BARTMAN; Look! It's Poison Lenny! *attacks Lenny* LENNY: Gaah! I'm not a supervillain, I'm a transvestite! *kills Lenny* -
Yes, we did that for about a month before we started training and it did not work well at all. Dogs respond a lot better to distinct and severe sounds than to words. They said that very specifically at our training class. But every dog is different, so if it works for you, go ahead.

Hey folks, I'm back, and I've started my second recreation: Dorney Park. This is one of my personal favorite parks. The atmosphere there is simply unbeatable, there are some very under-rated rides, and the park itself is beautiful. I regret to inform you that I will not be landscaping this park very much or making Wildwater Kingdom (I might change my mind later). Doing landscape would require too much effort. I want this to be as painless as possible. I'm not doing Wildwater Kingdom (again, I might change my mind later) because I suck at waterparks in RCT2 and I don't think they look very good. And I really don't know anything about Wildwater Kingdom. As of this moment, I have finished most of the Talon side of the park's Main Street (Talon included). Talon looks pretty good, IMHO. Main Street is *okay.* It certainly isn't my best work, but I suppose it will do. Like I said, I am going to need a lot of help from all you Pennsylvanians. I have only been to Dorney Park once, so I really don't know it all that well. If you see something wrong, PLEASE tell me, and I will fix it straight away. Also, I need you if I have a question that cannot be answered using RCDB or Dorney Park's official website. Oh yes, and I made sure that I have absolutely no custom rides this time (just some custom scenery), so it should work just fine. Thanks for holding your attention this long. Please enjoy these screens. *Obviously, I will need a lot of feedback with this park.* Up to date. Pretty. ... Too much? Der Griff von Furcht Beautiful supports. Talon. Entrance plaza. Main Street pre-Talon.

^The air on the second hill, as I've said many times and in many places, barely counts. You're maybe a millimeter out of your seat for around five seconds. It's sort of like the feeling you get when you're swimming. Lol, that's right - Mild Thing (the brown one) and Milder Thing (the green one). -

I'm not saying that you shouldn't enjoy it. It just does not offer anything. What, specifically, do you like about it? -
Melling Park (RCT2)

I don't think I actually zipped it up. I only used two custom rides - Firebolt and Whirler. That might be the problem. BTW, I would like to officially announce that my next project is going to be a recreation of Dorney Park. I'm going to need a lot of help with this since I've only been there one time. I won't be doing the landscape. It takes way too much effort and I simply don't have the patience. This is just part of my effort to have RCT2 recreations of all the pre-Paramount Cedar Fair parks (I already have WoF, CP, MIA, and KBF). -

^I've never heard that in my life. GL was empty when I was there last year and it was a Saturday in July. The only line was for X-Flight. Lines usually aren't bad at WoF, but it's never empty. This looks like a pretty normal Saturday to me. Crowded is when Patriot has to use all of its switchbacks and Mamba starts running three trains. -

Are you asking how to download it? A window should open on your page with an icon that takes you to RCT2. If you're saying that the download doesn't work, then I don't know what the problem is. -

^Sorry, but it really isn't a great ride. There aren't forces anywhere. It's like sitting on a bench outside the mall on a windy day. It doesn't even make sense that there aren't forces, because the drop is pretty much identical to Steel Force's and Mamba's (both of which are a lot of fun). -

Big huge OMG enormous update. THE PARK IS FINISHED! WOOOOOOOOO! Ukukwi tested successfuly and I have opened the park to the public. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask. Lots of screens! Last chance to comment! Melling Park.SV6 *crosses fingers* Tada! Here it is, folks, in all its glory. SCR441.BMP OMG, four coasters in one shot! Very pretty. Lovin' the signage. ... ... ... ... Airtime. Here we go... First test run. Trains! Pretty big queue. I bet you get awesome views of the coaster, though. Much better. Bleh. Ugly. That didn't stay long. And the on-ride photo. There's the pesky chain. Voila. Just a bit more. Almost done. ... ... Remeniscent of Magnum XL-200. Lots of supports. ... Brakes installed. Catwalk (this took forever). Still no chain. Lots of positives. I love how this looks. Looks like fun. Drop. -

ANNOUNCEMENT: And the coaster is... UKUKWI This massive roller coaster, manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard, is a steel hypercoaster that features a 215-foot drop, a pretzel-style turnaround, and a figure-eight finale. I guess you could call it a cross between Magnum XL-200, Mamba, and Raging Bull. With some original flare, of course. The first few photos are the "simulation" of the ride. The last few are construction. I <3 comments. Topped off. ... I'm doing my best with the custom supports. I don't have every type that I want, but they'll turn out okay. Parking lot coaster. Sort of. Vertical construction. Woohoo. Footers. Construction. There are three trains: orange, green, and blue. And into the brake run. Figure-eight. Bunny hops. Pretzel-style turnaround. ... 215 feet in the air. Layout. -

^I've been to the park many times, but I enjoy the coasters. One ride on RipCord, two awesome rides on Patriot with no lines, one on Thunderhawk, one ride on Detonator with violent airtime, one ride on Mamba with a completely insane drop (better than any I've ever had on Mamba), three rides on Le Taxitour (between waves), two rides on Flying Dutchman, one ride on Le Carrousel, one horrible ride on Finnish Fling, and half a ride on Octopus. -
BTW, someone said to say "NO" firmly. I remember this at least from our class. That's a big mistake. The word "no" comes up ALL the time in conversation, which will be confusing to your dog. Also, firm sound work better than words. Make a noise like a honking truck or something. We say "Ah Ah" to my dog.

OMG, most AWESOME trip to WoF EVER! The rides were fun and everything, but it started pouring rain at about 4:00. Thank goodness I was under a roof in Europa for the first few waves of the storm. It started to clear up a lot, my friends and I decided to walk around and see what was open. Scrambler was open, but none of us wanted to ride it. That's literally the only thing in the park that was open outside of Europa and Scandinavia (that we could ride). We got to Scandinavia and saw that Octopus was running. We thought we might as well, since it's about the only thing there is. Halfway through our ride it started sprinkling again, and the ride op shut the ride down for inclement weather. And this is just the beginning of the fun! We got of the ride as the rain started to get heavier . We just made it under the shelter by Sunset Strips before it got worse. First it was just raining. Then it was pouring. Then it was dumping walls of water. It kept getting worse and it wasn't letting up at all. I called my dad to tell him that we were okay and under a roof. Then the hail started. After a minute or so of hail, a WoF employee ran down the stairs to us and yelled, "EVERYBODY LISTEN UP! THIS IS A TAKE COVER SITUATION! YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW ME!" So I was freaking out a little. I knew we were under a severe thunderstorm warning and a tornado watch, but I didn't know how bad it had gotten. So we run up the stairs with the crowd. At one point my friend stopped me - "Where's Chase?!" Fortunately, my other friend was only a few yards behind us. For some reason our "take cover" location was even more open. I think they wanted us to go into Tivoli Music Hall, but the doors were locked, so we had to stand under the roof in front of it. Well, it turned out that we only took cover because of the hail. Nonetheless, we were considerably shaken and filled to the brim with adrenaline. I called my dad and told him that we were all just fine. Then I called my mom at home to tell her what was happening. Now it was about 7:00. We were supposed be at WoF until it closed at 9:00. Chase called his mom (the youth director) who said that they were opening the bus and that we were going to leave early. We started to wait for a little break in the severity of the rain, but that never came, so we decided to just run for it. When we got to the bus, our wonderful bus driver had lots of paper towels waiting for us. It was absolutely brilliant. Totally awesome experience. -
I'm currently half-reading Assassination Vacation by Sarah Vowell. I have to read One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest this summer. I generally read fiction that I can sort of relate to. I shy away from fantasy unless it's Harry Potter. And I never like nonfiction all that much unless the author is Sarah Vowell or the subject is interesting.

Custom Supports For RCT2
steel replied to coasterguy4's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Lots better, but you don't need diagonal supports through the entire ride. -

This is the order I usually go. Patriot: Back row, far left side. I'm telling you, you won't regret the wait. Timber Wolf: (if it's open already) ride in the front row first. If you like that, go to the second-to-last row. Mamba: Somewhere in the back car. Boomerang: (if you must) doesn't matter Spinning Dragons: Try as hard as you possibly can to get a car with only two people facing forward when you're in the station. If you can't do that, get the heaviest people facing forward. You're experience on this ride relies on where you sit. It's almost an art. All this talk has gotten me excited - good thing I'm going today. -

Those are called "brakes." You would die without them. -
Sign up for a puppy training class at your local Petsmart or Petco. I don't remember everything they taught us, but it helped a LOT. BTW, you're dog is really cute.

Sure thing. Here it is. Be warned, my parks have a history of not working. And remember, there's still going to be one more ride. If you still want it though... EDIT: Old version deleted - new version below. -

Why isn't that realistic? They could slow the train the same amount with half the trim. -

I wish they would take off all of that trim. It was pretty intense before they added it. -

Between 2008 and 2010, it's my guess that OoF will be expanded and the park will get a Screamin' Swing and a GCI.
