mcjaco Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 Why did you bring back Thomas Jones and not try to make him lose his job to Benson? Ugh, Jerry Angelo is an idiot.
BeemerBoy Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 Bill Belichick just made the announcement. Brady tore his ACL and will require season ending surgery... Well, he could still hold the video camera.
alpengeist04 Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 Bill Belichick just made the announcement. Brady tore his ACL and will require season ending surgery... Well Simms might come over to the Pats for the QB position for the season. The Patriots playoff chances are very shaky now. Too bad, so sad. Anyway, darn Favre getting lucky on that second TD pass was the difference in the Dolphins/Jest game .
coaster05 Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 The Pats will still make the playoffs. The back up is fine and you still have Moss to throw to. Remember Culpepper with Moss and without him. Just play solid defense and give him time to grow, from what I remeber the Pats have a medium to easy schedule so play it safe and let him grow. Remember without a bledsoe injury Brady would have never played.
CoastersNSich Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 This week, Bengals tickets were going as low as $16. Even though the game is sold out, season ticket holders are already frustrated after the loss to Baltimore, but that may change if there's a home win vs. Titans on Sunday. Last time I heard there's still a good deal of below face value tickets available, though it's drawn interest of buyers who'd like to see a possibly exciting game. On the other hand, there aren't as good deals for games against Pittsburgh or Cleveland because their fans are everywhere, and will pay good money to see their favorite team(s).
spaceace12 Posted September 14, 2008 Author Posted September 14, 2008 Bengals..I mean Bungels got blown out 24-7. On the Other hand. Bears lost and the Colts won. Manning looked great in the second half. Hopefully his rust is gone!
coastercrazed49 Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Also Matt Cassell lead the Pats to a win over Jets! Wasn't very high scoring, but an interesting game none the less.
spaceace12 Posted September 14, 2008 Author Posted September 14, 2008 Be interesting once they play a good good team, not just a good team. Of course, they have a easy schedule (or so I have been told), so who knows might happen. I think my fantasy football team did good. Rivers lost, but scored 3 TD's and threw for 300 plus yards.
ParkTrips Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 That was a pretty wild ending to the Chargers-Broncos.. going for 2 like its Madden and not the NFL, great stuff
Hotlanta Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Even though the Falcons lost they showed some good progress. Matt Ryan was pretty good in the second half even though he was lousy in the first.
spaceace12 Posted September 15, 2008 Author Posted September 15, 2008 Since this is NFL related....what is happening with Vick. Did he get 5 years or 5 months in prison? Is his contract still active?
ReppinMoose Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 The Chargers got ROBBED today! horrible officiating!
Hotlanta Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Since this is NFL related....what is happening with Vick. Did he get 5 years or 5 months in prison? Is his contract still active? He is supposed to get out of Levenworth around June-July of next year. He still on the Falcons roster because the team is trying to reduce the effect on the cap hit by cutting him. Plus they are still trying to recover some more of the dough they gave him. I am sure they will cut his butt when he is released. Good riddance.
ParkTrips Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 The Chargers got ROBBED today! horrible officiating! hey, its not like the game was the touchdown... its not like they didn't give up a 2pt conversion too... they lost the game just as much as the refs screwed up, they still had their chance to not lose
cfc Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 ^^Vick's bankruptcy proceedings often make the front page of the local papers. What a sad, sad mess.
mcjaco Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 On the Other hand. Bears lost and the Colts won. Manning looked great in the second half. Hopefully his rust is gone! No offense, but I love how you make no mention of the Colts loss last week, and only the Bears loss and their win this week. News break: The Colts got their butts kicked last week, and barely made it through this week. Their offensive line is in shambles and Manning looks like his rust is far from coming off.
alpengeist04 Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 I'm ready for the Dolphins to get blown out again today. ...0-3 baby!!!
Hotlanta Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 I'm ready for the Dolphins to get blown out again today. ...0-3 baby!!!They are the one team no matter how lousy they are that always give the Patriots a good game. Hopefully they can eek one out.
spaceace12 Posted September 21, 2008 Author Posted September 21, 2008 If Cassel and the Pats lose to the Dolphins, they better look for a back up QB.
alpengeist04 Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 I'm going to predict Miami to get blown out every game for now on. I couldn't be happier to be wrong on this one. GO PHINS!!!
spaceace12 Posted September 22, 2008 Author Posted September 22, 2008 I have never been so happy to have a bye week so early, can't wait for this injury bug to leave the colts....Be gone you demon injury bug....and for the Colts to get backt o winning ways. And holy crap, NE got blown out by the Fish.
alpengeist04 Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Let's go Dolphins!!! Oh wait, they have a bye. In that case, let's go Arizona and St. Louis.
DevilSaint Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 That game just proved why neither of these teams are going to make it to the playoffs. Just sad, but being a Robbie Gould fantasy owner, I sure did enjoy the last 10 minutes.
