BeemerBoy Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 ^^ When is Sacramento officially gonna change that to the "Queens," in order to avoid all the confusion?
imawesome1124 Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 It really sucks that Dale Hunter won't be coach next year. He did great things for this team especially in the playoffs. But family should come first and I think he made the right decision. Good luck with your family Dale and thank you for giving us a playoff run that for once exceeded expectations.
Jew Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 ^He also owns the London Knights. That probably factored into it too. Â Side note: Mike Smith is a b*tch. Not only did he dive, but he took a blatant cheap shot at Brownie. I'm OK with a goalie protecting their crease with a nice check, but that was ridiculous.
Sir Clinksalot Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 ^ Agreed. And it sucks that Goalies won't be disciplined the same as other players. That could have been a devastating blow. I hope Brown is ok. Â That said, damn the Kings are on a roll.
AllenA07 Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 ^He also owns the London Knights. That probably factored into it too. Side note: Mike Smith is a b*tch. Sir Clinksalot Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Holy Crap ... I mean just HOLY FREAKIN' CRAP!!! Â I'm really trying to contain myself but 19 years is a LONG freaking time to wait. Â I will say, not sure what the Coyote's coach was talking about in his post game P.C.. Embellishment? Yeah, that's why your team is down 3-0. Stupid Media didn't even call him on it.
Top Thrill Dragster Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 I know its exciting, but, they haven't won anything yet. Still plenty of time for the other shoe to drop. Â Win game 4 and win four more, then we have something to truly celebrate.
Sir Clinksalot Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 ^ I know, which is why I'm trying to not get excited. Ask me again if they win 5 more games.
BeemerBoy Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 ^ I know exactly how you two feel. My emotions were going a million different ways at this same time last year. Â But yeah, just keep Marty McSorley away from the equipment room.
Top Thrill Dragster Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 ^ Keep Marty McSorley at least 5 miles away from Staples Center. He was at Game 3 last year and we all know what happen there. Â Hes bad luck.
Sir Clinksalot Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 Marty was there yesterday ... guess the streak continues. Â Stay away Marty!!!

coasterbill Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 I have a lot of faith in the Rangers, but it looks like we might have another game 7 on the way. This team is unbeatable with their backs against the wall but they're now 0-7 when they have a series lead. They just love to make it interesting I guess...
Top Thrill Dragster Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 LA Kings are Western Conference Champions! Â Â Â Â Â Â I cant believe it, wow.
Jew Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 I was eating dinner at a bar with my old boss and there happened to be 6 kings fans in the bar...we all hugged and celebrated with a shot!
Sir Clinksalot Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Just amazing. I swear I thought I was going to have a heart attack last night. I can't even imagine what it will be like a week from tonight!!! Â Looks like there are a lot of new Kings fans of FB. LOL. Gotta love LA.
coasterbill Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 I was at the Yankee game last night but I got home to watch the 3rd period and the overtime. Good for the Kings, but god those officials were horrible. How do you blow that delay of game call, and that high stick call? A lot of dumb penalties and blown calls in this one...
Sir Clinksalot Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 ^ There were a couple the other way too. The offside called when Doughty stole it, the Doughty penalty, etc. Â It goes both ways, not sure why everybody is only concentrating on the ones against the Coyotes. Â And of course, most are saying that hit by Brownie should have been a penalty. It was a clean hit. Period.
Skycoastin Steve Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Still on the Kings bandwagon, I would love to see them take out NJ or NY!
Jew Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Mike Smith talking crap about a questionable hit (could have gone either way...cliche to say it, but it was so "bang, bang" the ref could have called it either way. I don't think there was any intent to knee, but there was definitely knee contact) when he went Tonya Harding on Dustin Brown (and also attempted to slash Richards in front of the net right after he gave up the winning goal) is funny....
