Vekoma Fan Boy Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Go into C:/Program Files/No Limits Coasters V1.x and find the install file for the AVI export program. It sets up the AVI export feature and lets you select the file where the videos are saved. The default is the screenshots folder, but beforehand I created a separate folder for my videos, and use that one instead.
CCJared Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 To kake things simple for you, just push the 0 number 0 on the num pad when your in the simulator, There is no need to install anything. All the advanced sim setup.exe does is chooses where the AVI videos save too.
Jplaz Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 How do bank turns? I am having trouble with this. Thanks in advance!
coasterlover420 Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 There is a toolbar that controls banking turns, it should be up with the rest of the toolbars.
CCJared Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 ^^Is there any way to do that on a laptop? yeah sure, when your in the main menu of the simulator, change the Video recording button in the controls section.
hyyyper Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 How do you make a pov using version 1.6??? Go to fly-by view and position your camera on the rail
coasterlover420 Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 ^and use FRAPS or another video capturing program.
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 How do you make a pov using version 1.6??? Why cant you download 1.71? Its free. And has a video program...
Rct3man777 Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 I need help...Where do you put the AHG? Where do you install it to?
coasterlover420 Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 You don't install it. Just unzip it to any location and open the program from there.
Rct3man777 Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Thanks. And also, I tried to open a Nolimits element with AHG but accidently selected adobe reader, so now all the element (NLELEM) files are now my documents files...How do I change them back???
hyyyper Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 ^nothing has canged really, only the default program to open them with. Just open any element from the editor and it'll still work fine. Also, AHG only heartlines trackfiles, so if you want to heartline an element, you must first put it in a trackfile.
coasterlover420 Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Yes, AHG can only open NLTRACK files. And also, if you right click on any element file, select "properties," and click the button that says "Change..." and select the NoLimits program, if that's the problem you're having with filetypes...
angryemobeaver Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 I just made a NL coaster and i saved it, im trying to go onto the simulator and test it out but when i try to go there it says "cant switch to 800x600x16, please set mode manually!" Whats that meen?
rollerboy Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 Sorry if this has been posted before but I cant be bothered to read 29 pages. How do I find out the degree of my drop? Jordan.
hyyyper Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Use either the center node, or just make a support line that touches the trackline in it's bending-point.
rollerboy Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Thank you, your diagram really helped. Thanks again, Jordan.
coasterlover420 Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 In the case you don't have a track node where the drop is steepest, you acn utilize supports and use the same principle, like so:
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 Use either the center node, or just make a support line that touches the trackline in it's bending-point. I can't quite tell from your diagram, is that Angle=tan^-1(y/x) or Angle=tan^-2(y/x)? Edit: oops, wrote the equation wrong, I had run over rise put down instead of rise over run.
