  1. That is brilliant! Allure just keeps sounding better and better.
  2. So it'll be "Tron Track" now, eh? http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2012/04/new-renderings-depict-a-reimagined-test-track-at-epcot/
  3. Then it doesn't belong here.
  4. The reflection shot is full of win. Aerial shots always rule. Great report, guys!
  5. I guess the best way to explain it is that it's just one of those things that triggers memories for a lot of people who have been going to the park since the beginning. The bird doesn't, and never did play a big role in anything, but it was just a simple Disney touch that a lot of people remembered from the park. It's similar to the astronauts that used to adorn the Space Mountain sign, the RCA dog, or even the parrot that used to sit out front of Pirates of the Caribbean. None of 'em had big roles, but were memorable in their own ways. Rest assured, as with almost anything these days, if a company can profit off of the "retro-ness" of something......they will. In this case, it's just a cool little bird that they created. Hope that helps, or makes some kind of sense.
  6. Ha! I had it at 4,999,999. I must've missed one. But yeah, sometimes it's just the simple things like this that really bring back memories for the WDW fans out there, myself included. It's nice to see someone on staff appreciate something like this, and then push for it to happen!
  7. Hookers and drugs.
  8. It really says something when your mini golf is more impressive than your "Cinematic Spectacular" laser/fountain/whatever you wanna call it show. On the other hand, it was probably the most elaborate advertisement for Netflix I've ever seen. Well, the 30 seconds or so that I could stomach.
  9. David Stern is no Roger Goodell.....and that's a shame.
  10. Dave, this is not acceptable. Remember, losers try their best.....winners go home and nail the prom queen. Seriously though, enjoy it!
  11. Each night, aquariums and marine parks should re-label their shark and dolphin/penguin/etc. tanks during the overnight hours. Problem solved.
  12. ^ That site is generally full of pretentious Lambo owner dbags and wannabe pretentious Lambo owner dbags, so the story seems legit....but still amusing nonetheless. It was rather refreshing/surprising that he actually refrained from handing out a beatdown. I guess you can score it Snowball - 1, Hell - 0
  13. Nice. I know the guy who, chances are, probably detailed a good percentage of those cars. He works in Columbus, and has Ferraris shipped to him from all over the country. Thanks for posting those beauties. This thread can never have too many F-cars.
  14. That Artest shot was brutal. Whatever he gets, I'd tack on an additional 20 games just for the ironic hypocrisy regarding his idiotic name change. Effing moron. I got it as a toss up...Miami or Seattle, with San Antonio as the dark horse.
  15. I got to drive one yesterday, and while I really love the looks of the car, it's just a shame there's nothing under the hood worth writing home about. I hear it gets great gas mileage though....so yeah. EDIT: Okay, this sounds (and looks) a little better...
  16. <------------This guy. Nah, I wouldn't go that far, but this would certainly seal the deal for RCCL's awesomeness, and Allure as the best ship in the world. Scott "buying JB tickets for the ATL show when I get home" B.
  17. ^ Several things come to mind: A) So they died from a lack of exposure? It really is sad then that their story is only now being covered. Seriously, since the copy editor was either away, asleep, or nonexistent, take 10 seconds and craft a better and more intelligent sentence, man. B) LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Oh, Carnival. C) I love the irony that a man name Gilligan was the first passenger to spot the boat in distress. D) I really hope the passenger's story is true, and if so, that the captain is punished to the full extent of the law. You DO NOT, under any circumstances, ignore a possible distress signal at sea. On the surface it seems as though someone had a deadline to meet....which wouldn't surprise me, considering the company in question.
  18. I do! And it's so nice to see that, and Orange Bird back! Thanks for the update, Adam.
  19. We have our host for Coachella 2013!
  20. Internet expression 101..... How exactly could that be misconstrued as anything but an honest desire to see someone injured? If you're trying to sound sarcastic, then make it obvious, or at least add a " " to it.
  21. ^They wouldn't be the first 1 to lose to an 8.
  22. So??? Where's the news here? So you're saying if your team's getting beat down in every way possible, that you wouldn't wanna see your captain show some emotion (aka balls) and do anything possible to win? As young as you are, you have no frame of reference, but let me tell you, it's more than Gretzky ever did! Furthermore, add in the fact that Crosby, for all we (and highly trained medical personnel) know, is one head shot away from a lifetime of miserable headaches or worse, and it becomes even more impressive.....at least to me anyway. In my opinion, you really need to quit playing so much armchair quarterback, man. Maybe your parents need to just take the TV away completely? I don't. I hate uneducated "fans." Just sayin'.
  23. From RCCL's blog: LINK Damn, a craft beer brewery on board would have been kickarse! Oh well, at least they're aware and working to expand the offerings.
