PKI Jizzman Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 It's awesome to keep hearing such great news and reviews about Kentucky Rumbler I can't wait to ride it in two weeks! The park opens at 5...so maybe I'll be able to get in a "day" ride...the rest will be at night
bigstevet07 Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 My season was really lame this year. I only got to WOF, (no way Timbercrap would be top 25), and I managed to get to Dania Beach 2 weeks ago while my wife had a conference in Miami. What happened to the Dania Beach Hurricane not being in the top 25? I thought that was a really awesome coaster. Lots of good airtime no matter where you sat, and it never let up on the speed the whole ride.
verticalzero Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 Very poor, only 2: 17: Colossos - Heide Park - rode in 2005 25: Megafobia - Oakwood - rode in 1998 I've heard rumors that "Megafobia" has become rough and is being re-tracked for the 2008 season.
RaptorBoyASU Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 Mine is lame....... 2 El Toro SFGAd 7 Phoenix Knoebel's I rank El Toro as my number one, but Phoenix is below Twister on my poll, and a lot of others that didn't make the top 25.
Fry Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 None At least I'm gonna rectify that next year.
exit english Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 The Voyage Holiday World Boulder Dash Lake Compounce Phoenix Knoebel's Raven Holiday World Shivering Timbers Michigan's Adventure Coaster Playland Cornball Express Indiana Beach 7 of them, not in really any order.
Nrthwnd Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 My view of the top 25: (I've been on 23 of them) Wow. That's neat (of sorts) your not having been on my home coaster up here. And it's one of two, huh? I look forward to the day - or that TPR Tour, heh heh - when I can hopefully join you and others, when you get your first ride on our dear old woodie - about to be 50 Years Old next year, too!
darklingscribe Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 Of the top 25 I've only been on eight. Here is how I personally would rank those eight. 1. Balder Liseberg 2. Kentucky Rumbler Beech Bend 3. The Voyage Holiday World 4. Cornball Express Indiana Beach 5. Raven Holiday World 6. Avalanche Timber Falls 7. Hades Mount Olympus 8. Megafobia Oakwood Now even though Elissa would hate me for saying this, Balder isn't my number one woodie, it's number three on my list. My two favorite woodies are not in the top 25. #1 is Cyclops at Mt. Olympus #2 is Thundercoaster at TusenFryd The only two woodies that managed to scared the crap out of me when I rode, also the only two woodies I would not dare keeping my hands up on. Even though I think Thundercoaster is more terrifying than Cyclops, it is rated below Cyclops because the only time I ever rode Thundercoaster was in the rain. From what people have told me Thundercoaster only turns into an insane ride when the track is wet while Cyclops's infamous drop is always batsh!t insane regardless of weather.
coreyml Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 1 The Voyage Holiday World my #1 overall 3 Thunderhead Dollywood my #3 woodie 9 Hades Mount Olympus sux, really it does 12 Avalanche Timber Falls my #2 overall 13 Raven Holiday World boo 18 Kentucky Rumbler Beech Bend should be below renegade 19 Renegade Valleyfair! should be above KR but its new
cycamps Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 #2: Millenium Force #5: Magnum XL-200 #9: Top Thrill Dragster #12: Raging Bull #13: Maverick #19: Raptor #23: Dueling Dragons
