  1. The Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain is also up there in the length category. It's also a pretty cool name IMHO. -James
  2. If you're staying multiple days, and it's really hot, and you count waterslide credits.... then do it. If this doesn't describe your situation, then I'd grab a second ride on MF, Maverick, and TTD which you could do in the time it takes to do Soak City in its entirety. -James Dillaman
  3. Check www.indianabeach.com for the details on tickets... But meals were about 5-7 bucks, drinks were 2.50 medium, 3.00 large. Snacks ranged from 1.50-4 bucks Thanks. He forgot to mention Fascination is 50 cents/game. This is as important as any food or drink...
  4. JZ, I was there while you were taking all these, and yet I still can't believe some of these photos. I seriously have never seen many of these angles and shots. Your photos are awesome! -James Dillaman
  5. ^ Getting your Uncle's used car isn't the same as getting a new car... So I can see this making good business sense... Its been a long time since a truly new coaster. -James Dillaman
  6. I know this was being discussed here, but I can't say many people didn't see this coming... http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=50027
  7. ^ The backseat of my car when we come across a deer on the highway at night driving 80 has more airtime than MF. -James Dillaman
  8. Wait, are you trying to tell me there's something worthwhile about Alabama?
  9. LOL, I like how you tried to get me to ride the waterslide... I said no. -James Dillaman EDIT: What's taking you so long. Post the rest of the photos, already! Geez.
  10. ^ don't expect to find any hotels right next to the park. You're better off staying an hour out or so... -James Dillaman
  11. Great TR!! Indiana Beach and Dollywood are two of my favorite parks, for very different reasons. Since I'm probably not going to make it down to Pigeon Forge this year (I say probably as I won't rule it out...), I'm really looking forward to tomorrow when PKIManJZ and I are hitting this up. Thanks for the photos, they're great! Was the stunt show running, yet? -James Dillaman
  12. The only reason I wanted to go on a Monday instead of a weekend is I'm hoping the crowds will be rather light... *crosses fingers* -James
  13. ^ Yeah, I'm pretty much resigned to leaving my camera at home, as I can't compete with Zach... -James Dillaman
  14. ^ I wonder if it's ever been replaced.... Wear and tear combined with the moist air off of Lake Erie could have something to do with it, too. -James Dillaman
  15. ^ I would, but our car's full.... We're each bringing one non-TPR friend.
  16. Well, I've been teasing Zach (PKIManJZ) for a long time about not having the Indiana credits and living so close. Since he just returned from a much-anticipated trip to Holiday World, I asked if he wanted to hit up Indiana Beach. After getting approval from all involved, it's ON! So, as Zach has become quite the amateur photographer, I'm sure everyone will enjoy his take at this photogenic park in the heartland. I'll show him how there's more than corn in Indiana! We'll be at the park from open until close on Monday, June 1st. As it's not a large park, we should be easy to spot if you're looking for us. If any TPR members are in the area and free, stop by and ride with James and JZ! -James Dillaman Everybody on here knows Zach from his Diamondback thread, I'm sure, but here he is... This is me, so you know what I look like, as I tend to lurk behind the people taking pictures instead of in front of them... Oh and that's snoopy with me, he's not coming to Indiana Beach, though.
  17. I used to wish that Dutch Village would get a couple more rides... I enjoy it for the atmosphere, though. You left out the slide and other play areas, which are borderline amusements.... I was just happy to find out my fiance is NOT a witch, according to the giant scales at Dutch Village. -James Dillaman
  18. ^ You don't have to try to sound like an a$$, JZ, it just comes naturally to you. You're gifted. -James Dillaman
  19. The City Museum is Red Dawn Awesome and was the highlight of my trip to St. Louis a couple summers ago. They were doing construction in the same places, though. Makes me wonder if the roof will ever be completed... -James Dillaman
  20. That's Sean Flaherty's car. He doesn't really get on coaster boards anymore, or go to any events, but I've known him for 11 years. Nice guy, but doesn't really get along with TPR for some reason or other. He doesn't seem to hold it against me, though. Glad you had a good time at the park a couple miles from my house! -James Dillaman
  21. Jeff always was the nicest PR guy here at KI. We miss him terribly, but glad to hear he's still working his magic down at Sclhitterbahn. -James Dillaman
  22. Without any problem at all, those hyper seats are niiiiiiice. Thank you Brian, Tyler, and Amanda for helping with my cell phone. It's a little banged up, but happy to be back in my pocket where it belongs. Sorry I didn't get to see you off, Big Mike, but I couldn't find you after they got my cell phone back. Hope the rest of your trips are awesome and hope you get a Beast night ride in tonight! Peace. Oh and ^ Big Mike already has that credit. -James Dillaman
  23. Change in plans, I decided Managerial Accounting 201 can wait as hanging out with Big Mike is truly the chance of a lifetime. I'll be there first thing in the morning! Alas, I can't get out of working later, but oh well, at least I'll get some diamondback rides in... -James Dillaman
  24. Big Mike, I will only be able to come out for a couple hours in the early afternoon. I'll PM you my cell number if you want, as KI is a huge park and there's almost no hope of me finding you in it without. I'll be there at noon. -James Dillaman
