  1. They all look very nice, it's like you get better as they go. So I am a bit confused are you done with the parks and moving on to new ones or are you still working on them all? If they are stopping points I would love to see them in person. So glad you decided to join the fun and post your work!
  2. Your buildings are improving so fast, and the coaster looks like a great ride. Amazing what a few trees do for it. The entire park is coming along very well!
  3. I don't know how your getting that much detail on your structures without using 8cars! Just amazing! < a little arrow head bang for your efforts.
  4. Your improvements to the park are continuing at a nice steady pace.
  5. 10ryansmith - Building the X coaster lift over top of any kind of coaster and then lowering it down over it should do the job every time. I makes no since for it not to work for you. However below is a zip containing all the custom catwalks that look really well with the game. Kind of glitchy when the train is on the lift(s) but other than that a very nice set. Been wanting to play around them them and lower them just a bit to see if it solves the glitch issue. Just haven't gotten around to it yet djbrcace1234 - Your not the first player with this problem, it usually has something to do with the version of Windows your are using. If possible try changing the compatibility for 8cars to XP or earlier. Mastersax68 - I am so happy you were able to get this flashing load bar of death issue resolved. Please don't let this issue stop you from downloading other peoples parks. All you need to do is keep a backup of your Objdata folder so if by chance it should ever happen again all you have to do is swap them out. Catwalks RCT2.zip The scenery tab is also in the zip.
  6. So far the only thing closing is the forums. It is uncertain how long before the downloads are gone also. I would assume since all the downloads are free and the only game content that is legally copyrighted is RCT2 itself there would be no issues with posting them here or anywhere else for that matter. After all anyone who downloads a park get all the content that goes with it anyway. So if someone did complain about there just being items available as downloads all you have to do is put them all in a park and distribute them that way. So the complaint would be useless. As for putting all the amazing content here for download I think the best way to go about it would be to ask mcjaco to talk to Robb about it and see if it's cool with him to eat up that much site space with such things. After all he's the one paying for all this and the more content that's here the more it costs to keep this place running. Keep this in mind though, the good people over at the RCT2 Object List site no doubt have everything from RCTMart in storage somewhere. Every item they have listed has a download button, however it is uncertain if they will ever actually get the function working. As it stands now if you want an item listed you have to ask for it in the forums. Have to give them 2 big thumbs up for all the work they do there. While it's not the most ideal way of file distribution and I am sure it eats up a lot of their time filling out requests. Almost 100% of the time if you want/need an item they will find it for you and put it up for you to download.
  7. ^ Sorry about that, I messed up. Try again I don't know what happened when I put Vanilla Hills into the ParkDat, but it said I was missing those files. When I tried to load the ones you supplied I was asked if I wanted to replace the files I already had. So I tried to open the park and it loaded without any problems. Still need the following DAT's to get SFI to open. I will start asking around and see what pops up. AA2A AA3A 4 5 6 AWIN1A AWIN2A 2A < olddtfan51 found them all. Now I have a new problem, the ParkDat says I have everything I need to open the park but RCT2 is saying I am now missing ACWW33. I have a ACWW33 in my Objdata folder. It makes no since. I wonder if mine is corrupt or something. If someone would please take a moment and pull ACWW33 out of there Objdata folder and post it I would greatly appreciate it. EDIT: Well I have tried replacing my ACWW33 with a different version of it and SFI will still not open. So below is a ZIP file with the DATs listed above. Maybe your ACWW33 will let you into the park. Also below are the rides needed for the park. Missing DATs.zip Rides.zip
  8. Well, welcome to TPR. You seem to have a great eye for detail, the only thing I can see missing from your pictures are metal crossbeams on your wood coaster where the tracks pass over top of each other and that isn't even necessary. But with the level of detail you have everywhere else it sure wouldn't hurt to put them in. What in the world happened over there at Atari to make everyone jump ship?
  9. Just want to give everyone the heads up that one of the last remaining RCT mega sites will be shutting down their forums in the coming weeks. It is uncertain how much longer the download store will remain open. Why everyone abandoned the place is beyond me. The site has everything an RCT player could ever want, from the basic RCT game to the beginnings of RCT3. Anyway, if you have never gone shopping at the Mart I highly suggest you click on the link in my signature and get busy and if you have in the past you might want to stop by and make sure you didn't miss anything. Clearance items always go fast. If are a member you might want to stop by the forums and say your goodbyes to those who made and maintained one of the best if not the best RCT sites ever created and if your not a member sign up and and say thank you for all the wonderful FREE content you have in you Objdat folder.
  10. You big goof, I was kidding. Of course I know that is the RCT version of the real sign. Guess I need to work on my sarcasm. Anyway I was so disappointed when I didn't have time to really look at the sign when I was at SFMM a few months ago. Only had time to visit the park one day and was trying to get around to all the coasters. I was using the Flash Pass but since they were only running 1 train on most of the coasters that day I still didn't make it to all of them and of course when you use the Flash Pass you don't get to go through the big Goliath sign. Come to think of 9 parks I visited on that trip, the day at SFMM was the worst, the park was nice and all but the parks operations suck! Anyway, like I said it does look good in the park and I hope you succeed in making it more visible. It is one of my favorite RCT scenery items although I don't think I have ever used it. Then again I have never made a Six Flags park either.
  11. That Goliath sign is so cool, looks like stone. To bad real Six Flags parks don't use signs like that. All stupidity aside, it really does look nice in the park.
  12. On Road Runner also, must just be my old computer. The new buildings look great and so does the updated supports on the coaster look much better.
  13. Yes I agree, and I would like to know how your doing that.
  14. Well in that case you have improved a bunch since your first parks. Since they are your parks I am going to assume you have the missing DATs that I don't so if you get the chance please go into your Objdata folder, open up the search function and find them for me. Thanks! Anyway on to the real TML parks. I was able to get them all to open without any problems. Each park has a ride file, while many of the parks have several of the same rides, they each have a many different one's also. So if your just after some rides you may never have seen before here's your chance to check them out in gameRides.zip The ride files for all 6 parks. 15. That is one mean looking coaster, I it! Really liking all the crazy roof angles as well.
  16. To get Vanilla Hills open I need the following DAT's XXRFMT19 XXRFMT20 XXRFMT21 XXRFMT25 XXRFMT26 XXRFMT27 XXRFMT51 To get Six Flags Italy open I need the following DAT's AA2A AA3A 4 5 6 AWIN1A AWIN2A 2A Well what can I say about the Six Flags Jurassic Park made TLM... it's definitely his early work Six Flags Jurassic Park.zip SFJP Rides.zip
  17. Build your track, then build the Heartline on top. By default the game should place the Heartline 10 game feet about the track under it. Example: the bottom track is at 5ft., you build the Heartline above it. Unless you raised it yourself the game would place it at 15ft. In the 8cars trainer that would mean you need to lower it -2 (=10 game ft.) Open 8cars ride menu find your Heartline Coaster track. Put a check in the box for raise or lower. Select the color scheme for the action - main, alternative 1, 2 or 3 (whatever the track is) Move the raise/lower selector to -2 and hit apply. When you go back to the game it should have lowered the Heartline 10ft right on top of the other track. If that doesn't work, I would like to know what version of 8cars you are using, version of RCT2 you have installed and what operation system you are using.
  18. 8cars only works to change tracked vehicle types. Example: Wooden Coater train onto Steel Coaster track. You can not just plop down a twist ride and change it a swinging ship. If there is some ride, stall, or scenery item(s) you need for the park, download the ParkDat. There is a picture of what all the numbers mean. Copy it and save it somewhere for easy reference, I keep is as the wallpaper on my PC. Don't go over the maximum number of items for each category! The game has limits as you know and if you use this tool to go around those limits the game will crash. Also always make a backup of your park under a different name in case you mess up the origanl using the too.
  19. Sorry if this comes of as disrespectful to those injured and dead. It is not meant to be, but I just watched a video of this ride in action from the manufacturer's site posted several pages back and it sure does look like one fine fun ride! Like the swings at Knotts and Mt Olympus, and the giant one at CP with the added fun of the spin you get from a Skyscraper. It's like a much larger version of the old swing ride at Glenwood Springs. Hope they get what ever caused the problem worked out and I really hope that when I get to a park that has one it will still be working. "Me" wants to ride it!
  20. That looks great, and thank you for switching over to JEPG's the picture loaded instantly.
  21. Yep, it sure does look 100% better than before. Well Done!
  22. I need the following files please: SMALL SCENERY TTPRFA01 TTPRFA02 TTPRFA03 TTPRFA04 TTPRFA07 TTPRFA08 WALL 11 1A RCT2 Object List PATH JATIPBg Thanks to anyone who was also looking! Here at the other two TLM items that no one could ever get to open. voyage_210.zip Thunderhead.zip Rides Zip.zip
  23. Yes, use the ParkDat, once you open a park in it all items in the park will be listed. Any that you don't have say "Object Not Found" Keep in mind that the only ones you usually need to worry about are the rides, everything else should load when the park does. Unless it didn't have the "Export Plug-ins" checked when it was saved. You can find the ParkDat HERE. It is a real simple tool to use. There is a picture on the page with the ParkDat. Copy and save it, it tells you what all the numbers mean. Just put it and the dll's into a folder and start it up, click on the little box next to the type box and navigate to the park you are wanting it to open. Hit the open button and the park will load. Make a note of any RIDE dat's your missing and put them up here and myself or others will jump in and help you out.
  24. Yes you could and in fact making it invisible is the easy part, however if you just make the rapids ride invisible you will still need to put the lifts back in and that is what most of the Rapids ride "How To" is all about. Sometimes going invisible with a ride is as simple as just a few clicks in 8cars other times it is not. Example, for most of the day I was trying to make a version of what you were making a few posts up. I was using B&M track for the base, had Giga track sitting above it ready to drop down, used the Inverted Launch for the up and over and had it sitting over 100 game feet in the air ready to be dropped down and have a really nice looking TTD type ride. All I had left to do was make the B&M track invisible. Well it Error Trapped on me over and over. Then I realized I used block brakes on the ride. Well you can't do that when you make a ride invisible. So I removed the block brakes and tried again. Error Trapper! and then another one and another one till I realized I had used the large radius turns in a few places. Well guess what, you can't use those either when you make rides invisible. So I removed the large turns and tried again. This time it worked... FAIL! When the train got to the end of the flat launch track and was about to go up the hill it Error Trapped again. I tried several more times, changed things to Powered Launch, then Boat Hire, and then a few other things only to have it Error Trap again and again. So it is not always EASY.
