For my 16th birthday my Dad took me to Ohio, and we stopped by this tiny park on our way to Cedar Point driving from Geauga Lake.

I was planning on posting my pictures from all of the parks, but with the Midwest TRs I thought posting more Cedar Point pictures might be a slight overkill.

Anyways, Memphis Kiddie Park was about five minutes form Cleveland Hopkins Airport. It had one credit, Little Dipper, which is great for the kids! I’ll write more in the captions. I'm not sure if this park gets a lot of publicity so enjoy!

Thanks for reading! This was a fun little place to stop by, and there was quite a crowd so this park might actually survive a few more years!

This was a little boat ride, and on the right you can see the K'nex-esque Ferris wheel.

Ride Restrictions were pretty much the same standard stuff.

This is a shot from the parking lot...this is a boring caption.

Here is the main part of the ride before the turn back into the station. The little bunny hills actually had a little airtime, but once again if you are over 4ft it was painful!

Here’s the top of the lift. There is about a 1 foot drop right before the lift that kills your back when you are taller than 4ft!

Not the most flattering picture, but it gives you a good idea of how small the trains are. I’m about 5’9, and to fit in the train I had to sit “Indian Style” to fit! I figured wearing my TPR shirt might make it seem less pathetic...I don't think it worked.

And by the looks of this...I believe it! "Kiddie Coaster Porn"?

Little Dipper! Apparently it's the oldest standing steel coaster in North America.

You can pretty much see the whole park from this shot. The parking lot probably parked about 100 cars, and the lot was twice the size of the park.

Here's the park's signage. It was a cool little park, and they actually let adults/tall people on their coaster! Also every ride was only one ticket, which was only $1.50.

Been there, done that! I'm a dirty little whore!

The hotel I stayed at was only 5 minutes away making the decision to go much easier. I spent more time talking to the nice lady at the gate than I did in the park. She used to really be into coasters 50 years ago, but not so much today.

If anyone is interested- that park is also very close to our zoo!

That head on pick of the coaster- the girl on the left in the front seat- tell me she won't be posting on here in 5 or 6 years!

Born and raised in Cleveland yet I did not get to the park until this past July! Cute little park and I didn't feel too pathetic riding the coaster. Anything for a credit!!

It wasn't as pathetic as I thought it would be. At least I didn't have to wait in line for it!

Nice TR.

Painful is right!

Having raised two kids in Cleveland, i can tell you that coaster can seriously hurt adults.

I always wish they'd put in a set of Flyers.

I could definitely see flyers at this park, but it seems to be centered towards kids not families...hence the name, I guess.

Nice little park even though it appears to be built on a parking lot. It is amazing that such an old kiddie park is still around though, but it appears to have a good local following.
