?! If it works just like regular ChapStick ......... I WANT IT!!!
