Drop-Out Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Screamscape says that the log ride could be given a green slime theme, so I guess that it will be given a look similar to the Splat City areas at KI, KD, and GA used to look if not recycling some theming. As for the ghost blasters ride, It would make a kickass Danny Phantom dark ride, but Zim would be better suited because of the lasers, not to mention that the show is still very popular despite it being off of the channel. The only rides I can't see being themed to Nick are Mighty Axe and The tumbler.
steel Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 ^^Um, maybe because it's themed to Fairly Odd Parents?
WildStangAlex Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 I apologize if this has already been discussed, but I didn't read every reply to this thread. How will a park named Nickelodeon Universe survive if there is already a massive themed area of Kings Island named Nickelodeon Universe. Is the new owner of Park at MOA Cedar Fail?
Swoosh Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 ^^Um, how many visitors to MOA do you think will have ever heard of KI or even give a rat's butt that KI's kiddie area has the same name? Yeah I was thinking maybe at most 20 people besides coaster geeks too, funny how we came to same conclusion.
Sticky Nicky Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Is the new owner of Park at MOA Cedar Fail? Cedar Fair used to manage the park when it was Camp Snoopy, if Cedar Fair was still there, it would still be Camp Snoopy.
Looty Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 15 million people visit The Mall of America every year...I really don't think they'll have an issue.
Sticky Nicky Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 Here are some more construction photos, this time from Alan at CoasterCravers.com You can really see that they are moving fast. Part of Ripsaws helix is dismantled for construction in that area. Mystery Mine and the Old Time Photos are totally gone and they have ripped up the enclosed part of Gohsat Blasters Que and Entrance. I am sorry the Pictures are so big. Can someone please resize the photos? What is left of Mystery Mine, Old Time Photos

Swoosh Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Yeah hi, since your site is so user - unfriendly can you post a direct link to where you are hiding the photos on your site. These small photos are not doing it for me and I don't have hours to try to find them on coastercravers.com Thanks

uwgbdork Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Where has all the speculation that hte Eurofighter is going to be spongebob? Is it not so obvious even from the press realease that it is going to be Avatar themed?. http://info.theparkatmoa.com/InsidePark/Press%20Release.htm This is what it says: "Though the majority of the creative elements are in development, including the official name of the new park, one of the first rides to be introduced in the park is a roller coaster based the animated Nick series, Avatar: The Last Airbender. Located in the northwest corner of the park, the “Avatar Airbender” will be the park’s first upside down roller coaster. Construction is expected to begin in 2007. " To me Press Releases are a better source of solid information then newspaper articles
Vffreak07 Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 I assure you it'll be spongebob themed.
Swoosh Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 To view these photos you must register so you can see the Members Only forum. Yeah hi, not worth the time
Sticky Nicky Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 I don't run the site but it is http://www.coastercravers.net which is formally valleyfaircentral.com
steel Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 I wish it would stop getting compared to VFCentral. That makes it sound like a bad fan site. It has nothing to do with VF!.
Reon Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Maybe Avatar IS the Eurofighter. Unless the press release specifically states otherwise, Spongebob may be the retheme of Timberline or Ripsaw? I dont know since I've never had a chance to visit the park. Just my 2 cents.
Sticky Nicky Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 I wish it would stop getting compared to VFCentral. That makes it sound like a bad fan site. It has nothing to do with VF!. What are you talking about? The site Coaster Cravers was untill about a month ago, Valleyfair Central. They then transformed it into a new site.
Looty Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 THE HALFPIPE IS AVATAR! THE EURO-FIGHTER IS SPONGEBOB!

Listen to this from August 3rd www.coastercrew.com/intheloop.php?action=play&fileid=85

But they are two totally different sites. CC is NOT a fansite. Its a revival of the old CC.
