ParkTrips
OK so I am going to do my own version of the trip report that covered the past week. As you have probably seen, I joined Robb, Elissa, Elissa's parents and the Jew on a cruise through the Caribbean. This was my first cruise and I was absolutely amazed. Easily one of, if not *the* best vacation I have ever taken. I am already anticipating my next trip across the seas. Anyways here are some of my photos that I have decided to share, trying my best not to duplicate Robb's photos. If I recall, this is where Elissa discovered the trivia answers, which is why we won so many times! That's all for day one, not much excitement but more to come!! Check back tomorrow for more Promenade at night, all lit up and such Curves were EVERYWHERE... like on me darn, we didn't catch any of the shows. Tons of art was placed in the ship, as discussed in the "Building of.." video The interior was beautiful Here's the Promenade area, it was really cool. I still think of the ship as a floating Vegas resort. If only I got a nice shot of the people who moon'd us... Bye bye cruise terminal! See you in a week =( Red skies at night... This was the emptiest I saw the pool during the day all week The Port of Miami was pretty big, but nothing compared to what we saw pictures of from Asia.. The pretty sunrise over Miami, note the abundance of cranes! That is about the only nice-looking part of Miami... Jewey and I shared a nice little stateroom That's our ship, the Explorer, as seen leaving Belize
SharkTums
OMG, that last picture is worth soooo much money!!! It shows Robb...in a library!!!!!!
Meteornotes
^He didn't actually touch a book or anything, did he? Or did they have some coloring books on the shelves? That is a cool looking ship. I know nothing about cruises and this stuff, and am not sure if I'd go on one, as the idea of being trapped on a ship with a bunch of people sort of scares me, but I have been enjoying these PTRs. dt

ParkTrips
Here are photos from Day 2 (at sea) and Day 3 (Belize). sadly I can't replicate Joey's noise from the canopy tour in pictures... That's all for today, I leave you with the towel animal of the day... You can see it in the background, but here is Joey killing some dude boxing Elissa's dad did AWESOME on his first try at tennis Robb and Jewey playing tennis.. we've got quite a long trip ahead of us so long, Belize me on the boat... yay? The sun was going down... Belize got more action on the trip than I did =( in line, here is where I spotted the diamonds chick... "She'll pretty much have to" This would be our return boat, much larger than the one we took to shore back on the docks ready to tender At least Belize was VERY Coke-friendly. I don't think any of us saw any reference to Pepsi (that's how it should be!) Here we are back in Belize City, almost back to the port haha it says "lubricants" wow, those look almost decent You don't see that in America.. All good tours include food.. About time to leave the jungle encampment NOT Robb, just some random dude wow this is really turning into the Robb thread... Robb's ass Robb again... braking like a wuss Robb is ready to jump off the precipice I'm not entirely sure how all of that worked, but I didn't die so I was happy Here's the first repelling station where jew made his sound ... and one of the many cliffs so.. yea... jungle Finally, we're at our remote destination more foliage When the locals get bored, they stare at the mountains. Or at least out tour guide did.. Random photo of Belizean mountains and proof that they have power I really hope the bottled water isn't pumped out of there Then we saw about 30 minutes worth of wetland-ish terrain with not much on it... see what I mean? The empty lot looked nicer than most of the homes That's probably the tallest building in Belize.. Belize may not have well paved roads... but they do have an internet cafe! Welcome to Belize (Day 3) I liked the art on display I don't remember the purpose of the photo, but it makes Elissa look fat so I figured I'd post it "I have an N..." Elissa's Dad joined in the fun... This is about all I saw other than water on Day
RaptorBoyASU
Wow, your cruise ship was so much nicer than the one I was on back in January. Ghetto ass Carnival.

ParkTrips
^ Totally! I love Mr Hertz!! Anyways.. on to day four stuff, a stop in Costa Maya with nothing much to do followed by day five - Thanksgiving in Cozumel with the ATV tour! Good night Costa Maya, I'll probably be back some day... originally I took this photo because it ripped off Jimmy Buffet but it kinda ended up being true... ok so we decided to get back to the boat before it left us! This guy reminded me of South of the Border.. not Jewey, the statue dude.. Here's my "beer thread" photo.. so we went back to Mexico and Joey went in search of "tail".. I guarantee you he did not make this shot. Not that I did much better... Joey's all "with enough beer, I can ball too!" here's a big, dead thing.. wasn't sure if it was a bug or small bird since drinking in town wasn't enough, Jew and I drank once we got back on the ship too.... and for some reason, decided to play games here we are headed back onto the ship random beach shot, I can see the hammock from here this looked like an ultra twister... so I just had to include it here I believe I had already began to feel the effects of the margarita.. nope, sorry, that's my "normal" face wow, it almost looks nice mmm... poolside bar random shot of the cruise ships from the tower This port literally just popped out of no where The place actually looked moderately nice, especially considering its in Mexico! Then again its young, I'm sure it will decay like the rest of them! No excursions for us today! I don't see why I couldn't have taken a cruise on something like that.. I see a little town at the end of the dock! yeah, apparently it was someone's birthday or something
ParkTrips
continuing on.. how about a sunset photo to end this update? hopefully next time we get to stop in the "good" part of Cozumel! no shopping for me by that time, we were ready to leave 1/2 Senor Frogs and get back on the Explorer ... as did I... ... but then they danced together so it was all good Joey totally got molested! we passed on the giant margarita's at 1/2 Senor Frogs though.. Jewey and I decided to head back to town at least the weather got a bit better proof that I threw them away My old running shoes from high school I wish we got to dock up near those other ships because the part of Cozumel we were at was kinda weak The company even had some nice scenery around the camp The skies look pretty.. the rest of the photo, not so much I was glad we didn't do the sissy thing and walk the trails.. I wanna go back to the ATVs.. The Mayans were short people, I guess that's why they had short temples walking off the bus back to the "class" we took That's us! note the crappy weather early on, it did get better later.. The dock was in great condition We had to wake up pretty early in Cozumel

Louise
He CLAIMS... I wasn't even sick, hell, I'm not even sure if it was the liquor or the crappy strawberry slushie sort of thing that made me vomit, and it wasn't bad - hell I didn't even really stop and lean over like most people do, and I didn't get any on me and felt fine that is why I stick to beer... ...So why DID he change his shirt then?? Excuses excuses.
ParkTrips
I did! And we didn't even pass out like Derek. LOL I like how in his TR...He has two different shirts on...Maybe because you puked all over your shirt there Jow? Well this part of the TR covered two days to begin with... but I did change shirts for dinner that night (pic). The only other person to ask is Jewey since Robb and Elissa were being old and were still on the ship sleeping...
BeemerBoy
Joe, who was operating that white submarine in the pic where you pointed out the other cruise ships docking in the better section? Just wondering if it was a local company offering side trips or something?

Jew
I'll vouch for Joe. Joe was pretty much like how Stan was whenever Wendy came up to him in South Park. Just stopped, vomited (all on the ground...none on himself), kept on moving. I've seen way worse alcohol vomiting.
ParkTrips
here are the photos from Day 6, which was supposed to be in the Caymans, and Day 7, at sea headed back to Miami. Not much to show, but here we go anyways here's a teaser for the next TR, that's all for now! I hope you've enjoyed my look at the vacation! It wouldn't be a TPR trip without a McDonalds stop Back in Miami.. sigh awww, its time to leave. Bye bye star of David! lol @ the Stratosphere in respect to Derek... last night on the ship =( *I* climbed the wall, did anyone else? noooooo .. in case you forgot the name of the ship ... here is where we went to pick up chicks doesn't look too rough to me! apparently these seas are too rough
Hattuchili
Awesome pictures! It looks like you really had a blast! It is funny to see Jew drinking beer in the pictures! I still thought he is under 21, because I remembered last year in Germany and he told me he is under 21! Anyway, thanks for posting. --Sören
