Nice racers there Braztaz, I think it would have a little bit better look to it if there was a larger hill placed after the short hops leaving the lift hill(s) kind of like the racers at KI have. Puts a little height at the other end of the ride, slows the ride down for a few seconds and gives you the chance to put in a chain at the top to simulate the tink, tink, tink anti-rollback noise that wooden coasters have on slower hills. Yes it will be on a lakeside boardwalk when the theme for the area of the park is complete. -
Thunder Lakes - RCT2

I just need to stop worrying about messing up current games and the object quest I am on and just uninstall WW/TT and try it out myself like I did with the stalls and then put everything back in. At the moment my objdata folder is holding well over 15,000 items. I still have hundreds of parks to open in search of more so I have to keep both expansion packs installed for the time being. I am creating a personal object/ride/stall database of every possible item I can find so I can help anyone who asks for a DAT that they are missing or for anyone who sees an object somewhere like at the RCT2 Object List site and can't find a download for it. Kind of like a warehouse for DATs. -

Was wondering how you were going to pull this ride together. WELL DONE -
I used to try to post videos like you did, I would suggest you switch over to YouTube and use the link button provided when you post to list it. It works much better and or use the coastertube link button. Have to say it looks great though, this is coming from someone who had RCT3 but can't play it in this crappy computer. Good luck to you and your project!

This is for a member of another site but if he's having the issue(s) figured others might also. Issue1; African - Oasis, guests trying to enter map were there is no path an piling up at the maps edge. Issue2; South America - Rio Carnival, guest entering map where there is no entrance into the park. My version of African - Oasis did not have the problem mentioned above so it is just a copy of my version. The South America - Rio Carnival was fixed using 8cars to move the entry point to where it belongs. These two scenarios are meant to be direct replacements for the in-game versions. To install you need to remove the old versions of these scenarios by going to; My Computer --> Local Disc (?) --> Program Files --> Infogrames Interactive (or Atari) --> RCT2 --> Scenarios Once removed simply double click on the new one in the zip and it will install itself. The closest thing you are going to find like that is HERE about the 10th post down. Of course it is not a real ride. There are two real rides that are much smaller but are based off the same idea (they don't go over the top though). AE's guests are way out of scale for the game but the animation is great. The LOTR ride is just plain perfect (all the LOTR rides are great). In case you want them and don't have them... LOTR-ECF.DAT AE-RIPSW.DAT -
^ You can't get there from START --> ALL PROGRAMS... those are just program shortcuts. You need to go to "My Computer" and open your main drive, in my case it is "Local Disk (C:)". Open it and find the folder named "Program Files". From there find the "Infograms Interactive" folder. Inside will be the main "RCT2" folder, open it up. You should find 6 more folders, the one you want is called "ObjData". Place the rides from the ZIP in that folder. Close it out and try to load the saved game that matches your version of RCT2. At this point you will see a "Checking Objdat" message. Once it finishes the rest of the custom content will load and a second "Checking Objdat" message will appear. At the end of this action is where there is the possibility of getting an "Error Trapper" message. Basically it happens sometimes because it took the game too long to load. If it did happen just load it again and it will finish loading and open the park. Be patient these loading times are slow. My Computer --> Local Disc (? --> Program Files --> Infrograms Interactive (or Atari) --> RCT2 --> Objdata Thank you for your interest in my park, please let me know if you have any further problems. FYI, by loading this park your game will have a lot of new items in it, some you may not want to keep! Always make a BACKUP COPY of your "Objdata" folder and store it somewhere safe so you can restore your game back to it's original content. ^^ Retro_Gaga, THANKS You made my day!

^ I agree, are you planning to send it into NE or are you just going to release it? Either way it looks like it will be a fun park to play around in and I look forward to it. -
^Make sure your trying to load the version that is right for you. With the expansion packs or without. The ride file included in the ZIP file is needed for BOTH versions. They need to be manually installed into RCT2's ObjData folder. To get to your main RCT2 folder you need go to "My Computer", "Program Files" and then "Infogrames Interactive" or "Atari" depending on what version of RCT2 you have. Once you get there open up the main RCT2 file and find the folder named "ObjData". Copy and paste all the rides from ZIP file into the folder and try to load the park. If it error traps don't worry about it and try to load it again. It happens sometimes. All the custom scenery will load automatically. ^^Chris, I am so sorry this park is causing you this issue. I have had the same problem in the past myself with parks and/or just scenery installations. To fix it I have always just had to go through my ObjData folder and try to find any files that have unusual DAT names. These two are just examples not real DAT items. KKSE1145i < notice is has 9 id letters, max should be 8. bug23bynitronerd < they somehow put their name in with the DAT id. The fastest way to find bad DAT's is to use the DATChecker Program (attached to this post). Once you load your main ObjData folder into it look for any object that has a RED or YELLOW flag next to them. Once you find one open your games ObjData folder and find the file. Remove it from file and put it on your desk top. Try to load RCT2. If it loads you found the problem DAT if not look for more DAT's with RED or YELLOW flags. I hope this fixes your issue. It has always worked for me. The water park itself should not be the issue, it only has well known rides and objects in it and they should all be green flaged. DatChecker.zip DATCHECKER

^^ If you still want to see the park I can (or you can) ask nin to post a version with export plugins checked but like Stoksy wrote there really isn't much to the place. What is done in the park though is done very well. -

Isn't a Himalaya the 3rd ride down in my last post?, and as for a Troika type ride, I have 6 different ones. I am posting the one that looks closest to what CP has but if you would like the others I will post those also. Honestly they are not very good animations and to keep your park looking good I suggest substituting this ride with something different. Just my opinion though. setrabnt.dat ride object. SETRABNT.zip For those wondering what the skeeball.dat object is, here is a picture it... and the 1kbulsrc.dat objuct is a small bush. -

^ lol, in that case a HUGE thank you to you robmiester then. I was unaware the task has switched hands. Now that the park is released here is the last preview for the park filmed many months ago. It is a video of the Reef Expedition Snorkeling Adventure only available in the expansion pack version release. During your underwater journey you will encounter a beautiful coral reef, dolphins, sharks and ship wrecks. It is one of the two rides that require the expansions to view the other would be the swim with dolphins experience. Enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KXnR_yhCYY ...sorry the videos audio is still causing me problems.

Thanks for bringing that park with the spinning coaster in it up. I totally forgot about it. It has been sent in for judging I believe so it should definitely be out in a few months. That park is (from what I've seen in pictures at NE) going to be amazing! Going to have to do a little search over at NE for the new spinning coaster you mentioned, I never heard or seen anything about it. Head over to NE to see a few pictures of the RCT1 spinner... NE ...they are about half way down the page.
