Didn't mean to ruffle feathers. The coaster is fine. I was just being selfish. Not my favorite and I've always found them a bit goofy. The actual ride is fairly smooth and serves its purpose. -

You can buy online or at the park. You can also monitor to see how many are left on the same page where you purchase them online. Risk bad weather buying them too far in advance. Also, those Time Savers also get you reserved seating at the shows if those interest you. Saves you from having to stand in line for those. -

Driving back from KI I decided to hit up Kentucky Kingdom. Never been before. Had a great time. I can't wait to return later and see the whole park going. Not many people there today. Everything was a walk on which was nice. 2 trains going on Flyer so it was pretty much walk up the stairs and sit down. Fun little ride. Rode it a few times and enjoy it. Like everyone else has said, little more airtime than I really thought it would have. I enjoyed Lightning Run and it is super smooth. Storm Chaser was really nice. I have been riding Lightning Rod a bunch lately and Storm Chaser holds it's own. I was grinning the whole time. Rode it a bunch today. The first drop/roll and hill are top notch. T3 is ok; just a little rough here and there. Thunder Run was decent enough. Seemed to have a ton of new track towards the end. Everyone was nice. Couldn't ask for more. I'll be back soon. Also met Daniel from Midway Mayhem and some OVC guys and chatted with them. Nice folks. Nice running into some youtube'ers that I've watched for awhile. Good times today. -

First time at KI in over 20 years yesterday. Had a blast. Old roommate joined me along with his family for a few hours. Great seeing them. Fast Lane makes everything super easy here like everyone says. Great buy during the Prez day sale. Started raining for a few hours around 5. Diamondback in the rain was a fun time. Banshee was excellent. Throw Stunt Coaster in the garbage. Ended up with 30 coaster rides. Loved seeing the park and I-street. Beast at night was great and brought back some memories. Everyone working was great. My only complaint is they need about 5 more Chik Fil A stands. -

Here's 2 pics I took this afternoon. Spent a couple hours there doing all the coasters a few times and getting my steps in for the day. Place was empty and everything was a walk on. Nice couple hours before heading home. There were a few cranes working on the tree today. Still saw branches laying out back in the gravel lot behind it. They are going to be working their butts off to finish. -

Normal one is a lanyard with 10 hole punches (2 of which are orange and can be used for LR or Drop Line). The Unlimited is a lanyard with a date written on it. No punch holes. Unlimited. Been plenty of times this year and seen them in action. -

I'm doing KI on Saturday and KK on Sunday this weekend. Last visit to KI was 1993. Never been to KK. Looking forward to it. 4.5 hours to KI from here. -

Superman - Ultimate Flight at SFOG on 4/22. Love the pretzel loop. -
Scorcher back up and running today. My first time on it. Smooth ride as advertised. Good stuff. Knocked out most of the coasters before heading down to 420Fest for music this afternoon. Great day to visit for a couple hours. 40-50 degrees, threat of rain made it empty. When we left at 12:40 this still hadn't opened the main parking lot. Even more amazing...2 trains running on Superman.

They have a coaster event in July if you really want to do something different. Thrills in the Hills. Think I might try it this year. -

If you buy the unlimited pass you can ride LR all day long. If it's running 2 trains, your longest wait will be a couple cycles. Wild Eagle might be a 5-10 wait. It enters the station a bit earlier than others. The others will be walk ons or < 5 min for the most part with a pass. Park may be packed but a higher percentage are there for shows and just to be outside versus other parks. If you haven't been on Thunderhead and like classic woodies, I bet you'll find yourself shuffling between it and LR. During the week in early Oct you might not even need the fast pass. But it's there if you really want to marathon it. -

Do we expect all coasters running that first weekend? I'm at Kings Island on the 27th most likely and thinking about swinging by KK on my way home on the 28th. Never been before. Appears that is the first day for GP? -

I think they are far more likely to raise the prices. If FL lines are really backing up, they probably aren't charging enough. -

I'd say odds are I'll hop in one when I visit the park. Don't have the opportunity to sit in a monster truck too often. If I was only there 1 day I'd skip it for sure. -

Looks like I'm in the minority. I wouldn't mind the B&M Hyper wrapped around park of the park. All sound great and I'm for anything new.
