  1. We were down 0-2 after the first two games at home, and won in 7 games....all while never scoring a single power play goal in the entire series, but we're just "lucky?" Interesting reasoning there. I like to look at it as Montreal being as bad at closing out a series as we were against Philly last year. EDIT: Okay, nothing was as bad as our collapse last year, but still...
  2. I wouldn't be so quick to judgement in this case. Honestly, considering the ride's location, it's an outright miracle it's survived as long as it has....AND in the exceptional condition it has. I'm willing to bet this wasn't brought on by lack of "good" management.
  3. Hang on, I've got Prince Desmond on speed dial.
  4. Yes, his "medial collateral labia." Scott "couldn't resist" B.
  5. Must resist urge to fire off a string of Jay Cutler jokes. Must resist urge to fire off a string of Jay Cutler jokes. Must resist urge to fire off a string of Jay Cutler jokes..... I do wish Holiday World the best with the event though!
  6. Does anyone know if the actual cheetahs have begun testing? According to Wikipedia... If they don't match this I'm gonna be pissed.
  7. Joe - I've glanced at that Bugatti for the last couple days, and I still can't decided whether I like it or not. David & Matt - The MR2's just never did it for me. But David, I LOVE that you're gonna drive yours until the wheels fall off. That's a true car owner! Cameron - I just saw one of those at a car show in Chattanooga this past weekend, and it was in great condition too! It definitely stood out amongst the sea of American muscle on display there. I wish I had taken a pic of it now.
  8. You do realize it's supposed to resemble the tropical island setting on which the movie was shot, right? I mean, the nerve of them trying to replicate the look of the buildings in the film, etc. Ugh.
  9. I'm assuming he won't put it near Citi Field.
  10. Pretty much, although I'll throw in the RX-7 and Audi Quattro as food for thought.
  11. ^ Cool. Tell him I like the way that article was written and laid out. The Beetle is like the 911. It's doomed to always look basically the same. If either company dared change it dramatically, it'd get the "New Coke" reaction from its fan base.
  12. How long until the next hiatus?
  13. All of which are equally pointless to own, with the exception of the Ram (if you're a construction worker or have a need to tow things). By the time you're finished driving this one, you pretty much will have. Think about it. I'm currently researching ways to piss away my money as well. I'm debating between throwing it off the Grand Canyon Skywalk, building a KKK museum in South Central L.A., or selling all my belongings and buying William and Kate a nice wedding gift. This is the single greatest response ever posted to TPR.
  14. Wait, is Buddha cradling a manatee?!?
  15. ^ Guilty as charged. Best aerials I've ever seen of the place.
  16. ^ I'm pretty sure it was the largest. It's also still my favorite one ever. At least parts of it are still visible.
  17. ^ LOVE it! Joe - Just remember to check for dead bodies in the boot. David - The Countach is still one of my favorite cars ever made! Ace - I've always wanted to drive a MacLaren, if for nothing else, just the feel of sitting in the center of the car.
  18. I think you just set the UK back a century or so.
  19. Whatever it is, I hope it's worth the viral campaign. From time to time, I forget Fahrenheit even exists.
  20. I'm pretty particular about the wheels as well, Joe. My tastes are always changing a bit, but I actually don't mind a large percentage of exotics to have aftermarket wheels, as long as they compliment the vehicle and not compete for attention with it. I also really like the current trend of black wheels, but there's just something about those "Fooses" on the Aston that didn't quite blend correctly. I guess it's because I've come to associate Foose with resto-mod American muscle instead? Anyway, here's something I caught on another forum somewhere that I thought was kind of fun to see. Post a pic of your favorite production car from the year of your birth. Mine is a..... ...1974 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS Spyder. So choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend one.
  21. Okay, yeah, I think I see what they're saying. Still, that's a HUGE stretch.
  22. ^ Perfect example!! And with that, hopefully everyone will relax a bit now.
