, no need to be defencive, I was just trying to help. You are correct, not all high sections of track always use lattice type supports but you at least need to up size the tube supports to the larger ones to make that kind look happen. Going with the B&M type for the high sections makes them way to small in diameter. Going by the picture you linked to as a guide you need the large supports braced by the smaller ones. Love that picture, it shows just how messed up Arrow was when it came to supports, just about every type of support ever used by Arrow from lattice, large tube, small tube and every combination in between was incorporated into that ride and I love how right before the batwing, they used large tube into lattice into small tube back to lattice and then small tube. Surprised they didn't revert back to the over the top type support on the corkscrews just for fun. Also using Morgan as base is always a good idea since both companies seemed to be joined at the hip when it came to style and you can add Vekoma to the mix also. One again though Morgan often used the larger size tube for supports, while Vekoma generally used smaller types and lattice. -

Forgive me but I don't remember what your referring to in the help thread. What problem(s) are you having getting custom rides into you game are you having? Like the new update, the mine train while short is nicely done and the entire are looks better without the impulse coaster. -

Hate to be the bad guy here but you have support problems. The problem is your supports and the era that this size of an Arrow would have had are all out of whack. Let me try to break this down for you. Unless your going with a Arrow built like Drachen Fire all tall areas of track need to have the lattice type supports like those used on the lift hill. Meaning the high track before the loops is not supported correctly. If you are going for the Drachen Fire type supports then you need to get rid of the lattice on the lift hill and just use normal B&M* type of supports. The other problem is your use of over the top supports on the corkscrew element. In the later years of Arrow, the time frame it looks like you are trying to convey by the size of the ride and number of inversions, those kinds of supports where never used on corkscrew elements. I would really like to see you walk into NE an WIN, however you need to figure out what era Arrow your trying to build because right now it has elements (supports) from Arrow's beginning all the way to when they went bankrupt. While NE seems to have changed what is really important in a Design these days to the surroundings of a coaster being more important than the ride itself the ride still had to be what it is intended to be. *B&M type of supports?, Since Arrow used what is now called B&M style supports when building Drachen Fire before there ever was such a thing as B&M shouldn't B&M style supports really be called Arrow - Drachen Fire supports. -
, While reading and looking at all the pictures, I was wondering if anyone would say anything about the land being at water level. I like the levy system your installing around the area, was very concerned with all this (cough, cough) global warming (cough, BS) going on in the world your park might have gotten washed away if the water lever raised up an inch. Now you better make sure you have a good pumping system to keep the park from flooding when it rains.

^ Where these items that would be in the "?" tab? If so, there are only so many items that will show up there. Once it is full it will drop items off the end. They are still there but you just can't click on them. You just need to find a way to get some more items into one of the other tabs to free up some space in the miscellaneous tab. If you want to have a little fun, find some of the items that are on the top of the "?" tab and in the editor remove them and see what items show up at the bottom. If you do this you will know just how may items you have had drop off the bottom and know how many items you need to find alternatives for in other tabs. -
I agree with all ^. Also, so happy you have all the issue worked out for your park. Sorry still have not gotten around to seeing it in person yet. Had to go take care of a few issues away from home suddenly and am not at my computer. At least I have something to look forward to when I get back home.

^ When you open a park that has custom objects they download into your game automatically. One exception is non-exporting rides. Those you have to put in by hand just as you would if you downloaded a scenery items not in a park. Computer..> Loacal Disc(?)..>Program Files..>Infogrames Interactive (or Atari < Triple Thrill Pack)..>RCT2..>ObjData. Never put pictures or folders in the Objdata folder, only DATs. Also make a backup of your ObjData folder before you start putting in custom items. You may not always like what you get!

Those are really just about the only places to go. However you can always go to the RCT2 Object List site and sign up and search for rare items in the data base. There are 100's of rare rides out there. If you see something you want just put in a request for it. They have a special section for it in the forums. Can you put up a picture of what exactly your having an issue with? You have me a bit confused at what the problem really is after all building with diagonals shouldn't be any different than building with any other items. Vista still being a big pain in the butt, I am so sorry. -

Everything looks great, sorry but I like all 3 of the new possible names so I am of no help there. -
I have decided to just use this same topic for all the coaster work I plan on doing. I am working on making the in-game 6 seat wooden coaster train longer than just 4 cars. At the moment I am up to 5 cars being able to work, not tracking very well at the moment but working. To get around the wooden coasters POS issues keeping it stuck at 4 cars max I am using the POS from the Goliath Hyper Coaster. It's the only other 6 seat coaster that does all the banking available on a wooden coaster. FYI, did you know that the Goliath Hyper Coaster has VERTICAL LOOP ANIMATIONS? Well if you didn't it sure does which means when this is done you will still be able to send a six seat wooden coaster through a loop. Anyway what I am trying to do is make the 6 seat wooden coaster a bit longer to make it match prototype coasters that I grew up riding, the Racers at Kings Island have 6 seat cars and a train that is 5 cars long and The Beast also uses 6 seat cars and has trains 6 cars long. SOB, when the loop was there ran trains with 6 seats and 6 cars long. FYI, the trains on The Beast when it opened over 30 years go were 8 seat cars! So is there any interest for this or am I just crazy?

Outstanding first post! Absolutely love the wave rider sign. -
Happy to see you fixed it, now what's this glitch issue your talking about? I haven't had a chance to see the park yet. If it's a 8cars 0 clearance glitch it is fixable but you will need the SOB to fix it. Open your park and then 8cars and SOB. Use the SOB to 0 clearance the park and wait a minute or so. Now using 8cars restore clearances. Problem should be fixed.

Those of us who are fans of your work keep most of your old files in storage for a very long time. We never could get any of them open till recently. We still can't find your Kool Aid item thought. Sorry. One of these days we will get if though. GREAT to see you around again! -
Really enjoyed looking around in your park. I have a question about the ride To Fly, why is there two entrances to the ride? I can understand having two stations one as an entrance and one as an exit but To Fly has one that is an entrance and one that is an entrance and exit. Forgive me but I can't remember the name of the water coaster boat ride, but it to me is the highlight of the park.

^ It's just an alternative download location. Just pick one. -
Not that I really think it needs to be done but for anyone who sees this and wants to do it here is how you do the Tram on track vs on grass. All you would need to do is make the real track invisible and then lower a fake track down on top of it. The diagonals however are a issue you can't get around.

One very nice looking Junior Coaster. Going to be neat to see what you do with the B&M. So nice to have a standard RCT park going on here at TPR. If you need old any programs for RCT just ask and I will have a look around in my PC. I have lots of them. (patches, pingers, unlock all parks, all kinds of trainers, water ride speed up...) -
I am sorry about this but PLEASE read the the EDIT in the first post! Since the download counters here at TPR still do not work I have no idea how many people this affects but going by the amount of downloads at other sites I am going to assume it's around 20. So for all of you who downloaded ARRT3 prior to 8/6/10 this update affects YOU!
