I really don't know how to write this without sounding like a shill. My friend (Who still hasn't told me how he is going to find the money to pay for it) is planning to get this super high tech camcorder called the Red One Digital Camera.

When I read the specs it blew my mind and knowing Robb as being an avid videophile I'd thought he's like to see it.

It records full motion 60fps video at 4520 X 2540 resolution. That means that every frame of that 60fps is the equivalent of a 12 megapixel still photo, and the camera weighs only 7lbs.

Too bad that it sells at pretty much the same price of a new of a new car. But just seeing this gives me hope that in the future, like five years from now, something like this will be in my price range.

Whoa! Those specs are pretty crazy. But the camera doens't really look like a camera. It's looks more like something that should be under the hood of a car!

Ooooooo . It says that it is like 24.5 mm by 15.5 mm (I think thats what I saw) That is tiny, plus it looks like a gun or something that would be used to create havic and nightmareish mass destuction throughout the universe. but, kind of looks like a laser gun or super heavy duty laser level created to get the job right the first time. You know

! I can imagine myself opening a cold, metal briefcase with mist flowing out. I reach in, and pull the camera out. I then wear it as a crown.

I'd never even think of taking a POV with that!

OMFG!!! *craps himself*

Its so pretty.

But I must say, even though the camera comes with everything in the line of ports, quality and flexibility, that thing better be bullet proof and have a double-lifetime warranty if it costs that much...

realisticly though, that camera is worth every cent....

It's still going to cost you at least $50,000 with all the other equipment you need. Good for filmmakers (currently 4K resolution camers can only be rented for lots of money a day...), still a long ways away from being useful for us!
