I don't have one myself. I saw one or two pics on FB. It's a metal piece that covers about half the headrest on the back side. It appears the accident might have happened while getting in and out from the looks of the piece. Maybe she got a big slash or something while grabbing hold to enter or exit. That is complete speculation there and just a guess.

They put a new piece behind the headrest and got CS back up and running this afternoon. Good news.

Is this true? I'm in california at Great America, current platinum passholder and considering doing all park season FL. Could I purchase a new platinum pass via CW with all park FL and activate it at Great America? Also, does anyone know if the all park FL is FL+? Click on the link at CW. Click Paypal. It will show you the conversion. Was ~$750USD through Paypal last week when I checked.

Anyone got news on Copperhead Strike? Heard there was injury and it's been down since Sunday.

Cedar Fair doesn't like to close their parks. It'll be open unless it's pretty bad.

Agreed. Been running fairly well this year. It was really hot last week in this area. We were scheduled to take my wife's brother but held off for another weekend. He's never been and LR hadn't run for a few days. Rollbacks on LR...that doesn't happen every day. I'm jealous. And an evac later on? What a day!

Set a goal and knock it out. I dropped 175 lbs over the last year so I could get back into coasters. I've had the best year ever and my life is 100% different now. 115 credits this year. 474 rides this year. Haven't been denied yet including the kiddie coasters.

Land has been cleared. It's directly across the street from their other waterpark / hotel / conference center, Wilderness in the Smokies. Should be a great spot for families. I imagine they will have more hotel rooms in that spot soon, too.

Following up here. CP and Knotts don't currently have a landing page up but the others will be doing 2020 passes tomorrow. From Canada's Wonderland FB page today: Canada's Wonderland 2020: Platinum Passholders will receive unlimited free visits to all Cedar Fair parks in 2019 with the exception of Knotts Berry Farm. There you will be entitled to one free visit in 2019. The Fast Lane Plus Pass is a one time use and can only be used at Canada's Wonderland (it may not be used during Haunt or WinterFest).

So, do these have to activated at CW? Seems like a fine deal if you want the platinum with all parks FP. Previously it appears you don't have to activate these at the home park.

Quite the savings to buy there if that's Canadian dollars.

Be careful. When they start lighting the pumpkins and starting that whole festival, it can become really crowded. Saturdays are pretty much the only busy days right now. Area schools are slowly starting back. If you're going solo, drop me a line. Might be able to meet up for a bit if you want some company. LR down all day today. Strange.

Lightning Rod has been struggling the last few days. Unusual this year. It was down most of today. Same for the last couple days. I ended up at the park for the last 2 hours and it was listed as closed for the day.

I'll probably call the park tomorrow but maybe someone knows... If I bring a friend next weekend and use the coupon for passholders, can we enter at 9:00? Good enough if I have a pass? Can't imagine they are that tight about it.

We made our first visit to KD on Monday. I've wanted to visit since I was a kid. This was the 4th and last day of a long weekend trip. There were very few people in the park. Racer was fun and was an amazing view of Intimidator and the park. Really liked it. Grizzly was a bit rough but I liked it. Good night ride. Intimidator was really fun. Rode it for 45 minutes without leaving the station at dusk. Could have sat on it all night; crew didn't care and most trains were half empty. Twisted Timbers - Nice area. Looks beautiful. Loved the ride. Sat on back row green for the last 40 minutes they were open. Really enjoyed it. Had a couple hours delay with a storm. Finally got things back up and running around 730. Anaconda was the last credit we needed. The crew was having fun and joking around. They were having folks do shout outs on the station mic and having a good time. Top of the lift they stopped our train. Asked who had their phone out. Had us put our hands up. Put them down. No seriously, who has the phone. Then they were laughing and said they were sending it. The crew was amusing themselves. First time I've really been able to just stay in my seat or move around at will between rides. Loved it. All in all, had a great time. I'll be back for sure.

Quick update: those 2020 rain tickets work just fine. We are a few ppl back in line at Steel Curtain right now. Day 2 at Kennywood us going to be good. I can feel it.

It was a beautiful night in Pitt this evening. Would have been great to be at the park. Oh well. Just really disappointing. Seems crazy they shut down at 615 but not my park or call. Got rain tix then hung out with old friends. We are going to swing by and get our missing credits and a few flats tomorrow before heading downtown for the game. Hershey on Sunday.

Steel Curtain is fun. Phantom is fun. Kennywood as a whole seems like a dump. Edit: it's been a tough day. Long drive, crappy ops, crowded, line jumpers, idiots being especially idiotatic, and then shutting down when rain showed up. Skies were beautiful by 7pm Win some, lose some. Maybe tomorrow.
