Unfortunately, a lot of the CS makers have pulled the plug on their sites, or posted them to Download sites and the links have been pulled.

Your best bet is to hope someone here has it, and can send it to you. Or ask at the Atari Forums.

^ I don't have that one. Is there another set you can use?

I may start populating the Exchange with this stuff. None of these scenery guys ever got back to me.

Sorry to bother everyone again but does anyone have any of the following custom scenery...

- Osudenny parks Entrances and stalls

- Compressed Air's Rusty Roads Speedway Scenery.

- Osudenny Fountain Pack 2.

Would be great. Thanks.

Hello

I am having a problem with running rct3 on my wife's computer it keeps crashing mid game randomly. But the game works fine on my pc. Her system specs are an AMD Athlon XP 3200+, 1 gig ram, G-Force FX5200, and a Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS platnum. My system is an AMD Athlon 64 3200+, 1 gig ram, ATI xpress 200, and a Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS platnum.

Similar pcs the game works fine on mine and crashes mid game on hers. I'm stuck using hers till I get a monitor and a newer video card for mine.No cs Installed fresh copy. Please help.

The crash dump reads

I remember having a railroad station set that was all in German. Think it was called U-Bahn or had something similar. It was on RCT-Theme-World, but that site is down and even when it was up the link had disappeared.

Thanks!

Ok, practically every time I get on RCT3 now it does a crash dump. I mean, it's happened before every so often, but now it happens almost every time. I really need to keep working on my park, but this is just getting worse. Anyone know what I can do to try to stop this?

I'm on a Windows 7 partition of a MacBook Pro. I'm sure it would probably work better on a full Windows computer, but my family is all Mac...

EDIT: Now its saying that Soaked! isn't installed, so it won't even let me on my game. Really getting fed up here!

Maybe you have too much custom scenery on there. I would maybe suggest taking some unimportant CS folders out of the RCT3 folder and try again. But don't delete the CS on the desktop or wherever you keep it.

Since that website with the massive list of custom scenery has now gone. I'm having trouble finding CS packs. Does anyone know or have the dueling Dragons Set with the two Dragons?

Spend the extra money, and buy a copy of RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Platinum. It's worth it. You'll have a fresh copy of the game, and I can confirm to you that it works flawlessly on a Windows 7 Mac partition, with an exception being all custom scenery installers need to be rerouted to the "Program Files (x86)" folder.

HOWEVER...if you want to keep all of your custom scenery and rides, make a backup of those folders before you uninstall the original game.

As a refresher for custom content locations -

Scenery - Style > Themed

Flat rides - Style > Custom

Tracked rides - Tracks > TrackedRides

Cars for those rides - Cars > TrackedRideCars

I have been furiously struggling with importing my own music .

So far, I have: Put the files into the "RCT3" file in Music

Put the files into the "Music" file in the game's hard drive location with the other music

Put the files in both locations at the same time

I had never in the past had this problem and I had, in fact, put in some music before, but now even the music that I had put in before doesn't work. I DO have the "import music from My Music" box ticked in the game's options. The names of the songs will appear in the drop-down menu of the "ride music" box, but when selected, they will not play. All other in-game music runs fine. The files are .mp3 files (never had a problem with that before...), and I'm using a machine that runs Windows 7. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You are missing a folder. Be sure to save your Path folder as well. Some of us (me included) have been making custom paths for the game.

You have to do the same thing that you do with pictures and billboards. RCT3 looks for a "My Music" folder like it looks for a "My Pictures" folder.

^Perhaps I am more computer inept than I thought...

The music is within the RCT3 folder. I've never had this problem before. It's just very... frustrating when my computer does this to me.

That's really interesting.

Windows 7 does in fact have "My _______" folders.

I think the problem is that RCT3 looks for the folder in C: > Documents and Settings > Your name > My Music (which is the Windows XP routing), and you need it to look for the folder in C: > Users > Your name > My Music.

You'd have to use the command prompt (cmd.exe). I haven't done the change since I got my Macbook Pro, which was about eight months ago, so I don't entirely remember. Let me see if I can find a good tutorial on Youtube of the Pictures folder re-routing.
