  1. Thanks for posting this video. It even had Serpent footage on it as well. The coaster train looks different than I remember. Also I remember the Serpent giving you two circuit rides when you rode it because of its short length. Do they still do that?
  2. Ok I admit I every Easter I buy a box for myself.
  3. Maybe SfoG will get the Serpent....oh well, its scrap now. If Froniter City gets anything they will probably put it in storage like they did with Dexter Frebish/Excalibur. I really wanted to ride Greezed Lighning though, its was the new coaster when I went to Astroworld.
  4. That has the best the coolest entrance to any kiddyland ever. LOL! Would that scare the kids who try to enter?
  5. But what is going to happen to the shuttle loop???
  6. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooo! I wanted to go back there in a couple of years to ride my very first credit, The Serpent. Plus all the other rides that I was too short for back in 1978. I'm very sad about this.
  7. Robb only counts Gwazi as one credit? They are distinctly two different tracks. I can understand counting a racer as one credit (which I do) since they both pretty much share the same supports and all, but Gwazi is two distinctly different tracks.
  8. WoW! I would never go back to that park either.
  9. Wow! was that the Milwaukee Zoo? I have not been there in many years. They still have the train and the awsome gorilla named Sampson? Probably not, that had to be over 23 or 24 years ago since I have been. Though I have been to the domes many times. You need to do a Domes Photo:TR.
  10. LoL, Posuckson's Fury (Posideon's Fury) is closed right because because they are transforming it into a Haunted House for HHN. I guess I am the only person on the planet who seems to enjoy Dr. Snooze (Dr Doom). Yet again, I never wait for than 5 mins for it. Funny how the single rider's line seemed to go real slow. Actually it sounded like the park was pretty crowded the day you went with Dueling Dragons being 20mins and The Hulk being 60. I guess it's because of Rock the Universe that weekend. Good TR btw, just waiting for more pictures
  11. Oh it does? I guess I never noticed it either. I shall be on the look out for it next time I go.
  12. I wish our parks gave you the ability to have water-balloon fights. Nice TR!!
  13. ^^ You got to love the Family Guy reference. Since I have to use glasses, I do use a eyeglasses strap to help them from coming off during the coasters (Zero-G inversion on The Incredible Hulk is wicked). I used to have to ride with them in my pocket, but I really did not appreciate riding semi-blurry coasters.
  14. I have to admit this has been the best contest yet. So many good quality coasters.
  15. Well, I hope that you can go back sometime soon.
  16. Check this site out. http://www.towerofterror.org/historydesign.html IIRC, there is something on the ceiling that acts as a guide to keep it on track. Never actually bothered to look up though, so I could be wrong. It was just something someone told me once. I am not really sure, but I don't think there is a ceiling track. On the web site I posted there is a nice video of some of the innerworkings of Tower of Terror. http://www.towerofterror.org/media/behind.html
  17. Nice TR. There are some great views on some of those rides.
  18. Check this site out. http://www.towerofterror.org/historydesign.html
  19. Well I am sure that the budget for Orlando's Tower has not been adjusted for 2005. I think Orlando's is now around ten years old. If not, its got to be close to it.
  20. Sounds like the pre-show is going to be pretty neat.
  21. Anyone have any idea if its still going to use the Twilight Zone theme? I wonder if Twilight Zone has even been shown in Japan. Its rumored (you know how rumors are) that the Paris version will not be Twilight Zone themed due to its lack of name recognition in that country.
  22. Looks like a nice park, and you still have tons of more space to expand.
  23. Would that be Swamp Thing? When did they start calling the students swamp things anyways? I must be out of the loop. Go Gators! I hope they win next week, going to be a tough game.
  24. That is until the build the Holy Roller Coaster. I don't think thats going to happen though.
  25. They are moving right along with this ride. Boy, Disney is going to have a busy 2006 season. Does this one look to be the same height as the DCA one? I think its really neat how each one has a distinct style from the others. There is no way it could beat the good tower...(well it could, but I don't want to be jealous heh heh heh).
