verticalzero Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 In the TV program CSI: A roller coaster runs off its track, leaving six people dead. The CSI team investigates whether this was an accident or foul play. One of the deaths, however, is not what it seems, and this takes the case in an unexpected direction http://www.tv.com/csi/turn-of-the-screws/episode/320447/summary.html Click on view trailer
Hercules Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 I was running at the gym about a year ago and this was on the TV there. It wasn't that bad. I'm not really a fan of CSI or any show like it, and it was decent. Probably just because it had a coaster in it.
Louise Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 Is this the episode that Chris Belson (rollermonkey) has quoted in his signature?
viking86 Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 I thought the episode sucked. The accident could never have happened in real life, and the owner of the ride (who also checked the ride every morning) would never have gotten away with anything like that in real life. The only cool part was the conversation he had with Grissom at the end.
Golfie Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 ... Wait... why was one of the people smiling while they were flying off the track? That was kind of a lame crash, too. The train didn't even get squished or anything.
rollermonkey Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Is this the episode that Chris Belson (rollermonkey) has quoted in his signature? Tht'd be no, Lou, as my signature does not contain a quote from CSI.
CoasterFanatic Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 The conversation at the end of the show is innacurate in every way. No way could anyone marathon Steel Phantom and live to tell the tale
Louise Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Is this the episode that Chris Belson (rollermonkey) has quoted in his signature? Tht'd be no, Lou, as my signature does not contain a quote from CSI. Damn you Belson!!!
disneygurlz2s Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 The conversation at the end of the show is innacurate in every way. Yeah, but Grissom mentions PKI, Cincinnati and SOB (and consider that a plug since Viacom owns(owned) both CBS and Paramount) so I thought it was cool. Shari
Eternal_Rider Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 i've never been interested in this show and this really faking crash didnt help me like it any better....it wasn't that bad but its just not the show for me
FLIPDUDE Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 What, so I'm the only one who actually thought htat was totally cool? And besides, it's not necessarily that fake. It IS a Pinafari, yknow. EDIT - eurgh. read that last quote on the thread o.O I knew some people get off on vertical loops and lif thills, but thats goign too far.
okinawaboy11 Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Aw, I love CSI. Actually there have been multiple coaster encounters on CSI. They've ridden Speed, Investigated that one coaster. AND I think did something with New York New York.
Hattuchili Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 I have seen this episode last year or so and for me wasn´t it that bad! I like CSI and it was nice to see an episode with a coaster accident! But you are right, the accident itself was not so good and yes in real live would this never happen in that way! --Sören
SoopaStarLimo Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 -sarcasm on - Hmmm... So, those who've seen the episode, tell me, does the coaster hit a bomb, jump a ramp, or something? -sarcasm off -
