Zen Coaster Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 - When someone is outnumbered by a group gathered to abuse them. - People doing things without thought for anyone but themselves.

CoastersNSich Posted June 5, 2007 Author Posted June 5, 2007 "Shout out" "something-Dub" instead of saying "W"... like "B-Dubs" "G-Dub"
Zen Coaster Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Never heard that Dub thing before... what exactly is the context?
Gav Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 It means saying "dub" instead of "double-u"....the alphabet letter W. For example some people call a Volkswagen (VW) a "vee-dub".
Jew Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 When people triple post. yeah, REALLY hate THAT. So use the edit button and do something about it.

What's also annoying are the boys and girls on any social website (Myspace/Facebook/etc) post everything an assassin would possibly need to find out where they live, when they are at what time, etc. What pisses me off is when they say "its good for keeping in touch with ppl! Yeah? The only real "touch" you'll need is writing to them or going to their house. Or email.
gisco Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 When someone says queue line. A queue is a line so they are saying line line.
cfc Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 (edited) Here's one that just popped up in the BGW Discussion Thread: "I hate to be a Negative Nancy, but . . ." If you "hate it," then why are you doing it? Edited March 30, 2015 by cfc
YOLO Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 I used to cringe at people who preferred texting over calling someone, but now that I got my first smartphone (iPhone 5s) I now hypocritically prefer texting over calling someone, unless it is a relative. If you are looking for a video to cringe at, then here you have it. [youtu_be] [youtu_be]
GCI Wooden Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 YOLO has always been high on my list. You only live once, you would think that that's a given. The only place I'm OK with it is the word filter on this site.
gisco Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 People who use amount when number should be used. "There is a huge amount of people in the park today!" If you can count it, use number!
XII Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 I know there's more, but these are the two that immediately pop into my head and are the phrases I hate the most. "You only live once, AKA YOLO" - I know there's been a ton of backlash to the phrase and people are sick of it. I DESPISED it from the very moment it was coined. It's always been just a phrase for stupid doucebags to justify them acting like an idiot. "Man Up" - There are so many better ways to tell people to deal with a bad situation. I cringe everytime I hear someone say this.
