Are you good at school

Recommended Posts

Are you good at shcool, do you get good, average, or low grades. Also do you ever cause trouble or anything like that.

-Me, my final GPA was 2.2 :?

- on the last day of school, i put 5 stick bombs in the venting system. The smell went all the way down the hall way and in 6 class rooms. (imagine taking exams with your room smelling like a cows ass)

So............what are you like at school.

Wow ... school. What's that?

When I was in school I was about a 2.8 GPA until my Junior year when I got serious and went up to a 3.75 GPA for 11th and 12th grades. Unfortunately only 2 years of a high GPA didn't help me get into a good school. Why the hell does a 9th and 10th grader need to worry about college?

It wasn't that I didn't want to do good in school, I just HATED homework. I would ACE all my tests, but wouldn't turn in homework. No teacher ever explained to me why I still would get a "C" if I got 95% or better on each test including mid-terms and finals.

I mean, I studied for SAT's for exactly 1 day and pulled down a 1420. I'm not stupid ... well ... I'M NOT!!!

Now that I'm on the "other" side, I see it alot different. Thankfully both kids do very well in school, and enjoy doing well in school. I just hope it keeps up.

What is a GPA?

Anyway, in my summer exams I got:

C's - 2

B's - 9

A's - 5

In your case your GPA would be:

(5*4 + 9*3 + 2*2)/16 = 3.1875

Not Deans List or anything, but respectable.

Like Gregg, I was a slack-ass until my last two years of high school. 23 on my ACT for anyone who cares.[/code]

3.7 or 3.8 GPA (not sure, it hasn't been recalculated yet) at the end of my Junior year. I didn't work very hard in 9th or 10th grade, but I worked my ASS off during this past year and it paid off.

1350 on the SAT's and 30 on the ACT's, each with no studying. I could do better if I studied, but standardized tests will only get you so far (Unless you want to go to a state school!).

Junior high and my first 2 years at high school, I averaged between a 2.5-3.0. My last 2 semesters as a senior, I got a 4.0 only because there were fun 'kick-back' classes. As a student excluding grades, I've always behaved myself, perhaps a little too much. Honestly, if the class is full of idiots, they don't need any more as they have enough. Downfall to keeping to yourself around idiot students is that they give you a hard time.

Now, that I'm in college, I'm a quiet student again but there's more quiet students so I don't feel alone

Gradewise, I'm considered "Good-Standing" although I nearly bombed Political science first semester of college. I've only had to redo one class so far *knocks on wood*

I *think* I got 3.8 last year, because of a really hard math class. (The entire class was in agreement that the textbook was really difficult.) And I got a 4.0 this year. I don't study very much, except for grammar/language arts and Spanish. This year didn't seem very hard.

^^I'll explain.

The highest GPA you can get is a 4.0. But if you are taking honors classes, it could be weighted (or lifted) higher if you have an A in that honors class. You probably have a B- average which is pretty good. Here are the rankings.

4.0 or higher=A average

3.0-3.9=B average

2.0-2.9=C average

1.0-1.9=D average

0.0-0.9=F average

For the first semester I had a woeful 2.29 GPA. But I really amped it up and got less lazy on my homework so I luckily finished out the year at a 3.57.
