  1. On a good note they think the timberliner trains will be ready next season! LoL just playin holiday world you know we love you!
  2. You know it's funny I thought the same thing when I watched the video! I was like hmmm two coasters disguised as one. either way I'm game to ride! So Rob what's the chance of a TPR trip stopping at Alton Towers next year? If so count me in! Also does this mean we can count The Smiler as two credits? lol!
  3. Holiwood Nights 2013! What a blast! A big thank you to everyone who helped make it amazing! Thanks Raven Maven!
  4. Unfortunately it looks like rain for Holiwood Nights. Hopefully it's not too bad. Does anyone know what their policies are with rain and ride operations at the park?
  5. Haven't played in a long time and decided to start work on a new park. Check it out SCR1.BMP SCR2.BMP SCR3.BMP SCR4.BMP SCR5.BMP SCR6.BMP SCR7.BMP SCR8.BMP
  6. ThuNderaTion at Silver Dollar City well over a 1000 rides on it. It was my first coaster and I still love it today!
  7. So I started saving a few months ago for a TPR Japan trip got a little over a thousand saved thus far and I was wondering if you had a guess on the cost including flight just so I can ballpark my monthly saving. Also I know you're going this year but what's the likelihood of one in 2014? Although depending where you go in 2014 I may just do two tours Thanks
  8. So Rob which is it? Outlaw Run or Iron Rattler? So is it safe to say RMC are the new coaster gods!?
  9. Looks like a good time but next time we need photos of you eating tacos while on a roller coaster!
  10. Hmmm I wonder if there is a way to get The Travel Channel for just a day? Hmmm so who's gonna post this thing online for us? LoL
  11. So I read this and couldn't believe it! Still couldn't help but laugh though! m.nypost.com/p/news/local/manhattan/disney_world_srich_kid_outrage_zTBA0xrvZRkIVc1zItXGDP
  12. Actually it sort of fits what SDC has been doing lately. Their rides are getting more and more intense. People get this idea of SDC being a family park with low thrills but trust me recently their rides have been getting more intense. I wouldn't say Powder Keg is a family ride and Outlaw Run is anything but. SDC is starting to push the thrills in their park so their next coaster will most likely be bigger and more thrilling than the last! Although it's gonna be damned hard to beat Outlaw Run that ride is sick!
  13. Okay, so I have no way of knowing if this is true but a few whispers I keep hearing are that SDC is going back back to B&M to give us B&M's first fourth dimension coaster. Again I don't have any way of proving this it's just a couple whispers I've heard. We shall know soon enough I suppose.
  14. OMG! I finally got a chance to ride Outlaw Run today and yeah Rob was not lying that ride kiss all sorts off ass! Seriously go ride it! Also I was talking to a few higher ups ((cough)) Pete Herschend during the ACE event and was told to keep our eyes open for 2015 and that well be pretty happy! Although I don't know if I could be happier than I am with Outlaw Run!
  15. Yeah I like both! I can't choose because both are great companies! I will say B&M is better for a park looking for a less intense family ride and Intamin is more all out thrills. It comes down to what the park wants/needs. It's about money ya know.
  16. I'll be riding this during my PA trip next summer! I can't wait! 100th POST!
  17. Yeah I can't stand parents who force kids onto rides! My mother was great she simply told me not to worry and that she would ride with me! It worked I rode and I was hooked! Forcing kids just scares them!
  18. Oh Raven maven this is why we love you and Holiday World! You're involved with you're fans! You keep us in the loop and treat us so well thank you!
  19. I think it heavily depends on the park. Lets look at my home park Silver Dollar City. They do a great job having a thrilling ride along with excellent themeing! However then we have a classic Americana Style Park like Lake Winnie. If they suddenly built a heavily themed ride it just wouldn't fit! However shame on Any park for building parking lot rides. Scream at SFMM im looking at you. Honestly at least pull up the lot and plant grass! However I guess we can't really complain because a roller coater is better than no roller coaster. Unless it's Son Of Beast. LoL
  20. So as Coaster Enthusiasts I would say a large portion of us keep track of New rides added to parks year to year. Occasionally however a major attraction at a park slips through the cracks for me. It's not that I didn't know they built it but that I simply forgot that they did. Most recently I had this happen with two parks I haven't been to in awhile. First was Diamondback at King's Island. First of all this is a HUGE attraction but somehow I completely forgot that ride was even in the park! It was a OMG did I seriously forget about this moment!? Second was Sky Rocket at Kennywood. I think this is mainly because I feel its SO over shadowed by other rides at the park that I just forget it's there Does this happen to anyone else or should I just get my head checked?
  21. You know for a family that brings so much joy and happiness to people they seem to have more than their fair share of Tragedy !
  22. That surprises me. It looks like its just flying through those inversions! That first heartline roll look crazy intense! Either way I MUST RIDE THIS RIDE! Great video Rob! Thanks!
  23. This is how you know you're raising your kids right! Seriously I love sky coasters but they still make me more nervous than she got! Impressive!
