  1. Budget cuts have forced them all to close... -James Dillaman
  2. Any new slide that cuts down Zoombabwe's line is cool with me. -James Dillaman
  3. True, there must be something far more sinister going on.... James *gonna check the interweb for alien landing sights.... the rosebowl looks very suspicious.* Dillaman
  4. Quoted to save this.... Apparently Cedar Fair is very empathetic. Anyway, this is tragic, but as it's been said, I'm shocked the parents let a 3 year-old child out of their sight at a waterpark. -James Dillaman
  5. Wish you had uploaded your pictures to TPR, because I can't view them. Oh well. One thing struck me as strange: You said you're used to Drop Zone being a ten minute wait. What days do you go on? The only time I've seen it a 10 minute wait is when the park is REALLY empty. Drop Zone is one of the most popular rides in the park. -James Dillaman
  6. The management team, including Brian, also shut down Firehawk to retrieve my cell phone that had fallen out on the loop. Sorry I couldn't hang out longer, Big Mike, but I had to get that back. The workers at Kings Island are awesome, except maybe for Zach -James Dillaman
  7. ^ For those who don't know.... Zach used to like Son of Beast, so if he says it's rough, he knows what he's talking about... -James Dillaman
  8. Great update Zach! I haven't caught you since you've gotten back, but glad you had a great time. Can't wait to see what you thought of Krypton Coaster and the log flume at Fiesta Texas. I'll get back up to KI sometime and see ya soon! -James Dillaman
  9. I only see 5 duckies. I so want to be right, but it's really hard on an iPhone when it's the only Internet you have! -James Dillaman
  10. ^ Oh to not be heavy enough to do something again.... I miss those days! -James Dillaman
  11. Don't be too hard on him, he's from Kentucky. I know some people down there that just got indoor plumbing like a year ago... (That's true, by the way, so don't think I'm flaming...) -James Dillaman
  12. Say what you will about Backlot, but Adventure Express is hands down one of the best mine rides around. If you don't have the credit it's a must ride at Kings Island. I can only think of a few mine trains in the country that I like better. -James Dillaman
  13. The DC crash happened while under computer control, authorities have said. Even computers have errors. Think about it: what if every time your computer crashed or froze up, a train crashed. same basic principle. -James "hopes his train is driven by mac and not windows...." Dillaman
  14. Cornball Express in the back seat is one of my all-time favorites. I also enjoy Thunderhead's because it's just so wrong looking. Voyage is good, too, but straight forward. Granted, I've only been on like 70 wooden coasters... -James Dillaman
  15. ^Instead of one set of anti-rollbacks, there are two on SoB. This makes the "click, click click click" twice as loud as most wooden coasters on the lift.... -James Dillaman
  16. ^ click it again. It took me to the index, then I clicked the link again and it worked.... -James Dillaman
  17. Yes this is a good sideshow. The "freaks" are all very nice people and it's a vanishing art. A must do for any Coney virgin. -James Dillaman
  18. Yes. You are the only one... Say hi to the other people in Imagination land for me, especially Manbearpig.
  19. SoB is dangerous anytime... -James Dillaman
  20. I'd pay well over $100 for enough wood from SoB to make a Bonfire. The satisfaction from destroying something that I'm sure took a couple years off of my life would be worth it. At the very least I'm sure it makes me much more susceptible to arthritis later in life. (All that bone-jarring can't be good) -James Dillaman EDIT: And I'd even post a fun photo TR. I might even invite Chuck, Guy, Erik and Andrew back up here, so they could personally each toss a board on...
  21. Better to be safe... tear it down. You will be missed by a few hundred people, SoB. The rest of us will ride Vortex if we want to be bruised up. At least that ride has track that isn't a helix.... -James Dillaman
  22. Well I apologize. I never spent much time at this park, as it is always too hot (no shade) and not enough to do. If you ask me, the $5.00 admission price advertised on TV here ($29.99 for 6 admissions) is too steep. I'll drive the extra hour to Holiday World. It's a shame since the park could be good, but I'm afraid it'll go the way of Geauga Lake and soon only be a waterpark. -James Dillaman
  23. ^ Twisted Twins.... seriously? Thunder Run is by no means a top ten coaster, but I'd rather ride The Beast than Twisted Twins, hahaha! -James Dillaman
  24. Thunder Run used to be a good coaster, and I distinctly remember it having two trains at one time... -James Dillaman
