  1. They will most likely have a $120 parking+admission+fl+all day dining up and running much of the season. I doubt you're really saving $100 if you wanted to visit in the fall. But, the current deal is great if you want to visit before the cutoff. Heck, pick up one for Kings Island and cut out your second day in Pigeon Forge. But, late summer can be slow at Dollywood. Show up during the week and the park is all yours some days. Same for Carowinds. Look at the queue-times for those weeks last year.
  2. I like rumors. It's being suggested current survey markers everywhere line up with Jersey Devil. Several sections are exact or very close.
  3. I did a Sat/Sun middle in Nov. Sat was busy, lots of buses already there before it opened. Sunday started slower and we got a bunch of rides in during the first few hours. Seemed like a membership got us in a few minutes early for a head start.
  4. If they finish the track in the next week or two, it's possible. They are already doing block testing, moving trains, etc. Need about 3 weeks of testing and it's good. Not saying it's going to happen, but I don't think it's a crazy idea, either.
  5. I'm guessing just some track work and a paint job. Hopefully it'll be done before May unlike Scorcher last year.
  6. Rumors are suggesting BG is targeting March 14 for opening Gwazi.
  7. It has to be that expensive. Should be more expensive some days in my opinion. Otherwise everyone would have it and it wouldn't do any good.
  8. Nice trip there with the kids. See you guys at coastermania.
  9. Can I just say how awful the Monster Jam themed wing coaster going around looks? That can't be real. (The theming that is. I believe the coaster is real.)
  10. Looks like they eliminated FL+ here for the 2020 season. Just one FL option now.
  11. I did MM in Oct on a Sat. First visit. Ended with 38k+ on the Fitbit. Great workout. My buddy was worn out and he was several hours late.
  12. Last piece is going in right now.
  13. Coasterstock on sale Feb 3rd. Dates are 5/15-16. https://www.visitkingsisland.com/blog/2020/january/tickets-for-coasterstock-2020-go-on-sale-monday-exclusively-online
  14. My plan is to do media day and the first rider event. Probably stick around for passholder day, too.
  15. Are you sure about this date? Don hasn't posted anything on the website that I could find. I know it happens around this time every year. I hope you're right... They mentioned the date at No Coaster Con a week or two ago.
  16. Coasterstock is May 15 and 16. Can't help with on-sale date.
  17. We've got a Moser's model around here. How does that compare to the original Huss models?
  18. Vortex's station was bulldozed yesterday. RIP.
  19. I'm going with Reese's, Twizzlers, and Kisses. The transition graphics have these icons and the hershey chocolate track. They also appear on the end on the logo. There's no Almond Joys or Mounds to be seen. The blue is the iconic writing on the tab.
  20. Unlimited was $50 last year. Most week days first half of June were dead this year. No timesaver needed. Just how fast can you walk around. Absolute worst case $50 and you can ride as much as you want. You'll pretty much have a walk on everywhere. If it is crowded it's because of schools and band trips. None of the get them TimeSaver. So $50 makes it a walk on day for you.
  21. Current Plans - KI Media Day? Busch Gardens/KD/SFA trip late April Ohio State and Opening Day at Cedar Point The week leading up to HoliWood Nights: SFGAmerica, WOF, SDC, SFSTL Mid-July: SFNE, Lake Compounce, Luna Nov: SFMM, Knotts, SWSD Dec: BGT, Fun Spots Carowinds for ACE event. Kings Island some random weekend. SFoG a couple times since I'm down there a bunch.
