  1. Awesome and beautiful! there isn't a close up picture of the restraint system is there? Does it look comfy?
  2. A wooden shuttle coaster! Why didn't I ever think of that! What a fun idea! I can't wait to ride it! It's adorable!
  3. I'm actually playing through Silent Hill 2 again! Memories Memories dreams of love so true. And on that sea of memories I'm drifting back to you! (If you don't know what I'm quoting then you're normal. Because that song is older than most of your parents! LOL)
  4. Yes I know this is a VERY OLD post. However it is still sooo true! This actually happened to me earlier this year on Screamin Eagle at SFSTL! But seriously who doesn't wear deodorant all the time every day? Hippies I tell you Hippies! And people at any Six Flags park. You know the kind who get a Looney tunes tattoos and listen to Kid Rock. LoL you know the type of person I'm talking about!
  5. So I got to thinking this morning while reading about the Boomerang coming to SFSTL that there had to be a first. So I did some research and it appears the first (and please correct me if I'm wrong) was Sea Serpent at Morey's Piers in 1984. Now these days when another Boomerang is announced the enthusiast community seems to collectively groan. I actually like them so I may be in the minority here. However I assume when they first came out it must have been exciting! Does anyone here remember what the original announcement for Morey's Piers was like and what the reaction from the enthusiast community was? Also we have all ridden them so I would love people to post their best and worst memories involving a Vekoma Boomerang!
  6. ^ I agree and I myself have actually had some good times on a Boomerang. I was pissed when Worlds of Fun added theirs but I still went with some friend and we rode it. It was raining there was no line and we rode that thing like 20 times! Seriously it was a amazing experience! Sure, nothing amazing about the ride itself but still a lot of fun. Actually I'm honestly unsure when and where the first Boomerang was built. Anyone know? Because I bet when that thing was announced it was a BIG DEAL! I'm pretty sure fan boys drooled over it! However all of that said I want my Intamin MegaLite! And I will scream and moan until I get it!
  7. Rocky Mountain Coaster Company: Needless to say the work your company is doing is groundbreaking! Has you company considered designing and marketing a launched wood coaster?
  8. Knott's Berry Farm going to Vekoma to build them a Giga Coaster. Whats worse than Snookie Reproducing?
  9. It's actually nice to know there are so many of us gays within the enthusiast community. Hmm maybe Rob should start adding gay bars/clubs to TPR trips! LoL
  10. Goes without saying Outlaw Run!
  11. WOW! Looking at that I really can't wait to go to Japan! It's sooo my thing!
  12. Someday this park will that that Intamin we deserve! sigh*
  13. Yeah this fits in perfectly with what their parks are and do! I am quite happy with this news! Although those stop motion Christmas Cartoons terrified me when I was younger!
  14. Wow from peoples description I am really sad I did not get to ride this. Sad Day! I really wish this was not a dying breed of coaster.
  15. How did I miss this! Well this is amazing news! Super glad to hear about it! Is it just me or is premier way overlooked? I mean a lot of their rides are flat out awesome!
  16. Heck yeah I am sooo game! This is awesome!
  17. ^ See it's the same for me! If it's in a group situation or a enthusiast event I'm all over it! However if I'm alone or its just two of us I'm not going to be the creepy guy trying to ride the kiddie coaster!
  18. Umm Gay. That is all.
  19. I will most definitely be taking advantage of Silver Dollar City being open through the end of December! So I don't get it as bad as a lot of you. However January, February, and most of March are always difficult! So After a good cry I will post on the TPR boards and watch videos and sleep! Also in my town there is a hill we call Roller Coaster Hill. If you go down it fast enough you get some decent air! So yeah, i may do that a few times if it gets too bad! LoL
  20. B&M- As you know one of your top competitors Intamin has successfully designed and built several Wooden Roller Coasters. Have you as a company ever considered developing your own take on the wood coaster?
  21. So as I'm sure most of you know in 1981 Kings Island built The Bat the first prototype Arrow Suspended Coaster. Unfortunately it was plagued with mechanical issues and was removed from the park in 1984. I was wondering if anyone here was lucky enough to experience this ride during its short life and what you thought about it? I think it looks fun! Unfortunately it was gone before I came into this world. For those here who know nothing about it go here http://rcdb.com/627.htm
  22. Well despite Silver Dollar City being my home park and obviously being from the Midwest I will be going to Dollywood for the first time next spring! I'm sure it's going to be great!
  23. Man I really need to go to to this park! Hey Rob when are you guys going back? Lol
  24. I visited this park for the first time earlier this year and I LOVED this park! Old Americana! I loved Boat Chute it was like riding history and also just plain fun! This announcement is exciting and unexpected! I'm quite happy about it! I also think this is a very wise move!
