  1. Or just do away with it? I've always disliked that rule anyway.
  2. Zach, you're gettin' really good with that camera!
  3. I still haven't eaten at T-Rex. That needs to change.
  4. http://www.theoatmeal.com is priceless.
  5. ^ They pretty much said you'll never see a Koenigsegg, Zonda, Veyron, etc. there....ever. In fact, none of the "ultimate driving adventures" that have sprung up all over the place will probably ever offer you something along those lines. You think the insurance is high with what they have now.......
  6. ^ Agreed. I can't quite remember the timeline, but somewhere around the announcement that they'd be at the Disney track, the company asked fans to actually name the "experience," sign up for updates, and take part in a poll that asked which 5(?)vehicles they should showcase. I'm curious how much of that solicited advice they actually used? Three of my suggestions made the cut. Left out were the Aston Martin DB9 and the GT-R. As for the paddles, I've driven an older model Maserati with early-generation shifters, and wasn't too impressed. However, they've come a LONG way since then, and I'll definitely use 'em in the 458 for the authentic experience.
  7. And on the subject of Micky Arison......... WOW. SOURCE
  8. ^ Yep, I've probably eluded to it before somewhere in this thread, but I've always considered Carnival's CEO, Micky Arison, to be the worst billionaire CEO on the planet.....and this event doesn't help his cause any.
  9. You can literally feel the frustration from the Italian Coast Guard Captain in that transcript. I love that the ship's captain tries to justify why he can't return to the ship, nevermind the fact that he shouldn't have ever left it in the first place. So funny, yet so incredibly sad. General human behavior, plus the lack of responsibility and accountability just continue to baffle me on so many levels.
  10. I've watched the show about a dozen times, and while I understand how he could be like nails on a chalkboard to some people, I sympathize with the man. Have you seen his sisters? It's amazing he hasn't killed one by now. Oh, and the Oreo cake looks delicious.
  11. I'm thinking there's probably a considerable amount of boosters interested in all of this. It's actually more interesting than the game. I'm setting my DVR for the eventual 30 For 30 documentary!
  12. ^ Very sad indeed. I also heard that the older couple from Minnesota, who remains missing, reportedly used their life savings to take that cruise. EDIT: Here's a little more on them: Link
  13. Yeah, I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but I agree with Larry. Seeing how the game played out, those reports don't seem that unreasonable at all. No coach worth his weight wouldn't at least make a QB change at some point into the 3rd quarter.......unless it's a coach with an ego bigger than the state of Louisiana.
  14. Stuff like this always seems to go overlooked by many. While a LOT certainly went wrong, a LOT went right too. Loss of life is definitely unfortunate under any circumstance, but the percentage in this situation is pretty impressive.....all things considered.
  15. Yep, it's pretty humorous to see the after effects of something like this. In reality, they should be far more concerned about being raped or murdered than their ship ending up on the ocean floor. People are stupid.
  16. ^ I'm not sure of what methods will be used to temporarily patch the hole, but afterward, I imagine a fleet of tugs will stabilize, and then pull it into port?
  17. From everything I've read, there sure were a lot of captains on the bridge that night. I think I'll hold off until more information surfaces.
  18. I think the yellow outline around "Theme Park Review" is a bit harsh on the eyes. And there's maybe a couple really minor things I'd pull from the other top contenders. Other than that, Jack's is pretty dead on.
  19. Way to finish the report strong, Joey! Well, all except for coming home to busted glass. Blaming Angus seems logical though.
  20. I'll go ahead and include Adam, and Colin too. Bastards.
