IStillPlayRCT2 Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Well yesterday, I was sitting and class and all of a sudden someone yelled "It's snowing!". It's definatey a rare thing for it to snow here, we had snow in '04 but it was very light, yesterday was alot. Well, it was cool to see snow, it was only my second time seeing it, the only thing is is that it stopped within 3 hours and melted by nighttime.
coasterdude5 Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 That's awesome, I bet it'd be a cool sight to see.
astroworldfan1 Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Yep! It snowed in Thibodaux, LA too! My teacher let us leave the classroom to go outside and enjoy a rare sight for our town! -Tatum
Disney Dood Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 We've only had it snow twice. That huge, disastrous ice storm didn't hit me, that's 20 miles from here. We got flooding instead. Each time it snowed, it was gone in ten minutes.
coastercrazy216 Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 On 12/10/08, it snowed in Houston, TX. There was enough snow for a few snowballs!
stingrock23 Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 It's amazing, it snowed on Thursday for about 3 hours, today it was 75 degrees. The weather here is just so screwy.
HEADCHEEZ Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 It snowed in Vegas today! I will post pictures in a new thread once I get movie maker to work.
andre8 Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Yeah, in Vegas we got some snow. It was thin snow though. It just dropped as water.
Carnage Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 ^ Not always. Up here we would normally call very light snow frost.
mcjaco Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 It snowed in Vegas today! I will post pictures in a new thread once I get movie maker to work. Please don't start a new thread. We already have the weather thread.
TheBannedKid Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Hey Matt, it rained here in California. I'll make sure to document this rare occasion just for you!
BeemerBoy Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 ^ I've also got pics from when it snowed in Miami sometime back in the 70's. New thread?

Carnage Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 I can do a time lapse recording of the snow pile in my complex. It typically grows to about 20 feet tall by February. 1 pic per thread??
spaceace12 Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 We got about .1 inch of snow and more ice than I like. My parking area is like a ice skating rink. Where the speed limit is anywhere from 30-40, I was doing at most 29 and most of hte time 25. I only slid once while trying to turn onto the road I live on.
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 We got about 6 or so inches in Seabeck. (Its a little town accross the sound from Seattle, 13-16 or so miles from Bremerton) Washington winters aren't extreme blizzards, but there is always a little bit of snow and cold involved.
WFChris Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 It snowed in LAS VEGAS, NV yesterday!!! chris.
paintballer Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 It...Sleeted/Iced/Hailed in Texas, not fun..
