Hi everyone! My name is Katie. I'm a college student at ASU in Tempe, Arizona, studying Biochemistry. I live for theme parks!! Before I was four years old (living in AZ), I was at Disneyland fourty five different times! I guess you could say it was encoded in my DNA . Ever since my fourth year, I've been back at LEAST once every year, making time to go to Knotts Berry Farm, too. I was so excited this past summer to get to go on Silver Bullet at Knotts, which had opened a year or so earlier! My personal record for rides at Disneyland in one day is: (I was there with my best friend who requires the use of a wheelchair, so we really didn't have to wait too long)

Big Thunder 4

Indiana Jones 3

Tower of Terror 4

Space Mountain 3

Jungle Cruise 1

Monsters Inc. 1

Star Tours 2

California Scremin' 2

Splash Mountain 2

Astro Blasters 2

Haunted Mansion 2

Maliboomer 2

Soarin Over California 1

Everything in Fantasyland

Watching the Fireworks too

My favorite ride, as you can probably tell, is Pirates of the Caribbean. Second is the Haunted Mansion! (hey, I grew up on them, gotta love them!) Also, the two (and on May 25th, three) Pirates movies are my favorite! I've seen them so many times I could probably recite the two movies to someone!

This last Halloween I was Tinkerbell, which some of my friends even call me sometimes! Yep, I had the wings, the wand, the pixie dust and everything, down to the little blue ribbon in her hair! (the Captain Jack with me is my boyfriend)

I love to talk about Disneyland, and all the great times I've spent there. I'm excited to go back this spring break and this summer with my WONDERFUL boyfriend! We've never been there together and it will be such a great time to go!

So I hope I've introduced myself well enough! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

~Katie

Allow myself to introduce...myself.

My name is Robert. I recently graduated from college with a Bachelors in Management. Soon I will be going back to school to get my MBA (I'm shooting for the likes of UCLA, if they'll be so nice to accept me).

One of my favorite past times is going to amusement parks. I've enjoyed doing so since I was 9. My first ride that I thoroughly enjoyed was the Shock Wave at Six Flags over Texas. Since then, I have found myself frequenting the likes of many parks. Below is a list of the parks I've been to and my favorite rides at them. Note that some rides are also at other parks, and maybe why I did not mention them twice.

Six Flags over Texas - Titan, Batman, and Mr Freeze

Six Flags Fiesta Texas - Superman: Krypton Coaster

Six Flags AstroWorld (Defunct) - Serial Thriller (Rest in Pieces) and Dungeon Drop (now at Six Flags St Louis)

Six Flags over Georgia - Superman: Ultimate Flight and Deja Vu

Six Flags Magic Mountain - Tatsu, X, Riddler's Revenge, and Goliath

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (Marine World) - Medusa

(Paramount's) Great America - Top Gun and Stealth (now at Carowinds)

Knott's Berry Farm - The Silver Bullet and Xcellerator

Disneyland - Space Mountain (the 1998 version)

Universal Studios Hollywood - The Mummy's Revenge

Over the years, I have visited various websites and come to know of some of the enthusiast names, though I have never actually met one...yet. I have been in the middle of some interesting topics (I still believe that Superman : The Escape is a rollercoaster! But that is another discussion for another time). I hope to again get into some other great discussions. I also just want to have fun. So enough of me being on my soapbox. I look forward to talking with some of you down the line.

Hello!

My name is Josh and I'm from Australia.

I love it here, even though our parks suck ass.

Yeah well I have an annual pass to Dreamworld so I tend to go there alot! It's about 30 minutes away so I just catch the train.

They have the Giant Drop there. That's apparently like the tallest Intamin free fall ride in the world, or I think it's second talest cause you americans stuck a drop on top of a building. Oh well.. On the same tower, there is something alot like Superman: The Escape. Actually, it's identical. It reachers around 156 km/h BUT we beat the American record cause it's top speed was 161 km/h and S:TE's top was 160 km/h! Yay! =]

At Warner Brother Movie World (Gold Coast) there is Australias one catapult rollercoaster. The Superman escape (Not to get confused with Superman: The Escape) Yeah it's pretty good. Themeing is great too.

www.movieworld.com.au

Owned by the same company, there is Wet 'n' Wild.

This apparently one of the biggest water park in the world. Not much to sy about that though.

www.wetnwild.com.au

Then.. There is WhiteWater World, that is a great water park owned by Dreamworld. It has the world first (i think) water rollercoaster. It's really good. They also have a few amazing water rides...

www.whitewaterworld.com.au

And last but not least... There is Sea World.

1 word.. Crapppyyyyy

I personally don't like it, cause there is a rollercoaster and pirate ship, and thats all. The rollercoaster is a lame corkscrew one and the pirate ship is lame aswell cause its boring.

There is Luna park in NSW, but I live in QLD..

Also, there are some other ride like Slingshots, Vomatron, Starflyer and some other rides in the Gold Coast at Surfers Paradise.

www.funtime.com.au

if that url doesn't work, just google it lol.

Anyway that is all.

Add me to MSN please =]

Josh.

Hello everyone...

My name is Stacy and I've been a member since the end of Dec, although I haven't posted a lot. But, I visit as often as I can.

I live in a "little" town in Texas where there are two great parks 'just down the road' (SFFT and SW-SA). lol

I grew up going to Astroworld in Houston, Texas, with my first visit at the age of ~6. My first "big" coaster was DFERR (Excalibur to the younger generation of Astroworld'ers) at the age of 13, and I've been hooked on coasters ever since.

AW was my "home" park (it was the closest to me for many years) until 3 years ago when we moved to SA. Course, AW remained "my park" in my heart, and, well, with regard to how I felt when it closed, we won't go there.

I have adopted SFFT as my home park, and love it like I own it! lol

I'm a member of ACE, and am an Editor & Asst Photographer for Fiesta Texas Online.

My hobbies are just that... rollercoasters and photography... and I'm never in a park without my camera equipment (in fact, my avatar is one of my photos, of Superman Krypton Coaster; don't ask what I had to do to get that photo! lol)

But, for as much as I love the parks and wish I could visit them all, I wasn't handed the ideal circumstances to do so. So, I enjoy our Texas parks as much as I can.

I have been to the following parks:

Astroworld

Fiesta Texas

Six Flags Over Texas

Six Flags Magic Mountain

Six Flags St. Louis

Sea World-San Antonio

Schlitterbahn-Galveston (not really a "theme park", but still on my list of 'amusement' parks)

And hope to visit the following this season:

Joyland - Lubbock, Texas (Greezed Lightnin' reincarnated!)

Wonderland - Amarillo, Texas (Myan Mindbender reincarnated)

Cliffs - Albuquerque, New Mexico (been told we must ride the New Mexico Rattler!)

Kemah Boardwalk - Kemah, Texas (for the new Boardwalk Bullet!)

Schlitterbahn - New Braunfels (ACE SchlitterCon IV)

Schlitterbahn - Galveston

And of course, we will be in our local parks...

SFFT (new ride, Big Spin!)

SW-SA (new ride, Journey to Atlantis!)

Oh, and one last thing... I talk a lot. I try not to, but I can't help it. I am what I am. lol

I'm Coasternut17, and I play percussion. I LOVE coasters, and my home park is either the Wisconson Dells or Six flags Great America (tie). I've been on 45 coasters at Six Flags Great America, Busch Gardens Tampa, Timberfalls, Mt. Olympus, Sea World San Antonio, Six Flags Astroworld, Univerasl Studios Orlando, Walt Disney World (all the parks), and Wisconson State Fair. You guys are sooo funny! Do you guys think 45 credits at 12 years old is a lot? Anyway, that's me!
