^ RCT and RCT2 not sure about RCT3. Ever use the Elissa White name cheat in the game where the guest gets exited about Intamin Rides. Elissa White is Robb's wife/SharkTums. Sorry to hear that about the Giga Looper, It is used in a lot of parks. May sounds strange but have you tried just loading it in by itself and see if it will except it that way? Worth a shot. -

Interesting use of the Spinning Wild Mouse car. I like it. -
The little ghosts look great. So whats going on with the Monorail track(s) in that second picture? How much of that is funtional? Also I see you switched to Bumper Boats instead of the of Barrel River Rapids ride. I do like the change. Did you not find the Barrel Bumper Boats or did you just decide not to use them. If you couldn't find them I have attached them the post. Love the sea creature in front of the SLC. If that Tram does not have diagonal sections, or 1/4 large truns you can make it invisible and stop the glitching in the parking lot. MetRPir1.DAT

To fix the guest problem you need to build a hidden tunnel in the building or another near by building and bring it back out from underground on the other side of the obstruction inside of another building. Problem solved. Hidden tunnels are you best friend in wide path parks that are open to guests. Is it going to be one of the little S&S shot towers? -

^ ja227's Giga-Looper Trains is what caused your issue? I have to answer this as no it is not possible, no one has the ability to add new track to the game and if it was possible it would require everyone who wants to have or just view a park with it to have a new G1 file. Kind of like those who use RCT2 Modified. It uses an reworked G1 file and anyone who wants to see a park built using it has to have the modified G1 to see it. With that said In reality, it would be possible if someone created a program to allow users to see what track files there are and alter them but no such program for the public exists. I do have one that allows me to see what is in the G1 file but it does not allow me to alter the items and it's in German and I don't understand German. I am sure that someone like Robb Alvey could do it. After all he helped make the game but he seems to have no interest in RCT any longer and as far as I can tell reading posts all the way back to when this site was created never had any interest in altering it in any way from it's current form. -
[RCT2] Tahendo Zoo
dmaxsba2408 replied to nin's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Is this Gatorland a small separate park or is it sitting in the corner of the big map for the Tahendo Zoo? The coaster looks great. Your attention to detail is always stunning. I am working on a new version of the 6 seat wooden coaster that will allow for longer trains. -
One person over at NE said they couldn't get to the download at the RCT2 Object List even with being logged in. I am going to assume that this may be a larger issue affecting many others who just didn't speak up about it. So I am going to post it here also. The download is attached to the first post. Enjoy and tell me what you think about it.

^ the game didn't say what object it was? You can use the ParkDat utility to to find out what your missing. It can be downloaded on page 9 about half way down. When you load a park into it and your missing an object it will say "Object Not Found" but he DAT name will be there. Screw it I will post it again here. That post is kind of confusing. This picture tell you what all the numbers mean in the ParkDat. Rides, Small Scenery, Large Scenery etc. When moving items into the park DO NOT EXCEDE THSES NUMBERS! When moving items out of a park make sure if you have a Scenery Tab you keep at least ONE object in it! The game will crash if you fail to abide by these two rules. Copy this picture and keep it somewhere so you can reference it when needed. I use it as my computer wallpaper. ParkDAT.zip Use this item to find out what DATs are used in a park. Every item in the park will be listed, items that were actually used will have an "X" by there name. DO NOT REMOVE ANY ITEM WITH AN "X". It will also tell you if your missing any DATs needed to open a park by saying "OBJECT NOT FOUND". You can use this utility to add new items to a park, or remove items you no longer want. To do remove an item highlight it in the list and hit the "Delete Selected" button. To add an item hit the "ADD" button and find it in the list that pops up. This is where the two utilities below come in to play. If you want to remove all items in the park that were NEVER used hit the "Delete Unused" and they will all be gone. The "Replace Selected" button is kind of dangerous. If you delete a Large Scenery item and let's say you replace it with a Path you will crash your game. So use it at your own risk. Once your done moving items in or out of the park you hit the "UPDATE HEADERS" button and the "SAVE" DatChecker.zip Use this item to sort, view, delete and reveal bad DATs. It has a lot of uses but you have to click on each item to see a picture of it and then close it before continuing on to the next. It had Green, Yellow and Red flags to help identify bad DATs. This utility needs time to load or it may skip items or place them out of order. It will not lock up on you but you should wait until it is ready. You will know when it is done searching for items when the "SEARCH" button lights back up. RCT2DatPreview.zip Use this item to sort and view DATs very quickly. Unfortunately that is just about all this program is good for. WARNING: this utility needs time to load or it will freeze up so once you select where it is to search for DATs give it time to load. When it is ready the first items picture will show up on the right side. -

^ How was I supposed to know it even needed dll files in the first place! It's not like made the program! I found out where the first one was stored, it was in a folder with the ParkDat. There are 3 others in there also including the new one your needing. I am going to put up all of them separately in case someone does a search for them later. This way they will show up. Wonder... was SV6 Fixer made by the same person who made the ParkDat? rct2Lib.zip MSVCRTD.zip MFCO42D.zip -

I don't know what that dll is but I did a search of my system and I had it somewhere cause it found it. I put a copy in my RCT2 utilities folder incase I ever lose the copy I had. Ran the program on the park Mastersax68 (Dimension Realms of Creation by Kumba) was having loading issues with just to see what it does and I still don't know. But when it was done doing whatever it is it did it ask me if I wanted to replace the version of the park I had with a new version. Anyway your dll is below. MFC42D.zip -

^ I know nothing about RCT3 sorry. The only part of RCT2 that needs Adobe is the manual and that does not need the flash part. So I have no idea what is going on there. I suggest you save any RCT2 files you want to keep and do a complete uninstall and start over. Califolf, I have attached the SV6 Fixer below. I have never used it so I don't know what it does. I hope it solves your problem. sv6_obj_fixer.zip -
^ unfortunately the answer is no. the Giga coaster track does not support such things so there for you cannot just ad animations to it's trains. All you can do is alter the trains to make them look like something else. There is no way to change anything that each coaster type was not hard coded to do. That is why JA did his versions the way he did. He had to get of the Giga track to make it happen. Guest seating is another issue. Each coaster car type has a certain number of seats and seating arrangements that would also make it impossible to do or if possible very time consuming. With that said the more I learn the more I know my limits. After spending a month adding 707 animation sequences to the in games Suspended Monorail trying to enable more than 4 cars per train and having it set up and rendered just to have the game spit it back at me is enough to make me think twice at to what I can do and what I can't. Anyway we will see if any more new or altered items show up from me, can't really say at the moment what I am working on because it will probably be an epic fail like the Suspended Mono rail but I am trying to add a few new quality items to the game and also bring the ability of longer trains on certain coasters without having to use a trainer. The DOWNLOAD for the Mine Train is ready now. So if your a member of the RCT2 Object List come and get yourself something new for the game. If not sign up, the site is an amazing resource for lost DATs.

Do you mean into the game as in RCT2 or into the game as in the game you are working on right now? If you mean into the game your working on right now you need the ParkDat. It's on page 11 about half the page down. Practice with it before you use it in any park that means anything to you and always make a backup of your park before using just in case! If you mean into RCT2 itself you just need to get the DAT's into the ObjData folder and start the game. Once it loads they will be in the ride selection menu when your in the editor. This is something I have been working on for about a month now. It is an altered version of the in game Hyper Coaster much like Amazing Earl did with his Space Mountain coaster. It had required 446 new images to make remove the sloped front car from the Hyper Coaster and replace it with a flat front version that matches the rest of the train. I have tested it in game on all available track for any defects and found only one. The front car is now shorter than the original. To keep it centered on the track the car has to sit in the middle of where the old version sat causing a slightly larger gap between it and the 2nd car than the rest of the train. This distance is hard coded into the ride and there is nothing I can do about it. I took a closer look at AE's coaster and it seems he had the same problem. His gap is not quite as large as mine but then again his front coaster car is longer so it fills in the space a little better. The new Arrow style Mine Train is available HERE at the RCT2 Object List and also a direct download is available right below the two pictures. EDIT: PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANT UPDATE! 8/6/10 Thanks to olddtfan51 from the RCT2 Object List a conflict issue has come up with the original ARRT3 download. When using the ParkDat to import this ride the utility can not distinguish between it and the the other mine train in the game so I have changed the in game name to fix the problem. If you downloaded this ride please re-download and replace the version you have in your ObjData folder with the new one. If you have already used the old ride in a park you MUST remove it before you update your ObjData folder failure to do so will make your park unopenable. Thanks for your time and patience with this issue. I am learning as I go and mistakes are just part of learning. ARRT3.zip This is the updated file 8/6/10, please remove the version in your ObjData folder and replace with this version.

Is that static or did you hack the ride in so the bumper boats move around? Either way great idea and looks good! EDIT, meant to tell you congratulations on getting your water park working! My only suggestion is to use 8cars to 0 clearance the stairs so they take up less space. The instructions for compact path down are in the my first Water Slide "How To" starting at step 11.

This is a common problem with RCT2 when using wide paths. The only way to solve it is to build a path nearby that takes the guest in the direction they are wanting to go. For example if there is a building near by or at the exit they are gathering at build a tunnel path in the direction they are wanting to go, in this case around the ride that is blocking them and then once on the other side of the obstacle build the path back out inside of another building. The guests will use that path to get headed toward the exit. If they get stuck again on the way out repeat the process. This also works when you have a group of guests that are trying to get to a certain ride in the park but get lost (stuck) on the way. Hidden tunnels work great for all guest direction issues. Very simple to do and also very quick. If you have buildings that you are worried about damaging while building the tunnels and paths use 8cars to 0 clearance (absolute) the park. Then dig and build your paths. Restore the clearances back when finished. -

^ Thanks for explaining that! I never new how to make new music files I just knew how to put them in. That makes no sense, the games music and sounds are very simple and should run on even the oldest computers without issue. Sorry it didn't work. I hope you can get it figured out. Mastersax68, I am really sorry. I just read my last post to you and I was a bit rude. Anyway, moving a saved game to another folder or your desktop and opening it from there is fine, I keep mine in a folder for downloaded parks. I was just trying to say you don't need to move them from the zip folder in order for them to open. I really don't have a clue why your having so many troubles with the flashing load bar of death. Maybe it has something to do with Windows2000. All I can say is try not to manually load items into your ObjData folder and then try to open a new park. When you do that the game has to go through 2 checking cycles. One for the item(s) you put in and one for the item(s) the game automatically put in. Having it do both can cause and Error Trapper and the flashing load bar of death. Next time after you manually install an item run the game and let it load. Then after the game is loaded and running exit back out and try to load the new park your wanting to open. This will keep the game from taking to long to load and hopefully keep it from going crazy on you. Just a stab in the dark about an issue that could also be causing your problems, check your ObjData folder and make sure that there are no pictures, text documents or sub folders in there. They also can cause bad things to happen while loading the game. Honestly I can not think of any saved games that you could download from the main NE database that would cause any harm to RCT or RCT2. They have all been downloaded by so many other people (myself included) and if there was a problem with any file someone would say something and it would be fixed. FYI, at this moment I am also having the flashing load bar of death occurring again. This time it was caused by some scenery items I picked up at a German RCT2 site. I thought some the DATs id codes looked funny and I was right. Fortunately I always keep sever version of my ObjData folder around and as I type this the new bad files are being replace by the old good ones. Now I just have to go through the 628 new files that were added to my main ObjData folder before this happened and find the one(s) that are causing the issue. I usually make a new back up at around 1000 new items so I don't have to hunt forever for bad files in case something like this goes wrong. -
