scud Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 I'm Joseph, and live in Missouri. I actually haven't been on a whole lot of coasters, but with my CP trip this june, and my (maybe) second six flags trip also this summer, that's about to change. My favorite coaster is currently Wildfre, a B&M sit-down at Silver Dollar City. Cobra rolls win!
TexasGiant1982 Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 How are you doing? My name is TexasGiant1982, and I just started to become a coaster fanatic. I currently attend Texas A&M-Corpus Christi where I will be pursuing a History major. My favorite coaster of all-time has got to be the Texas Giant; that's why I chose the Texas Giant to be part of my name.

quickey Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 Hi! I am Lewis and a live in a small village called Silverdale, near Lancaster, in the UK. My local park is the pleasure beach Blackpool, and I also visit Alton Towers. My dad lives in Houston, Texas and I go and visit him quite often so sometimes we go to san Antonio and do the parks there. I have absolutely no idea how many coasters I have done because I have been doing them since I was small so cant remember a few, but I won’t have a ride count anywhere as big as some of you. I am a member of a few different forums, and the one I post the most often on it BPB guide. I have been meaning to get on hear for a while and so I have finally done so!
MiniMurderdoll Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 Heya, I be Chris. Been registered on here for almost a year now, but never posted, just lurked around on the website and forums every now and again. Living in the UK, and not very well travelled in terms of Theme Parks, mainly being found in Thorpe Park or Chessington every now and again. Though I've slightly drifted away from the parks, only visiting Thorpe once this year. When I get around to getting my driving licence it will probably spark off my interest again, but for now, I'm a bit of an anti-fanboy. Some might recognize me from over at http://www.southparks.org as an Administrator, but for those who don't. Thats where I can usually be found 'geeking out' over coasters. Other than the theme parks, I can usually be found doing random other geeky things related to computers, such as making useless ride simulators in Flash, or learning another random coding language, very badly, into the early hours of the morning. Will attempt to post on here from now on though, leaving it a year since registering isn't great of me. Anyhow, before this turns into a mini-biography. I'll stop talking. Chris
Purplepills Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Hi I'm Steve from the UK (and if you read this Chris I recognise you from Southparks), I've also been lurking for a bit but decided to post today. A little about me...I've been riding coasters for the last 20 years, but unfortunately due to distance and money I don't get to parks that often, but at least try to make it once a year. I haven't been to that many different parks, have been lucky enough to go to the states and did a few over there, also going again in September so looking forward to that. Other than coasters I don't actually do anything that interesting I'm a mechanical engineer who would like to work with coasters or buildings but unfortunately I have the wrong degree to get anywhere near anything structural! Anyway I'm at work so I better do some more 'working' Steve
luv2ride Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 Hi all. My name is Amy. Coaster count is 86. Would love to join the groups on one of the trips however that may have to wait. I am a broke student who wants to teach chemistry someday.
LiquidForce Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 Hey what's up my names Dan and I'm from Minnesota (U.S.). My home park is Valleyfair and I guess the Park at MOA since its five minutes from my house. I've been on about 80 roller coasters and want to travel to ride many more. My favorite steel coaster is Millennium Force and my favorite woody is Hades. I'm not a very critical person when it comes to rides I just always have a good time. I just wish the MN state fair would add some Schwarzkopf portable coasters like they have in Germany...I would love to go to Octoberfest sometime lol. Anyways I love baseball/hockey/football and playing bar league softball. I love watersports like wakeboarding or tubing. The highlight of my summer last year was when I went barefooting and acually did it for like 20 seconds. I'm also a student at Inver Hills Community College and intend to be phy ed teacher / coach someday. BTW Renegade is well worth heading to Valleyfair!

TheCoasterCritic Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Hello TPR! I'm a native of Virginia and I got my first taste of roller coasters at Kings Dominion. As a kid I feared them even more than broccoli or brussel sprouts, but everything changed when on a high school trip I was dragged onto the local legend known as the Grizzly. Somehow being scared to death sparked a strong interest in coasters and I haven't looked back since.
gk Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Hi, I'm Greg. A relative old fart compared to most of you it looks like. Recently moved to the Northeast from coaster-deprived Arizona last year, and I'm rekindling my love for roller coasters that I cultivated growing up in Ohio, and now I'm getting my daughter hooked as well. "Home park" for us is Great Escape (45m minutes), but SFNE is only an hour and a half away. It looks like we may be visiting SFGAdv for the first time on Monday. My track record is at about 81 I think. Oh, I'm a software engineer.
scouse_rider! Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 Hello! I'm Tracey from Liverpool. I love rides and rollercoasters but I'm so poor I dont get around much but I get my fix from looking at everyone's great pictures! The first proper rollercoaster I went on was when I turned twelve on the Traumatizer at Southport. I was afraid up 'til then because my mum was scared and she can only handle little rides like the caterpillar. She's terrified of heights, poor thing! My closest park was Pleasureland but obviously not anymore. Blackpool is only an hour away so I won't suffer too much.
browntggrr Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 Hello all! I've been checking out TPR for a few weeks now, and finally just got through all the trips that Rob & Elissa have been on- that is some great stuff! It makes my boring day job go by so much faster! Anyway, I live in Erie, PA, which is about 2.5 hours from CP and 5.5 hours from KI. I have been married for 7 years now, and my wife loves parks as much as I do. For many years now we have had both CP and KI season passes, but with CF acquisition, it got alot cheaper in '07. Don't forget that in 2008, Waldameer will be opening Ravine Flyer II. Construction is well on it's way, I'm sure I can figure out how to post some updated pics.
200 foot drop Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 Hello I'm Jake as you can call me I have loved coasters all my life ever since my first ride this little roller coaster at King Richards. I hope I enjoy it here. what is a donkey?
