I have been checking out the site for a couple of weeks now and i have to say that I love all the pics of the parks that you guys have been to. I live in the So. Cal area and also work in the gaming industry. I love coasters and I loved seeing pics of Chessington in the U.K. I haven't been there in nearly 15 years and it was really nice to see pics of that place again. This website and forum are really cool and I hope to meet you guys sometime in the near future. Ed

jkettles95060
Hello fellow Coaster and Park lovers, I am John from Santa Cruz, CA, USA. I live within walking distance from The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (Celebrating it's 100th Birthday in 2007 BTW) and home of the venerable Giant Dipper wooden Coaster. My coaster obsession began at a very young age, as my grandmother would push me in my stroller in Long Beach, CA, where I was born, around and under the Long Beach Cyclone Racer at the old defunct amusement park called the Pike. I remember the strange smells, sounds and sites of that place well. At still quite a young age, my parents moved us to Santa Cruz CA, which also had a beachside wooden rollercoaster. I naturally thought that all cities had their own wooden coasters, and was disappointed later to find out that most of those have been destroyed. As you can guess by my mention of the awesome Cyclone Racer, I am 45 years old and have ridden on over 250 coasters. I have been on 3 coaster trips now 1) from San Jose to Montreal Canada, hitting 63 coasters in 17 days 2) from Orlando to Agawam MA, hitting about 20 coasters and 3) Blackpool, England, hitting 6 coasters there, had to miss a few there since I was a starving student and their coasters were expensive in 1989 I found this site when I googled Tatsu Media Day Camp Out... I was supposed to be there, but here I am sitting at home in front of my computer BUMMED TO THE MAX TO HAVE MISSED IT! After being on the list and looking forward to the SFMM Camp Out Event for TATSU for months now, I started feeling a bit poorly on Sunday night. No problem, I thought, just take it easy and I will be better in time for the trip. But NOOOO, it turns out I have Bronchitis and a really bad flu virus. I hope those in attendance had a blast and I guess I will catch it on the next ACE event day this summer. If you went, let me know how it was! Also read something about something going on in Long Beach this year. Are they building a coaster? There has been that rumour for a while now, hope it comes true someday. Happy COASTERING! seamonkey189
Hi. My name is Mark Evans, I am 16 and I am not a monkey. I like to surf and play video games. I used to be really good at Halo2 but now I suck. I like to play DDR and I am not asian. I live in Santa Barbara california and I have limited access to roller coaster except for knots and SFMM. I don't like disney land because we went there when I was 6 and I got lost. I have been on every coaster at Knotts and SFMM and I went on space mountain. My friends tell me that I look like I'm being rained on everytime they see me. I am a blond but that doesn't mean im "blond." I make a lot of sarcastic remarks so I'm sorry in advanced if I hurt people (mentally and physically).

Daan
Hi, My name is Daan and I am from the Netherlands. My attention was drawn to this formum because it had quite some info on the new SFMM coaster 'Tatsu'. I have been a very lucky man. I was for business in LA last week and the SFMM crew allowed me to ride the Tatsu on tuesday. It was a really great experience and I really liked the LA area themeparks I vissited (SFMM, Universal Studio's Holywood). I wish we had parks like these here in West europe. myfootitches
Hi everyone! I'm Jose, a long time lurker....finally decided to get more involved in the craziness that is TPR. I would guess that my home park would be Michigans Adventure by default, but I'm closer to Cedar Point, so I'm taking that one! I've ridden a little over a hundred coasters, planning on making it about 125 by the end of this year. I started riding coasters to overcome my fear of heights.....now I ride them a ton...and am still scared of heights... I'm an accountant by trade, and keep busy playing hockey and spending time with the GF(who is gradualy becoming a coaster fan herself). I also spell check my posts, and generally make sense when I decide to comment on something(I know...amazing). Ok, I'll stop with the babbling now... roasted_marshmallow
Wowzers... 52 pages of people introducing themselves... I'm afraid I haven't read them all, but I'm sure I'll get to know the regulars as time goes on. My name is Heather and I live in Calgary, Alberta. 25 years old, just got my degree in political science... I suppose I should have counted the number of coasters I've been on, but I think it's a lame total (I'll guess 3 or 4). My sister and I are celebrating my grad by going on a wooden coaster tour to some of the parks in the US shortly. I came here for info, and it looks like I've found the right place! That's all for now I guess....

lquisp
Hi! I'm Luann and was introduced to this forum by the best son in the world.... M_force_4_ever who got me hooked on coasters last year when we went to visit Busch Garden and I road Appollo's Chariot. Ever since I've been getting addicted to riding. Before that I was often too scared... I had been on Space Mountain and the Whizzer and a few others, but not for a number of years. I thought I was too old... but once he got me on that first one again, I realized how cool it really was and maybe no one is EVER too old to ride! Who knows?
