I just registered for 4 people Can't wait for it.

One thing that would be awesome though would be ERT or at least a ride on Percy's Engine I'm sure everyone (including me) would love to finally get that credit!

Unfortunately it is park rules which I'm sure WCB can't break

^ Not just park rules. From what I understand, it's a manufacturer's spec as well. Percy was made by Bradley and Kaye, and was not designed for adults to ride.

Timberline Twister at Knott's is also a Bradley and Kaye ride, but it can accommodate adults up to 5'-9". I have that credit because I'm 5'-8".

I have that credit too, but from a LONG time ago. I remember trying to get into it at a Solace 5 or so years ago. And there are some quite funny pictures of me trying to do so. I know they were on WC, but not sure if anybody still has them.

Question: are there vegetarian options for breakfast and lunch? Some of my friends are vegetarian, and they wanted to know.

I'm sure there will be, yes.

Regarding Percy's Railway/Goliath Jr./Wile E. Coyote Coaster/Clown Coaster, I read something recently that Newhall Land & Farming picked that ride up from some local kiddie park when Magic Mountain was built, and that it dates back to the late '40s. Very interesting, I thought. Unfortunately, I can't remember where I read that---could have been Screamscape.

Anyway, I'm going to do some more research on this.

Two weeks and change till the Bash...I'm looking forward to it.

Cool I got my conformation today and I am glad to know everything is set. Oh and since I am only twelve do you think I could get the Percy the Small Engine credit? This event is going to be so cool see you there!

I always assumed people taller than 48" couldn't ride because the cars don't have any upstop wheels. Canyon blaster doesn't either but it has an upstop bar. I believe percy just runs on a rail. Like the side frictions in Europe.

But of course I could always be wrong. Maybe the manufacturer has a better reason.

^ Even the Gold Rusher at SFMM has upstop bars instead of wheels.

Personally, I'd guess that the size of the cars is an issue, as is getting the bar down. Or maybe a combination of everything.

Yeah so I have been holding off posting until I was fairly sure everything was organized... I think that has happened now...

Really excited about this because this will be my first Six Flags Magic Mountain trip. I'm going to be all alone so I would love to wander with some other people. Sadly I won't be able to stay for the evening ERT... Responsibilities suck... But hey I'm gonna be there...

BTW should I be able to get all the credits that are open during the day? Will I want to do that?

Well I'm looking forward to meeting as many people as possible. See you all there!

Shouldn't be a problem at all.

The two biggest lines are X2 and Tatsu, which you will get multiple rides on in the morning most likely. Plus, whatever is planned for Night ERT. But by the night ERT you will probably have all credits.

It should be a pretty slow day at the park. Last year most of us managed to get on all of the coasters within the operating day.

I think it might be more crowded this year. Last year was before the majority of spring breaks had begun.

Not that it matters too much. You can always get X2 and Tatsu at ERT in the morning and get the rest by lunch. When the gates open to the public head counter clockwise from Goliath.

^ This year is also before most spring breaks begin. Daily park operation starts the day after WCB, but I don't see the park getting too crowded till more into April.

Being at SFMM for up to 16 hours should guarantee plenty of rides on everything that's open. Plus we have ERT before and after park hours.

It was earlier last year, this year it is at the beginning of most schools spring break(s). I would guess it will be more crowded than last year. Hopefully I'm wrong... But yes, you should easily be able to do all the coasters.

Hi Gregg! Hope you are going and we can meet up...

Speaking of beer....

Where are the places to get it in the park and do they offer anything decent besides Bud or Bud Lite? With all that coaster riding, I'm bound to get parched at some point!
