Great question Will!

Unfortunately, the trivia scantrons were not saved.

Jen or any other member of Team 24, do you recall which question you answered incorrectly?

That pretzel loop is the best part. I always take the back because of the cement block on the head feel. That is so funny about the Goliath vomit! I barely saved my wife from stepping in it.

I've rode it in the front row and the last row and there's definitely a difference between that gaps. Riding in the front row going through the pretzel loop feels like if an average person is standing on your head... In the last row it pretty much feels like a 757's front tires are sitting on your head.

Closing my eyes in the pretzel loop helps to take some of the discomfort out of it; the same thing works during the Helix of Death on Goliath.

Of course, closing my eyes at certain times also keeps Jet Stream water out of my face while riding Ninja

As someone who has been known to do Tatsu marathons - 5 straight rides on one visit back in Jan. and 6 total rides this past Monday, I can vouch for both EBL's and Crazy4Coaster's points.

I nearly blacked out once during the pretzel loop from the back row and it was sprinkling to boot. I'm not picky about which row I sit in so I tend to line up wherever is shortest and if it's the back or the one before the back, so be it. However, if I end up there, I usually close my eyes during the loop and also take 2 deep breaths as the train approaches it.

Unfortunately, the trade off for being in either of the first 2 rows is that you just hang there while waiting for the rest of the train to clear the lift. I'm not a fan of that so those aren't ideal seats, at least in my opinion.

Thank you for posting the scores and the picture of the plaque. There was a lot of work put into that scava-ganza and we appreciated it.

It looks like everyone had an awesome time! I hope I can make it to next year's WCB. It'll be my first coaster event ever, and I'm already excited!

I'm looking forward to seeing the group photo shot before the Q&A session...unless it's already up and I missed it.

I didn't black out on Tatsu on Sunday, but I have before. And both times before, I was in the back seat.

It's weird that I have heard a lot of chatter about B&M being forceless, yet every single B&M I've ridden has been forceful as all hell. Tatsu, however, is the only one to black me out.

Sincerely,

R.C.

^ I have to admit Silver Bullet actually does not have any forceful parts, and the final helix doesn't do the trick either. The closest thing to the awesome B&M force I've ever felt on that ride is the overbanked turn.

Posted

^ Actually, while it doesn't pack the punch that Batman---The Ride does, I find that Silver Bullet does indeed have a couple of spots where some strong forces are definitely there.

True, the first drop is rather wimpy, but on every ride I've taken, I get some airtime on the overbanked turn after the first loop as well as on the "S" turn between the two corkscrews. And, of course, that final helix gives some good forces in my opinion, though certainly nothing like the helix on Goliath at SFMM.

I think it was posted, unless that was a different shot?

"Would you like to make a donation to the Church Of Religious Consciousness?"

"No thanks, I gave at the office."

Win.

All that ERT? Mr. Alvey, what unspeakable things did you have to do to convince the comedy trio to keep 14 coasters open?!

Goliath is the only ride I ever felt like I was going to black out on. But riding X2 after eating all those donuts was the first time I have ever had a sick feeling on a ride. Thanks donuts. You made me realize I wouldn't be able to eat while riding on a coaster. Something I have been wondering lately.

Also the beginning to Tatsu doesn't scare me as much after going on Insanity in Vegas a month ago. So that sucks as well. Had to post to test out my new avatar.

Thanks for the update! Your camera actually exposed the devil inside of me, because every picture of me on the last page shows my red eyes.

Seriously we had so much fun that day and the group we had for nighttime ERT was an eclectic mix to say the least!

Nice official photo update.

Justin, can you post that pic up of Heath and I in here when we saw you and Ted at the X2 line entry? That would be most awesome, I think that's the only picture we were in all day cause we are ninjas, great beer drinking ninjas.

I had to worry about this photo, hopefully they aren't trying to recreate Son of Beast. That "kink" looks like it could really hurt!!
