  1. ^ That's not a confirmed 50 point score, Larry. It could've still easily rimmed out. I'm sad the report's over.
  2. People are actually paid to design this stuff. All it does is confirm that TPR absolutely NEEDS to create their own ride one day.
  3. Where's that guy that once proclaimed Visionland would be the next WDW? It's still one of my favorite TPR moments ever.
  4. I need to retract my previous submission then, and go with Lake Winnie to be geographically correct.
  5. For the record, I couldn't care less where it goes. However, I will laugh if it does go there.
  6. There's a difference?
  7. Has anyone from GG's or HW's staff ever been able to take a test run with the Timberliners, or did they not even progress past water dummies? Just curious, since I haven't followed it in years now.
  8. ^ Interesting process, with really cool results! Yeah, I grew up in Fort Lauderdale. When I worked at a golf course, I had several close calls with lightning, and saw some weird things happen too. I've seen rouge bolts from storms seemingly ten miles off, and I even watched one bolt bounce off three items (tree, pop-up tent, golf cart) about 15 feet from me....which was scary as hell. There was even a news story with witnesses who saw a guy on the beach watching a storm well off shore when a rogue bolt picked him up and threw him 20 feet. Lightning really is awesome to watch, but that stuff scares the crap out of me these days. I'll never forget hauling arse off of Dollywood's ropes course a couple years back when a storm suddenly rolled in. Talk about walking around on a lightning rod! lol Anyway, if you do happen to get more, definitely post it.
  9. First Ferrari, now this. Interesting anyway.
  10. Like, um, lightning? Cool video, but it's not something I'd ever attempt. After growing up in the "lightning capital of the world," I've seen enough go bad to abide by the rule of thumb for lightning......if you can see it, it's close enough to f up your world. I've had my close encounters with it, and it's the one thing I take absolutely no chances with anymore. So exactly how many frames was that anyway?
  11. For me, European styling and handling + Japanese reliability + American muscle = the perfect car. Still haven't seen one of those roll off the line though. As is, if money's not an issue, I'll always lean towards Europe first.
  12. ^ lol. That's a great looking design.....for a gift shop.
  13. It's the story that never dies. Truly riveting.
  14. Yes, I'm rather certain this is exactly how it all went down. When will those boys ever get to grow up and make decisions own their own?!? Roger Goodell and the Player's Association should really step in and finally try to liberate those nice young men from that wretched overlord, Archie Manning. Oh, the horror.
  15. I can't believe this thing looks like a roller coaster. You'd think Busch could do something about that, no?
  16. Jason did this last year. Here's a look. This is still the only way I'd consider sailing with Carnival.
  17. Damn, somehow we missed the mini "Food & Wine Festival." When was that....the last day at sea?
  18. I'm an outsider to the hobby, but this is pretty cool nonetheless.
  19. Memento = one of the most underrated films ever. This was brilliant.
  20. The company's name is Carnival. So it's basically laying it out for you right there....sort of like traveling to Vegas and staying at Circus Circus. You pretty much know you're not going to get 5-Star accommodations and Michelin 3-Star dining. Carnival exists because it can, and I'm okay with that. There's tiers to everything in life, and Carnival is generally the lowest tier on the ocean. It's only frustrating when some people try to proclaim it as a much better experience than what it really is. Some people enjoy low rent sailing, and that's fine......just don't pretend it's not....or that their track record for general operations is worthy of any true praise. I'm glad TPR was able to take the bullet for us all, and showcase what it's generally all about.
  21. Dude, simmer down. Your obnoxious fanboy attitude in defense of your favorite player is nauseating. Oh, and when the first word of your response is grammatically incorrect, it can really go nowhere but downhill from that point on. Seriously, give it a rest.
