  1. Twister is fine, but if it were socially acceptable, I would sleep with Phoenix and buy it breakfast in the morning...
  2. I haven't ridden that many, but Maxair is my favorite of the ones that I have. I think I rode it 6 or 7 times on my multi-day visit to CP last summer. So much fun. So I guess my answer would be: Huss Giant Frisbee
  3. V: Videodrome
  4. Its a Small World
  5. This cool little number from Red Hook is a quite tasty black lager: ]
  6. Neither. I hate the first one and have no idea what the second one is. The Joker or the Riddler?
  7. Neither. Kiddie coasters are for kiddies. Salsa or queso?
  8. Looks like opening weekend is gonna have some great weather, especially on Sat and Sun. Wish I was going...
  9. U: Under the Skin
  10. O: Octopussy
  11. The theming on a good coaster is less important, since all the best coasters don't have slow enough spots to enjoy the theming anyway. But as for pretty much any water ride, track ride, smaller coaster, etc, theming is literally the most important thing to me...
  12. Considering Missouri is like the one state in practically the whole country that hasn't been bombarded with snow this winter, they really have no excuse for not being schedule with the new ride (if that is the case)...
  13. M: Minority Report
  14. D: Don't be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood
  15. I have an awesome selfie stick story. My wife and I and another couple brought our kids on a winter wonderland type of train ride in the St Louis area last month. This annoying 20-something guy was using his selfie stick out the side of the train car (an open car like most theme park trains), even after the P.A. announcer said before and during the ride to keep hands and arms inside the cars at all time (there were a number of trees and other objects within a foot or two of the car. Well this moron kept doing it until the end of the stick whacked a tree branch and went flying out of his hand and down a small ravine. Several people laughed audibly at his misfortune. After the train returned to the depot, my buddy and I eavesdropped on the guy as he asked a staff member if he or an employee could walk back to the spot to retrieve his camera, and he was told no one could walk back until all trains were idle for the night. The best part is that this was 11:00 AM and the last train for the day left the station at 8:30 PM, so the idiot was told he had to wait 10 hours until he could get his little gadget back. It was good times...
  16. I've seen American Sniper, and yes, it is good. Of course, I'm a dirty liberal (wink wink) and I don't like how they completely ignored the fact that the U.S. was the invading force and the Iraqis were just reacting to being invaded. But either way, its a good film. And worthy of discussion. But yeah, its nowhere near Best Picture-worthy. Boyhood, Whiplash, Grand Budapest Hotel, Selma, even Birdman (which I think is very overrated, but still very good) are all superior films to Sniper...
  17. I hadn't seen this thread before. But man, what a fantastic idea for a thread. Very informative. Thanks TPR folks...
  18. I think those movies suck, and I'm not really a fan of motion sim rides, but this looks pretty effing cool...
  19. I haven't really had much desire to go to SFSTL the last couple of years. Other than the oldest and newest woodies, the rest pretty much bores me (although I've yet to ride Mr Freeze in the Reverse Blast mode). With the Battle for Metropolis coming in, I'm sure I'll be back next year. I still think its a nice park. There just aren't too many surprises for me. A steel mega or flying coaster or something like that would have me back to being a regular though...
  20. So what I'm getting from this thread is that I should feel guilty because I love Schwarzkopf coasters, log flumes, haunted houses, Spaceship Earth, the TTA... Jeez. I grew up Catholic and never felt so much needless guilt being thrust upon me!
  21. Literally no one knows cares what you're talking about. Indoor coaster with great theming and low-intensity vs. indoor coaster with no theming and great intensity (but not rough at all)?
