  1. That's one of the most disgusting concoctions I've ever seen in my entire life. Just the thought of downing that makes me dry heave a bit.
  2. ^^ Love that old pic! Are the grads still required to dress up? Thinking back on it, that's one of the biggest things that made my Grad Nite at WDW so cool and unique. It's certainly the only time I've ever ridden Space Mountain in a shirt and tie.....or probably ever will again for that matter!
  3. Seriously, this really pisses me off. Why couldn't he have just left me the keys to the car, lit himself on fire, and jumped off a cliff (and at least had the decency to record it for his adoring fans)????? Ugh, the selfishness of some people.
  4. I respect it for being an Audi. That's all I got though.
  5. He kinda does have the right to, just as you have the right to disagree with it.
  6. ^ We're talking about a guy who got paid tremendous amounts of money to get mocked for basically everything he did. Why should his death (which was probably preventable) be any different?
  7. To paraphrase a friend's response to this question once: After 9/11, the FAA started imposing "Temporary Flight Restrictions" all over the country which require a waiver to fly below 3000ft. and within 3 nautical miles of somewhere or someplace holding 30,000 people or more. This includes things such as sporting events and concerts. There's always been debate about whether Disney had lobbied for special treatment even before 9/11 to help keep sightseeing and banner-flying planes out of their airspace, as Brian suggested, to "preserve the magic." Regardless, I think it was decided that the park generally has enough people on a daily basis (similar to the 30,000 person standard) to just go ahead and apply the rule permanently to the MK. I'm pretty sure (don't quote me) in Florida the rule is you can't fly below 3000ft within 3 nautical miles of the Contemporary Resort without a special waiver (with the obvious exception of emergencies, etc.). Oh, and nice work, Adam!
  8. ^^ If your best friend dies doing something incredibly stupid, then the line to mock him starts with me.
  9. I just read some more about Ryan Dunn's death. I shouldn't have been so harsh on the previous page. The whole thing really is a shame.......about the Porsche. I mean, it just got some nice looking new wheels back in March. So sad.
  10. Good thing she was just taking pictures.
  11. ^ Indeed. That one is certainly worth mourning.
  12. Lovin' the reports, guys! This has to be what SFA is getting next year.....
  13. The Turtle Cam is part of a deep dark TPR secret. Somewhere inside that turtle cage (or whatever it's called) is the winning piece to wondrous prizes inside the vault at TPR headquarters. I can't tell you where or what you're looking for, but believe me, when you see it you'll know. The key is to watch it as much as possible, and when you find the secret piece, take a screen grab and send it to Dan. Only a select few have ever won....but trust me, you will be rewarded beyond your wildest dreams.
  14. ^ Well if you're gonna star in "Jackass," it only makes sense to die like one.
  15. ^^ Yeah, without question, social media is the silver lining for this whole debacle. Seeing these asshats who posted about what they did face charges is gratifying. ^ Possibly a hopeful little side note for ya: Out of my four best hockey-playing friends growing up, three of us have now celebrated the Cup in the last three years. A Penguins fan, a Blackhawks fan, and now me with the Bruins. That fourth friend? I'll let you guess who he roots for.
  16. Designated Hitter - Designated Driver? Nice pics of the ship.
  17. Trust me, I understand your anger concerning these dbags, but I don't quite agree with your statement. While they certainly don't represent all of Canada, B.C., the Vancouver organization, or hockey in general, they ARE representing the city of Vancouver. I'll explain. Here's my thoughts on the situation. If you are a citizen of Vancouver, Boston, Toronto, Sydney, London, Miami, etc., etc., by default, your actions serve to represent your place of residence. It's each individual's own responsibility to carry him/herself in a proper, respectable manner. In good or bad acts, you are ALWAYS representative of where you're from. For example, take for instance a show like Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The show focuses on the week-long efforts of a group of community volunteers that come together and help build a new home for a family in need. Throughout the production it is clear that these volunteers represent Anytown, USA through their actions, thus leaving the viewer with a sense that the specific city/town must be filled with good people, right? Now flip things. The actions of a group in Vancouver on Wednesday night cast an unfavorable shadow over the entire city. Is everyone in Vancouver a thug? Of course not, but what's disturbing, and quite honestly doesn't help their case, is that the thugs that chose to represent their city in that manner only helped to cement an image of "what's possible if Vancouver loses." Had this not happened in 1994 following the same scenario (Game 7 loss in the Finals), it may not prove to be as significant as it may be in the following weeks/months/years. But the fact that it has now happened twice creates an unfortunate sense of doubt for any future visitors to the great city of Vancouver. Think about it. From this point on, if you're a visiting fan during the playoffs, is there not at least a tiny bit of your brain somewhat concerned about your personal health and safety just from showing up and supporting your team?? Let's face it, 99% of Vancouver's fan base can be considered good people, but because certain individuals decided to represent their city in a despicable manner now leaves the team and the city with an unfortunate public relations nightmare. And concerning the riot itself, there's something else to consider as well. I realize it's human nature to stop and gawk at anything out of the ordinary. However, it should be noted that the crowd of onlookers doesn't help matters. Rioters play to a crowd. And these days it's a double edge sword. On one hand, thousands of onlookers are able to capture the events with cameras and help to bring justice to those involved in the crimes. BUT, if the crowd had simply dispersed, what's left? Rioters and cops. Simplifies things, no? I'm not saying everyone's guilty, but I'm not saying they're entirely innocent either. Realistically they didn't do much to help the situation. Just look at the following pics. Take away the crowd from the background, and it becomes a handful of jacka$$es committing crimes. WITH the crowd, it looks slightly different. There's the rioters directly involved in criminal acts, and within the onlookers there's folks who sympathize but don't wanna get their hands dirty, mindless sheep, and people who are disgusted at what they're seeing and using their cameras to document it for lawful purposes. Can you positively tell who's who in the crowd? I bet the rest of the world can't either. Bottom line - Vancouver's still a great place, and one city I'm very anxious to visit one day. Fact remains though, we're all equally responsible for representing our own hometowns in everything that we do, and because of events like these, Vancouver has a lasting impression that's tough to permanently erase. On a lighter note, this year's NHL and NBA playoffs have helped to create a wonderful new term. Go B's! "Hi, I was born without a brain."
  18. Must be your humility.
  19. They just smoked cars instead. Stay classy, Vancouver.
  20. I thought Vancouver was supposed to win in 5? What happened?
  21. It's nice of LAX to leave a noose out for anyone who just can't take it anymore.
  22. Loved every bit of this report, Joey!
  23. I guess it really depends on what the rest of your family is into. It's honestly a coin toss between the two parks as far as the overall quality of a park visit is concerned. Flippers or four legs....what's more enticing to you and your family?
  24. Very true. Although, I guess you could make an argument for Spaceship Earth being in that category as well....for the most part anyway. By the way, when is Aspatuck gonna get their own boat ride?
